Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades

Atch
7 Mar 2022  #3961

Family of civilians killed while trying to use the 'humanitarian' corrdidor.

This war is one of the most unspeakably evil forces to be unleashed in history. The cruelty is simply staggering. There are so many images coming through and I can tell you from a contact in the media that we are not seeing the worst things that have been done to people. It's savagery on the level of Russia in the times of Ivan the Terrible. This is simply monstrous. Children who have cancer dying in rat infested basements ............ a father buries his child, born in January, died from exposure in a subterranean hell a few weeks later, another young father carries the bloodsoaked body of his infant child, killed in shelling. Those are the 'mild' things that we're allowed to see. And still the Admin here gives a voice to those who glory in this carnage.

I have no idea Paulina but you can read it for yourself.

Read my comment on this topic again.

Probably an issue of terminology, for the Russian army 'humanitarian corridor' means 'shooting range'...

That's barbaric... :(((

Meanwhile:

thehill.com/homenews/administration/597056-sending-polish-fighter-jets-to-ukraine-gets-a-green-light-says

"U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Sunday that plans for Poland to send a fighter jets to Ukraine have gotten "the green light" from the U.S."

However... This is what a former GROM special operator has to say about this:

facebook.com/767832330023757/posts/2336982443108730/

(His backround:
silentheroes.pl/ludzie-wojsk-specjalnych-motyl/ )

So... How would it be possible for Polish jets to get into Ukraine without making it an act of war? Ukrainian pilots can't fly from Polish airfields, as far as I understand (an act of war)... So Polish pilots would have to leave those jets on an Ukrainian airfield?

No, they would fly from Polish airfields.

It is no different from Russia firing missiles into Ukraine from Belarus.

None of them have ever witnessed the carnage of war first hand, Atch.
If they had, they certainly would not talk about it at all.

How would it be possible for Polish jets to get into Ukraine without making it an act of war?

The jets could be flown to a third location that's not a member of NATO, maybe Moldova or Romania and the Ukrainians could pick them up from there??

While this soldier is absolutely correct on many of his points, we are reaching a point in time where Poland can no longer just talk about the Russian threat. JK and the gang have been sounding the alarm for years, and now that the alarm is going off, they have to either answer the bell or hit the snooze button.

Russia is already threatening officially to the property being taken in Warsaw. The official response is a veiled threat.

While no one wants another world war, the idea that other countries will not be drug in is not based on clear thinking. Moldova knows they are either next or right behind Lithuania. Thats why they applied for EU membership now. Lithuania is the weakest link in the Baltics and Belarus could get involved there quickly.

All this said, Poland must put up or shut up soon. No way around it. The planes can be brought to the border, and in theory Ukraine could tow them over the border without having any Poles enter Ukraine airspace. Such was a compromise between Churchill and the US if I remember correctly when WW2 was starting and GB needed planes. Maybe a simple idea, maybe not. But the planes need to get there and they likely will. So, it is time to prepare for the just in case scenarios.

They should be showing everything, imho. If not on TV then at least on the internet, so people could decide for themselves whether they want to see it or not.

None of them have ever witnessed the carnage of war first hand, Atch.

I think so too.

The jets could be flown to a third location that's not a member of NATO, maybe Moldova or Romania

Romania is in NATO.
But then that "third location" would be viewed as making an act of war against Russia? What non-NATO country would be insane enough to do that?

It is no different from Russia firing missiles into Ukraine from Belarus.

I know, but in case you haven't noticed - Russians are a bunch hypocrites and so is Putin...
So how does it look like in terms of international law or something?

That's what I'm asking about - how can this be done in such a way, so as for Russia not to be able to accuse Poland of making "an act of war".

Atch... My God... You should write on the forum about what you wrote to me in a private message...

F*ck those Putin trolls, people should know that such barbarity is happening...

And if that's confirmed information that journalist should write about it in an article. They don't have to show photos, it's enough that they write about it.

People have the right to know what's going on in there.

Russia not to be able to accuse Poland of making "an act of war".

Why bother? They will anyway.... the Russian state is profoundly infantile... how would you deal with a cranky four year old (with a machine gun) having a temper tantrum?

Not a journalist Paulina, somebody who has to sort through the images as they come in. Btw your inbox is full!

Why bother? They will anyway....

According to that former GROM guy making your territory available for other forces to attack from is an aggression according to the international law (not only according to Russia).

So, no. If it's to be done, then it should be done in a reasonable way, so Poland would be safe - so Poland/NATO couldn't be a accused of an act of war based on the international law.

mafketis

should be done in a reasonable way

I agree... and Russia will accuse Poland anyway. That's what they do, blame everyone esle for their failures and never themselves....

You'll never believe this, but Putin told Macron that Ukrainians could evacuate through humanitarian corridors to Belarus or Russia!!!

All thats changing here JR. After Bilken was here, they want the new fighters from USA, and will make the deal to somehow get the planes to Ukraine. Likely through Moldova to test how much they really want into the EU now. My guess is in 72 hours or less Ukraine fighting jets will be taking out Russian land forces in big numbers.

Does Ukraine have pilots for these jets???

Paulina

Does Ukraine have pilots for these jets???

Those would be Polish MiG-29. Ukrainians can't fly F-16, I think.

All thats changing here JR.

