As it was in WWII....where is the difference? Good vs Evil anybody?
I'm making the slippery slope argument because, if anything, the last 10 or so years have been proving all the slippery slopes true again and again and again. It's easy to concentrate on the rabid dog (and make no mistake, I would not shed a single tear for Putin if this were his downfall), but 'temporary' and 'crisis' measures taken by governments have a very alarming tendency to become permanent. There's also the matter of precedence, in that once something is introduced for the first time, doing it again becomes much easier, including in situations of smaller necessity.
Banning their advertising revenue and things like this is smart.
As for keeping my priorities straight - RT's (in)ability to do its propaganda does not concern me in the slightest. But the long-term repercussions of the mechanism preventing RT from spreading its propaganda have a likelihood of affecting me in the future.
Idk men, it's something of a shitshow. I don't know what to think of it all anymore, except for the fact that Putin deserves to be knocked over the head with a golf club for doing something so patently retarded and effectively opening this pandora's box.
