I have to say, I hated all her music, she couldn't sing and the music was £rap!
HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT? :)) Patti Smith was one of the pioneers of Punk Rock, and she is really intelligent which is a rarity in the music business (I talked to her backstage once, very interesting woman). Forget Sex Pistols, the Damned, U.K. Subs, and all the others -- Patti Smith is the real deal...
When I saw your post I felt compelled to post more Rammstein videos. I stopped going to live music gigs many years ago because I had seen most of the bands I wanted to see live. But then Rammstein came along!With their great music and live shows.....And if they ever play Wembley again,I will be there, with my son!!
I thought I would avoid their well known songs, as you did, but then I thought, do PF readers really know Rammstein?I thought no.
So here are a few of their classics......
Rammstein look like and come across as a bunch of extreme right wingers, when they are in fact, the opposite, warning against fascism and totalarianism. I am very curious about what Bratwurst Boy thinks of them,over to you BB.......
This song is perhaps their most anti totalitarianism song.
I saved the best till last.......
@crow
I have loved much German music, from Accept to the Scorpions and now Rammstein, but German rock bands £rap on the Serbian ones!!!!
Watch the Rammstein concert from Madison Square Garden. They rented the venue themselves because no promoter was willing to take the risk. The concert sold out in 20 minutes. Here's the opening song. Unfortunately, the official version is missing the first 20 seconds when the band comes on stage:

Totally superb!Even down to the light in his mouth!!!LOL!!! I have seen Metallica live and they were superb but I think Rammstein will be better......
@Crow
Even though I am not a huge fan of Dance music I did quite like some of the songs you posted.Better, but must try harder......
OMG, what can I say?This may be a Serbian music festival but there are precious few Serbian artists performing, says it all about Serbian music! John Newman is English. Patrick Mason is half American and half German. The Exploited are Scottish. Burak Yeter is Turkish/Dutch. Joker Out are Slovenian! Where does that leave Serb music?Oh yeah,Nikola Rokvic....... total rubbish!
I ask the question again, previously not answered,is Serbian music all £rap or do you just have poor taste in music?
Exit is international festival. Its not local ethno fest.
I ask the question again, previously not answered,is Serbian music all £rap or do you just have poor taste in music?
You ask again and again because you have logic of a woman. I listen music depending on my mood. Gave you something more even but, you have your womanly comments. So, let me just keep to my mood and avoid trying to sate you.
Actually, I never hear a word being spoken about Serbia at all in Chicago or anywhere else for that matter. The only time I hear about that dump is when you're spreading propaganda about it.
One of my favourite American bands has always been Lynyrd Skynyrd and this song, for me, tells me what they are all about, yes, the line up has changed but I believe that the band's philosophy is the same.
Some of you will see this as a typical "Redneck" song, I see it as a typical American song.I can smell the bourbon and BBQ already........
This song really reminds me of the British band, Free.......Free were first.
And for my last post tonight, this is my all time favourite song from this great band!And I have a vinyl copy of this album!
I am not sure if PF readers will be able to handle this Hard Rockin' psychedelic band from San Diego.I had never heard of them till a couple of days ago until a regular poster posted one song to a music forum that I follow. I think they are amazing!
Earthless claim to be mainly influenced by Japanese psychedelic bands, krautrock and Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath.....
I think that here, they are in full Black Sabbath mode......
The Groundhogs were one of my favourite 70's Rock bands and "Cherry Red" was my favourite songs by them. So, for my last post tonight, this is Earthless doing a cover of that song, and it's pretty good!
