Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades

Bobko
9 Mar 2022  #4381

The Ruble has never been and will never be anything close to .50 on the dollar.

It seems poor reading comprehension must be added to your economic illiteracy. Perhaps a weak understanding of mathematics also.

I said "50 rubles to the dollar" which would "represent a 300% growth". Just to chew it out for you, in case you choke on the math again - that is two cents, not 50 cents.

Why would Poland yesterday volunteer to send all of its fighter to Germany to be re flagged and sent to Ukraine?

Because Ukraine needs them ASAP?

And not all of them - only MIGs.

I'd be far more worried about this at the moment:

rte.ie/news/ukraine/2022/0309/1285251-chernobyl-ukraine/

Power has been entirely cut to the Chernobyl power plant, site of the world's worst nuclear disaster in 1986, and its security systems, Ukraine's energy operator Ukrenergo has said.

More than 200 technical staff and guards remain trapped at the site, working 13 days straight since the Russian takeover.

The UN agency called on Russia to allow workers to rotate because rest and regular shifts were crucial to the site's safety.

if i can recommend an entertaining distraction from the horrors of war, The Kings Man (2021). Ignore the bad guardian reviews, it has everything , the english concentration camps, the start of ww1, mortal kombat version of rasputin, the russians , gen kitchner, how the royal families are linked in europe, how a son needs to fight , how to be a gentleman and pretty much what this thread is about.

@amiga500 lol

What if Chernobyl nuclear plant explodes and people in Ukraine and Russian soldiers are going to turn into zombies? :/ First pandemic, then inflation, the second season of Witcher, war... and then this... zombie invasion... What else can happen...? A meteorite hitting the Earth? lol

*sigh*

Things ain't looking good for Ukraine...

(red areas under Russian control)... Slava Rossiya!

:)

That cauldron the Russians are creating in the east will trap and (if they refuse to surrender) destroy a huge chunk of the Kiev military.

Let's hope the Russians put a stop to that real quick.

I also hope Germany refusing to go along with banning Russian oil and gas will be the start of the implosion of the EU and NATO.

I've read that they're also being tortured in order to make them support Russian propaganda :/

The US was shocked

Thank you!

Why would Poland

Look you get the end of an argument. Look how it started.

@Bobko
You have no clue how macro or micro economics works. BTW I have been trading currencies for close to three decades you little mental midget. Don't you have another Russian pig to warm up with?

@Cojestdocholery
It started with Poland coming up with the idea to give migs to Ukraine when Ukraine said they needed more air support. It was not a NATO or US idea. Go back to the beginning and read everything. The US said they approved and wouldnt stand in the way, until Poland wanted the new planes from the US. Then Poland blind sided the US last night with the idea of sending the planes to a US base in Germany. Again a NATO ally, if anyone is stabbbing anyone in the back it was Poland trying to force the hand of NATO and the US to give them new technology even when its not available. Those are facts, and that is the time line.

@Crnogorac3
Too bad that American isn't Novi, he will be killed too, and one less Russian sympathizer is a good kill no matter where they are from.

Because Ukraine needs them ASAP?

Biden just put a stop to that. Its only because hes afraid of Putin and has no backbone. He has been on the wrong side of every political decision of his entire career.

Putins army is a clown show and if he were actually stupid enough to attack NATO it would be over quickly.

This is from a kindergarten in a recently liberated part of the Ukraine:

This is so disgustingly cynical. Ukrainian children are killed by Russian bombs and many more will carry a life-long trauma by the experience of this war. Having to leave their homes, sleep in subway stations and bombs, losing loved ones and allt he other horrible pictures. But hey, at least they will be saved from learning that LBGTQ are normal people just like everyone else so it is all worth it right?

Wow, look at this video - Ukrainians are really angry at Russians (who can blame them...) - I think the protestors are yelling "Shame! Shame!":

mobile.twitter.com/Mylovanov/status/1501437172502642690?cxt=HHwWhICy-ejJltYpAAAA

"Video: Kherson - the only regional capital that has fallen. Ukrainian crowd of protestors gets angry after Russian troop start beating up a protestor. Russians open fire (in the air) and that does not stop but mobilize protestors. Pure anger and no fear"

This is so disgustingly cynical. Ukrainian children are killed by Russian bombs and many more will carry a life-long trauma

The Putinazis here are really revolting and... I don't know... just inhuman...

Please visit Krakow some day, I will gladly give you your last cigarette too. All you little soft Russian keyboard gangsters. Really crack me up. If you had a mental picture you would not be going to sleep with that image in your head.

@Joker
Exactly right. Putin has already said publicly that Russia is no match for NATO. He won't attack NATO and knows NATO is a defensive mechanism for members only. Thats why Moldova would be next if he were successful in Ukraine. But now, he needs a way out before he is done himself.

They want new ones from the US and tried to pressure them to do it.

Good. The Polish Air Force has been of serious rejuvenation since we joined NATO. We need the latest F-22, F-15E and latest models F-16/ And we need to send our surplus and hidden Mig-29s plus all other russian fighters jets to Ukraine. ASAP. With Polish or Ukr pilots it does not really matter. /we do not need official NATO approval. keep it under the radar.

Did you move to Krakow because your forex astrologer told you the turtle bones suggest it's a good omen?

It started with Poland coming up with the idea to give migs to Ukraine when Ukraine said they needed more air support.

According to this article it was an American idea:

I moved to Krakow for a number of reasons, I stay in Krakow and would stay in Krakow if any Russian wanted to come, and I would pick them off one by one. I unlike you and the other trolls, am not only willing, but able to meet in the street. Please let me know your travel arrangements when you make them.

