Roasted are better than raw.
Agreed!!!!
You've probably heard this by Neneh Cherry's daughter:
Mabel is not really my kind of music, but she does have a good voice.
Liking the ZZ Top track :)
I love ALL ZZ Top!
How about a ZZ Top Abba mash-up?
Yeah, it's fun!

Anyway, enough chit chat, let's get back to the music.
Leafless Tree are a very good Polish band.
I know I keep coming back to Riverside, probably because I think they are currently Poland's best Rock band.
I'll end my posts tonight with something a bit different. This is Nocny Kochanek, who are a Hard Rock/Heavy Metal band, although you wouldn't think so when this song starts!

Who wants to LIVE in France?
I thought about it for several years but in the end decided to stay in the UK.
I generally don't like Rap Music but French and Even French African Rap sounds pretty good to me.
I liked your video post too.
About 68 million.
Correct.

@Ironside
It's all your fault! You have set me off on some French Music posts!
I just love this guy's voice.......
This song, perhaps more than any other, reminds me of the heart and spirit of France.
This is one from my "Hippy" youth when I spent a lot of time in France and every amateur guitarist could play this tune.
I'll end my posts with another Maxime le Forrestier song from his later years.
@Ironside
I hope you enjoyed these.

N'oublions jamais le génocide Vendéen!
Superb post!
I am glad that you are at last showing your Gallic influence.
It is fairly clear that you live or have lived in France for quite a long time.
How honest are you prepared to be on PF?
Are you Polish and moved to France? Are you French but with Polish parents?
Do you still live in France?
If you are not comfortable answering these questions on PF, please PM me as anyone on here will tell you that I am the master of discretion.

Now those last three post are tolerable "music" that is enjoyable to listen to in my opinion.
That previous noise was unbearable.

You are probably not going to like any of my posts tonight, but this is modern Polish Rock as it is......
I actually quite like this next one, but most of you will hate it.
This is the current state of Polish Rock.......

Did you know that when the first Danish missionaries went to the Inuit in the remotest bits of north-east Greenland, they had to translate a line of the Lord's Prayer as "Give us this day our daily seal" since they had no concept of bread.

since they had no concept of bread.
I've also heard that sometimes missionaries would talk about Jesus as the Seal of God (again... no lambs).
Lots of examples of that. I assume that in East Asia it was sometimes 'give us this day our daily rice'.... Bible translation is a fascinating field and lots of material about how to overcome differences in physical cultures in trying to spread the message.
More Greenlandic music, this time angry rap (sort of)
