Nice post from a legendary Polish band.
But after what Vincent has explained on another thread I think that music posts on PF are unfortunately about to die.

That doesn't make legal sense in actual fact. Nobody would be linking to such sites if it were indeedactionable. It's embedding, and is only actionable IF the original material posted to YT is not owned by the poster (films, TV shows, and the like)and linking to a site where the material is licenced is 100 percent legal. It's simply Vincent protecting the forum - which is his job so to do, even if he doesn't understand the copyright laws

It will make PF more boring of course - or does, because Polish music is part of the culture, and no action can come through embedding single music videos here - if they broke DMCA rules, they would be taken down from YT anyway.

All completely needless, but like I say, it's Vincent playing it safe.It could be also because he's concerned about Google Adsense action. He shouldn't be, but it is what it is.

Anyway, why would such forums as Steve Hoffman allow embedded video, if subject to copyright action? Unless there is a licence fee payable?

As you well know, you and I rarely agree.
And though this is not really my music of choice.
I will agree that it is quite pleasant and relaxing.
Something that we need in these awkward times.

My music of choice is metal, postpunk and powerful rock. But you can`t listen to them all the time coz it is too overwhelming.

I won't be around too often Milo, I have very little interest in reading boring repetitive sh!te by the same old lunatics.

You have always struck me as being one of the few normal and sane voices on PF but the lunatics got to you in the end, as they did with me, there is only so much b###$hit and b##locks that you can take.


I do tend to like my music hard and heavy, but unlike some of the macho tw#ts on PF I am not afraid to admitting to a gentler side too.

I listen to Soul, Funk, Jazz, Reggae, World Music as well as my Blues, Hard Rock and Metal.
I loved all your posts..... how could I not?
