Donald Tusk's is not looking good these days, his eyes are starting to look a bit vacant, the PiS derangement syndrome is really starting to take hold.

PO knows they cannot allow gay marriage and stay in power for more than one cycle

It seems you forgot your own words from a few months ago about the old generation dying out. The new generation of young people have a very positive attitude towards LGBT. They will choose parties at next elections.

I predict the gay marriage will be introduced during the next term, around 2027-28 and will remain for good.

the EU is playing too hard line with recovery funds.

No, they are teaching PiS ritards to stick to the rule of law. And this education really works. :):):)

But I agree in many ways with their views on family, governance, and immigration

Also defence and energy independence, just think if PiS had not been in power since 2014, Baltic Pipe would never had been built, and the PO goverment would have been like Germany, secretly hoping Russia would win and delaying and lying about arms supplies, forever offending our neighbours Ukraine. Also no arm purchases from USA and Korea just relying on rubbish german and french stuff. And no teritorial defence force which seems like a genius move atm but was laughted at by the usual suspects here, (even maf)

raz out of Warsaw is smart,

Be carefull about Trashkowski, he may appear all businessman savvy and dynamic, but his campus 2050 political program was funded by a german foundation, he's a EU prosititute like tusk but hasin't had the train run through him yet.

I was advised to seek help, I did, and now I'm better.

Good work, it's an ongoing battle, i do appreciate your posts here, especially the fact news posting.

This means PiS is going to declare an unconditional surrender and fulfill all EU`s expectations in terms of the independence of the judiciary. Only to get those billions. hahahaha

Why are those ritards such nasty opportunists??? Also, they treat their voters as brainless cattle who will swallow the bitter pill happily after watching their daily portion of ritard propaganda on PiS controlled TV.

Donald Tusk's is not looking good these days

He's looking far better than those PiSflappers, who just comes across as further away from reality as their popularity slips away.

The worst thing about Kaczyński and his PiS is that they are infecting Poland with hatred and detrimental divisions. Ritards are openly promoting hatred coz they live off it. Poles who don`t share their political views are non-Poles to them.

I consider those PiS ritards as harmful as communists used to be. Thank God we are in the EU so ritards can`t do what they really want - if we weren`t, we would live in ritard Gulag system by now.

Thank God we are in the EU

Yeah, that corrupt EU where their spending and expenses are unaccounted for and some MEP's have suitcases full of Euros in bribes from Quatar and other corrupt nations......You are a comedian.....or very daft....and most of the corrupt MEP's are left wingers......one rule for the workers, another for them.....hypocrites....

their spending and expenses are unaccounted for

When I a,m reading you, PiS ritards immediately come to mind.

have suitcases full of Euros in bribes

When the power shifts to the current opposition and prosecutors become independent again, I am sure we will hear and read a lot of interesting stories about PiS bribes.

one rule for the workers, another for them.....hypocrites

Exactly PiS ritards!!!

Over two years ago Kaczyński lost a lawsuit
notesfrompoland.com/2020/07/08/court-orders-kaczynski-to-apologise-for-accusing-sikorski-of-treason-over-smolensk-crash/

A judge has ordered Jarosław Kaczyński, leader of Poland's ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party and the country's de facto leader, to apologise to former foreign minister Radosław Sikorski for accusing him of "treason" over the Smolensk plane crash.

Kaczyński didn`t apologise. That is why the court summoned him to pay 700.000 PLN, the estimated cost of the apology which is going to be sent to major media by the plaintiff, Sikorski.

Can you imagine that PiS parliamentary majority is working on a new law which will allow Kaczyński to avoid paying. Traditionally, rightists not only prove they are notorious cheaters, conmen and liars but they also refuse to take responsiibility for their dirty acts. Awful political gangsters. Tfu!

tokfm.pl/Tokfm/7,103085,29407519,kaczynski-nie-bedzie-musial-zaplacic-sikorskiemu-700-tys-zl.html

The Sejm passed an amendment to the Code of Civil Procedure, which Jarosław Kaczyński will most likely benefit from. If the law enters into force, the PiS president will not have to pay Radosław Sikorski PLN 700,000. PLN for publishing the adjudicated apology - informs Wirtualna Polska.According to the lawyers quoted in Patryk Słowik's text, the change looks as if it was tailored to the needs of this particular case.

the irony is posting this now! Your atrament is more soaked in russian p*ss than sikorski's!

pawian
31 Jan 2023  #585

atrament is more soaked i

Exactly, zero atonement on the part of Kaczyński. Kaczyński slandered his political opponent and refused to apologise. There was crime, there is punishment.

Rightists are men devoid of any honour. At least in Poland.

Is it the same in Australia?

mafketis
31 Jan 2023  #586

the change looks as if it was tailored to the needs of this particular case.

Is it retro-active? If so that is the most PRL thing PiS have done yet....

Changing the law going foreward is one thing, changing the law to rewrite the past is another, far worse thing. JK cannot leave politics too soon, he's a contagion spreading his foul PRL ethics around him....

pawian

changing the law to rewrite the past is another,

The law proposed by PiS says that all unsettled cases will be redefined according to new regulations.

a contagion spreading his foul PRL ethics around him....

