I would personally suggest peaceful German return of the Arkona. It would be honest act and no need for new insults. We can even speak of some money or compensation. Or in the form of energy. I am all for the peaceful deal. No need for the bloodshed.
If it's still that important to the Slavs I'm sure there can be talked about....maybe not right now, as there are so many other conflicts, but surely in the future!
I have to say that by Serbian low standards, those were two of the best videos you have ever posted. The first one sounded a bit Arabic to me, which suggests that maybe Ottoman's influenced Serbs more than Slavs. And the second sounded a bit Greek to me. Neither sounded in any way Slavonic...... so much for your "Serbs are Slavs" rhetoric......you are more connected to the southern Mediterranean and the middle east than to slavdom. So stop posting in threads about Slavs.Serbs are not proper Slavs.
religious? I didn't hear that.... over-sentimental treacly hogwash, yes.....
More appropriate for today are maybe some songs from Ostatnie Rzeczy an album by the musical.... team? group? Polskie Znaki which features updated versions of Polish folk songs around death and funerals...
OMG what a disgustingly sickly over religious song.....
religious? I didn't hear that...
You didn't Notice I directed it to Ms.Atch It was a young lad with a beautiful voice singing about how he loves his country Ireland. The British Yorkshire little yapper needs to grow up and cork his immature diminishing remarks as it is obvious that he doesn't know what he is yapping about.
No offense maf but I thought it sounded like some Satanic ritual music. Maybe some lost soul who is not a Christian would like it however. Definitely not my cup of tea.
Some of you may not be familiar with the band called Rabbitt, they were a South African band fronted by Trevor Rabin who went on to play with Manfred Man's Earthband and Yes.
There are a handful of Blues fans in this forum, but not many Rock fans. So, I thought I would post some more soulful music tonight, starting out with some Dance/Trance music and see how that goes down. Also, relaxing for a Sunday night after a busy weekend!
I am sure that most of you will have never heard of The Future Sound of London, this is a good intro.....
If my first two posts sent you to a relaxed trance like state, this will keep you awake, Faithless with "Insomnia".
I'll end with a white Soul singer that most non Brits will never have heard of,Jimmy Nail has a phenomenal voice!
And "Lift High The Cross", one to sing in the shower.
This is the one that I sing to in the shower Not quite as well as Carrie Underwood in the second verse, however. Hoot ! I hope you like this one Ms. Atch as she sang it for all women.
I'll be singing this in several days time. That and "Out of Africa".
Not homeward bound yet though, we're meeting in a certain Middle Eastern capital and having a weekend there of making whoopee and eating a lot on the way back.
Thanks for the link Johnny. However,............. being the awkward devil that I am, I like to hear it sung in a rousing fashion, with a swing. Here it is played by the Salvation Army (how I miss the Sally Army bands, they don't have them in Poland, not that I know of anyway). Try singing along to the band- enjoy yourself!
I really do wish I could get all the forum members together for a sing-song - raise the roof with song and lift the spirits. There is nothing to beat singing together, it creates great fellowship :)
@Jon, Welsh hymns and the male voice choirs are beautiful, aren't they :)

Most songs in church are toned down three beats and makes them boring to me. I know exactly what you are saying, and you made an excellent point, Ms. Atch. Trust me, I looked for an upbeat u-tube of your song and couldn't find one so I posted that one. You did well in finding one.