It doesn't look like it - info from this morning:

gospodarka.dziennik.pl/news/artykuly/8373471,polska-mysliwce-mig-29-ukraina-decyzja-nato-wojna-rosja-wladimir-putin.html

Poland wants this decision to be made on NATO level...

PolAmKrakow
7 Mar 2022  #3981

@Bratwurst Boy
They do. Russian trained on these same MIG's. While old, they are good enough to get the ground forces wiped out pretty quickly before they enter Kiev. My bet is that a deal is secretly done today with the US to backfill the planes and they are in the air before Friday.

@Paulina
NATO will approve the deal if it goes through Moldova. There is no way that the deal doesn't get done, and Poland wants the new technology.

please consider the harm you are doing

Harm? Harm to who? To those who killed civilians, loot, rape all womans in village, and at retreat destroy anything they can to leave survivors without shelter?

While at least one banderist is alive - edge between good and evil is shifted significantly. But if you wish, you can send your daughters to be used by "warriors of light". But, frankly, those who are in Poland and Germany, not need to do anything - there is a lot of larvae of banderists, that in a few years will do the same, but at your land.

And, I tried to translate text, written by a smart man almost 1.5 centuries ago. Looks like it is written yesterday.

"In Europe and before we were little known, even to the point of being surprised that such enlightened nations have so little interest in learning about a people that they hate and are constantly afraid of. This paucity of European knowledge about us and even a certain inability of Europe to understand us in many points - all this in some respects has so far been partly beneficial for us. Therefore, there will be no harm now. Let them cry at home about the "shameful weakness of Russia as a military power," contrary to the testimony of dozens of their own correspondents from the very field of the war, who marveled at the fighting ability, the chivalrous firmness and the highest discipline of the Russian soldier and officer; let them consider the most possible, though significant, errors of the Russian staff at the beginning of the war not only as irreparable, but as organic always defects in our army and nation (forgetting how often we beat them in battles over the whole two hundred years). Let at last the most serious of their political editions inform Europe of the exact truth about the tremendous rebellion of the people, led by the nihilists, at the Vyborg side of Petersburg, and about the two regiments, requested by the Russian command from Dinaburg to save Petersburg - let them say all this in their blind rage. Again, it is even better for us, because they do not know what they do. After all, of course, they would like to arouse hatred for us everywhere "as dangerous opponents of their civilization", - and here they present us in a decadent form, in ridiculous weakness as a military power and as a state organism. But who is so weak and insignificant, can he arouse fear against himself and the coalition? And they just need to turn their society against us. Hence, they speak to their own detriment, and if so, they bring us not harm, but benefit. We will wait for the end.

But to imagine that to them would reach the most complete, exact and true information about all force of spirit, feeling and steadfast belief of Russian people in justness of the great business, for which the sovereign has drawn his sword, and in doubtless triumph of this business, sooner or later? To imagine that Europe finally understood that this war for Russia is the national war in the highest degree, and that our people are not at all a dead and heartless mass, as they always imagined it, but a powerful and conscious of its power organism, united as one person and undivided by heart and will with its army - about what fear and what universal excitement would excite them to this information! And, certainly, it would rather contribute to the real and evident coalition against us in Europe than to slander our weakness and fall which is so pleasant to them. No, let them believe better the revolt at Vyborgskaya side. We can only be encouraged that they believe it."

(Fyodor Dostoevsky, Diary, September 1877)

Interesting thread from former Russain foreign minister on Putin's.... miscalculations....

twitter.com/andreivkozyrev/status/1500610676926005251

money quote: "The Kremlin spent the last 20 years trying to modernize its military. Much of that budget was stolen and spent on mega-yachts in Cyprus. But as a military advisor you cannot report that to the President. So they reported lies to him instead. Potemkin military"

That's surely what it looks like...

Keep holding on to the past. Soon, you will be nothing but a walking corpse of a country. Even your own economists are saying that within a week the 1990's will look like the best of times. By June there is no coming back for Russia. Your Putin is not killing anyone but you. Enjoy. Happy gulag!

And they just need to turn their society against us.

banderist

A PR ploy of Putin and you fell for it, hook, line and sinker......

Putin is all about disinformation. He creates a mess in Eastern Ukraine and then says anything he wants about it (not at all related to anything happening on the ground).

How do you explain the awful state of the Russian army?

Why are do you care so little about the young Russian men whose lives Putin has thrown away like dirty socks (and don't you realize he'll do the same to you if it's convenient)?

Paulina
7 Mar 2022  #3988

Much of that budget was stolen and spent on mega-yachts in Cyprus. But as a military advisor you cannot report that to the President.

Maf, I was wondering about this too... I thought Russia is pumping lots of money into the military... Where is all of that money? It just doesn't show... So, that's my thoughts too... It must've been defrauded...

Velund
7 Mar 2022  #3989

How do you explain

I do not want to explain anything anymore.

Indulge your wet fantasies and keep jerking off on the bruderstaff. You'll be surprised later.

Cojestdocholery
7 Mar 2022  #3990

Where is all of that money?

That part of Russian army that is modernized is not that big and that part that is big is not modernized.

Seems like they sold their fuel and bought booze. Not expecting war, but there is a war and that lost fuel matters.

I wonder if Putin's people who made fortunes doing his will, think about cutting him off and bolt with money.