Yes, I have always known it about those rightists and have always rejected them, like I rejected communism in the past.

The Chairman of PiS, Mr Jarosław Kaczyński, is still recuperating after a knee operation. At his age - 74 - it is a serious problem. We wish him quick recovery with crossed thumbs.

Without him, PiS seems to be lost:

The chairman is recovering from recent knee replacement surgery . The official line of the party is that Kaczyński is recovering at a lightning pace, that he has practically returned to his duties, that he supervises the work of the PiS election staff, that he will resume his tour of Poland to captivate voters any day now.

But nothing like that will happen. According to the our sources, Kaczyński is still unable to work even a few hours a day. He does not participate in the work of the PiS leadership on a full-time basis. Many scheduled activities have to be canceled or postponed by his co-workers.

This is because Kaczyński is sore and very weak - which is natural considering the type of surgery and the age of the patient. Leading PiS activists, assuring that everything is wonderful, are not telling the truth. On the one hand, it is a smoke screen to hide the weakness of the chairman and not lead to a crisis in the party members, who without Kaczyński do not know what to do with themselves. On the other hand, they reassure themselves that the chairman will recover for the elections and will again unleash a couple of political wars that will give the party a third term of office.

For the Love of Poland.
That`s PiS` newest slogan. And for the love of Poland PIS Chairman propagates hatred. He said about his main rival from the opposition, Donald Tusk: This red haired one from the bandit`s den is the greatest enemy of Poland.

Experts suggest it is the language used by Soviets and Nazis dealing with their political opponents.

Now, a riddle: who is Kaczyński closer to: Soviets or Nazis???

Experts

What sorts of experts? Some nonames paid by a party is not an expert but mouthpiece for the party.

Now, a riddle: who is Kaczyński closer to: Soviets or Nazis???

Neither! both of those groups are effectively the same, i.e. socialists, and therefore have zero respect for religion. Kaczynski is religious and so is diametrically opposed to both groups. Did I solve the riddle??

Luke1410
25 Jul 2023  #592

This red haired one from the bandit`s den is the greatest enemy of Poland

Could not have said it better... Though which bandit's den is he talking about? EU or Russia... now there is a riddle...

pawian
26 Jul 2023  #593

What sorts of experts?

I meant commentators of Polish politics.

Kaczynski is religious

The so called Sunday Catholic. If he could, he would drown his opponents in a spoon of water. All those rightists are potential murderers by nature.

Could not have said it better..

Actually, he further harmed his party`s chances before the coming elections with this amazing aggression which puts off undecided voters. As to me, very well! :):):)

Luke1410
26 Jul 2023  #594

The so called Sunday Catholic.

I would rather this than somebody who is openly anti-Catholic. I agree that it was an overly aggressive move and shows that he is under stress, which is to be expected as both Russia and the EU have effectively declared war on Poland.

pawian
26 Jul 2023  #595

he is under stress, which is to be expected as both Russia and the EU

No, his stress isn`t a result of Russia or the EU but an outcome of his growing fear of losing elections and being sued for his breaking the Constitution and endangering Poland to huge financial losses.

Luke1410
26 Jul 2023  #596

Let's hope so, but I think things have moved on a bit in recent years anybody who has half a brain can tell that Poland is in extreme danger, JK recognises this better than most. How did he break the constitution just out of interest?

pawian
26 Jul 2023  #597

How did he break the constitution just out of interest?

In multiple ways, e.g, by planting PiS substitute judges in the Constitutional Tribunal. As for financial losses, Poland has to pay millions of euros to the EU in fines for breaking the rule of law.

Kaczyński is responsible for everything as an instigator who pulled all the strings.

Luke1410
26 Jul 2023  #598

Poland has to pay millions of euros to the EU in fines for breaking the rule of law.

But this rule of law includes the acceptance of mass migration which you oppose?? Can you please explain how you can square this circle in your head??

And anyway the EU's approach to this is classic psychopath reasoning, i.e. 'do what we want or we'll hurt your loved ones'.

The psychopath makes you believe that it is your responsibility for them hurting your loved ones for not doing what they want, but in reality the EU holds all the power and so it is their responsibility for hurting Poland in this way not JK's. JK is just trying to stick up for Poland, a classic David and Goliath story.

pawian
26 Jul 2023  #599

But this rule of law includes the acceptance of mass migration which you oppose??

It doesn`t include migration issues. Stop lying.

JK is just trying to stick up for Poland,

No, he isn`t. He is blowing certain things out of proportion to keep old voters for his party and gain new ones. He is successful in keeping but fails in gaining, that is why he is so frustrated and aggressive towards his rivals coz all signs on earth and in Heaven suggest PiS will lose control after the elections. .

Luke1410
26 Jul 2023  #600

In multiple ways, e.g, by planting PiS substitute judges

They removed a key part of the very clever, very subtle EU power in Poland and this is why the EU is now declaring war on PiS.

What does the EU rule of law include then and how did PiS break it?
