Islam isn't a religion. It's ideology like communism or fascism. It is designed to govern nations. It introduces laws, "moral" system, administration AND religion. It should be banned in the West just like fascism and communism are.

Although I'll admit that Islam's literal meaning is "to submit to Allah", yes, I do find it offensive as we've all learned that associating one group with actions of every member of that group is just plain stupid, not to mention wrong, unjust and avoidable etc.

Think of Pres. Roosevelt's decision (actually, Sen. Breckenridge Long's decision) to deny the refugee Jews of Germany safe harbor in the States by sending back to Bremerhaven the S.S. Missouri nearly eighty years ago. His administration blamed the fear of Jewish Communists on not allowing them in, although it was never proven that ANY of the hundred-odd crew members had any connection with the Communist Party, similarly to Trump's justifying his ban on Muslims as owing to the suspicion that most are terrorists when such too has yet to be sucessfully proven.

And as far as the proposed wall along Mexico's Northern border, haven't we learned since '89-'90 that walls just don't work??!

The one stipulation is that the shoulders must be covered and that dresses must be at least knee length. I consider that to be acceptable. In general terms, one should dress appropriately for an occasion and skimpy tops and mini skirts are not, in my view, appropriate for church or a religious setting. I think must civilized people would agree with that. Note that men are not permitted to wear vest tops or shorts though the shorts rule may be relaxed in very hot weather. However most men are likely to be wearing Bermuda style shorts, which whilst not exactly elegant, are not 'immodest', just a bit informal.

I too would find wearing Bermuda shorts in any house of worship decidedly tasteless! All the most regrettable result of over-permissiveness:-)