@amiga500
Agreed. The problem, as publicly discussed, is there is not enough US surplus fighter to back fill Poland's needs. The idea was floated of taking them from the national guard's but then they will be depleted. There were some minor technical issues as well. But the idea of sending them to the US base in Germany was simply retarded and worse so by making it a public idea. Ground transport to Ukraine, or fly them to Moldova and then Ukraine can go pick them up. That is the only way possible. Then you still have the depletion of Poland's air defense. But, those Patriot missile systems may be what can make up for planes. Maybe a few more of those and planes just appear in Ukraine somehow.

wiadomosci.wp.pl/wojna-w-ukrainie-i-zamieszanie-wokol-migow-29-oto-bilans-zyskow-i-strat-6745375150135904a

Thank you. And if you read, the idea was from American Senators. Not from the military. Not from the President. Not from anyone in control of anything. Senators also praised Putin. So please dont buy into the BS story line that anyone in a decision making capacity in the US even made this suggestion.

9 Mar 2022  #4399

Hey, Novichok, I got to hand it to you, man...Your idea to get the fu*ck out back in 1966 was beyond brilliant! Let them all die...a-holes...

Joker
9 Mar 2022  #4400

Putin has already said publicly that Russia is no match for NATO

I cant understand why Poland/US would announce to the world about giving Ukraine the Migs? Whatever happened to being covert? They could of had these jets already if they just kept their mouths shut.

Fortunately, the Russian Army has been exposed as a unorganized mess and losing the battle at this point.

It shouldn't be long before someone in Putins inner circle takes him out........

Paulina
9 Mar 2022  #4401

And if you read, the idea was from American Senators.

If you read further it says that:

"O propozycji przekazania MiG-ów pierwszy raz usłyszeliśmy na początku marca, kiedy "The Wall Street Jorunal" i "The Financial Times" doniosły, że rząd USA rozważa trójstronną umowę z posiadaczami tego typu maszyn w państwach NATO. W jej ramach członkowie sojuszu mieliby oddać swoje MiG-i Ukrainie, a Amerykanie przekazaliby sojusznikom wielozadaniowe samoloty F-16."

So, according to this article "The Wall Street Jorunal" and "The Financial Times" claimed that the American government is considering such a move... and not just American senators?

I cant understand why Poland/US would announce to the world about giving Ukraine the Migs? Whatever happened to being covert?

Yeah... I'm wondering about this too...

Because they say NATO is not a side in this conflict? Well, Poland isn't a side either.

It may be that this is a way to publicly ease disagreements within NATO--it's important that NATO shows a united and cohesive front. This idea of sending planes to Uke should never have made it into the public arena.

, I honestly doubt that Putin would drop a nuke anywhere just because NATO

Doesn't have to be nukes. The point is NATO cannot get drawn into a hot war.

PolAmKrakow
9 Mar 2022  #4403

@Paulina
The WSJ and NYT have zero say or impact in any military aid. So that is only them repeating what these un named senators allegedly said. Unless it comes from the President, Secretary of State, of the NSA, it means nothing. Thats the only fact that matters.

ut

Great point, and I have said the same thing. All Poland or the US had to do was not comment publicly. But apparently some idiot senators wanting to tout a brilliant idea decided to say something. Which means they are not in on the senate intelligence.

Paulina
9 Mar 2022  #4404

@PolAmKrakow, I haven't seen those articles, so I don't know what was written there exactly...

The point is NATO cannot get drawn into a hot war.

I get that, but... At the beginning of March Ukraine bought some more of Turkish Bayraktar drones... Those drones are an offensive weapon and Turkey is a member of NATO... So what makes those drones different from jets? The fact that jets have to take off from somewhere? Is that it?

AntV
9 Mar 2022  #4405

we need to send our surplus and hidden Mig-29s plus all other russian fighters jets to Ukraine. ASAP.

Not smart. Do you think NATO or Poland should become involved with combat operations? How far are you willing to go to defeat Putin's attempt to control Ukraine?

What's becoming a little concerning is some of the growing talk coming from the West--no-fly zones, offensive weapon deliveries, NATO and EU membership for Ukraine. What's happening in Ukraine is frightening, frustrating and heartbreaking , but the West has to think with its mind, not its bleeding heart--as tough as that is.

talk coming from the West--no-fly zones, offensive weapon deliveries, NATO and EU membership for Ukraine.

It's been already said that no-fly zones and NATO membership for Ukraine at this moment are out of the question... And I've read today that the Netherlands don't agree to Ukraine joining the EU...

Called "Rules of Engagement".

Meaning? Isn't a drone an offensive weapon?

Remember Vietnam ?

I'm afraid I wasn't alive back then lol And there was no drones then either... 🤔

Novichok
9 Mar 2022  #4408

So what makes those drones different from jets?

Don't you know that in the US behind every general there are ten lawyers and thousand rules he must obey?
And that bodycams are not to collect the evidence on the evil enemy but on the non-compliant Americans so that they can be charged later?

AntV
9 Mar 2022  #4409

at this moment

That's the operative phrase--problem, IMO, is the moment may come.

To your other question about the jets, I believe it is a matter of the source of a threat, in this case, that'd be Poland. . Think in terms of the US attacking Afghanistan--we went in there because the source of the 9/11 attack was there. But, I'm not an expert in this and someone may need to correct me.

Paulina
9 Mar 2022  #4410

And I've read today that the Netherlands don't agree to Ukraine joining the EU...

Sorry, it's not that they don't agree, it's just that they don't particularly support it and that Ukraine can become a candidate state, but it's a long process, etc. etc.
