Priorities, distance, gains and relations determine whether or not something becomes an exception.

A nation that tries to play his hand on having mostly exceptions for himself (prime example is Saddam Hussein) can easily become the exception itself from not being invaded.

Just as Russia nowadays has been so accustomed to receiving exceptions from the west, Europe and the like due to its size alone. That when Europe has "had enough, no matter it's size" Russia becomes bewildered, confused and does not understand what is going on

In a sense I'll agree with calling it Israeli terror, as all war and violence has a certain degree if terror. But, terrorism as we call it is not what Israel is engaged in. It is not Israel who houses its strategic assets in hospitals and schools. They do not pit their own people in harms way by hiding behind human shields. Etc.

Question: what is Israel to do? How are they to respond to a terrorist attack? How do they raise the probability such an attack doesn't happen again, ie deterrence?

Are you aware that in the past 24 hours, Hamas has rejected a deal for cease fire where Israel made concessions and that would have allowed in part allowed in humanitarian aid?
