Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades

GefreiterKania

all the Poles of this forum so happy and energized

I think you are confusing happiness with righteous indignation.

However, if maybe (just maybe), there is a certain measure, really just a slight hint, of happiness in us, it is only the same feeling that all decent people get when evil is defeated. Do you remember when you were a child and your mother read to you how Гензель и Гретель killed the evil witch? Or when you watched Смурфики on TV - do you remember how happy all the children were when evil Гаргамель once again failed to implement his "final solution to the Smurf problem"?

We are all a little bit like small children sometimes - happy when evil loses. :)

this was a war that was ultimately predicated on a false premise

I agree the current Russian invasion against the free and sovereign country of Ukraine is predicated on a false premise.

the Middle East

I was against the US getting involved in both Afghanistan and Iraq. I knew both would be slow rolling clusterfvkk disasters. Just because the US did something wrong doesn't mean I have to support Russia doing something wrong.

And don't Russians ever get tired of playing the "А у вас негров линчуют" card? Is it the only one in your deck?

More good news on the "oligarch front" - Italy seized Andrey Melnichenko's mega yacht worth about EUR 530 million ($578 million)...

ukrinform.net/rubric-economy/3427231-italy-seizes-578m-mega-yacht-owned-by-russian-oligarch.html

... meanwhile, in the fields of Ukraine, young Russian soldiers are still dying for the yachts, Lamborghinis and hookers of Putin's oligarchs.

@Bobko
One war does not justify another. Lets not forget the US was attacked in 2001, you might remember the WTC attacks? While I completely agree, the Afghan war war way too long, it was completely justified after 9/11.

Russia, as a nation has always been seen globally as an evil and repressive nation. So, when you see happiness for Russian's being killed it is likely decades long built up frustration at the Russian people for accepting this tyrannical government. The Russian "attitude" that most Poles and US people have experienced in person is also one that leaves us thinking that your demise is deserved. Wealthy Russians have treated Poles like $hi* in public and I have seen it first hand.

Your country has produced nothing. You deliver nothing the world needs. Oil will be replaced in the long run. Your standard of living will return to the 1980's in less than 3 weeks when your country defaults on its debt. And if you think when the war ends that the sanctions will end, you are retarded. Now, the world, wants to see Russia on its knees. Most want Putin dead, and until he is, you are a nation essentially alone.

So you are against the freedom of another nation to elect its own government and leaders that suit it best without unnecessary advices from abroad?

Quod licet Iovi, non licet bovi.

Because for all its problems, the West is still miles better than that corrupt sh*ithole Putin has built.
Oh he is being defensive against very aggressive NATO? Did NATO invade all the countries that wanted to join them? No, those countries wanted to do it on their own, just like Ukraine.

So if a sovereign country like Ukraine has driven out Putin's puppet government and has democratically voted in multiple anti-Putin leaders, who the fu*ck is he to tell them what to do and what not to do? To think he has some kind of casus belli in this case is plain retardation. He can play the same games all countries play, try to install friendly government via strategy, intelligence, subterfuge, etc, but when you have to bomb a country into rubble to do it, you've crossed all the fu*cking lines.

NATO promised "no one inch eastwards" when re-unification of Germany was discussed. So, you can look at this operation as starting move to let gentleman know that he must keep their word. In addition, unfinished civil war of 1940's between banderists from Galicia/Volyn and the rest of russian/ukrainian people should be finally completed. If Poland wish to join those who enjoyed Volyn Massacre - it's your choice, don't cry later.

And even Western name that is equalized to core of Europoids, giving of European civilization,.. is stolen from Slavs that are sole peoples in Europe in continuity with oldest roots of Europe that gave birth to West.

And when they come - they will not rely on the Jesuit agreement you signed, that supposedly justify your actions. They are not worth the paper it is written. @Velund
Lets look at the facts. Putin was not elected. He was designated successor to Yeltsin, by the alcoholic Yeltsin who was probably drunk when he did it. He only kept the office because he blew up apartment buildings under the guise of terrorism. Not one election has been seen as being "free". Maybe Nalvany rings a bell for name recognition. Putin, like many Russian dictators before him rules by fear and murder.

This matters little now. Now we are talking about Ukraine, and the Ukraine war waged by Russia on a free nation simply because of Putin and Russian paranoia. No matter what, your country has already lost. Russia can not simply based on numbers occupy Ukraine and control it. It will not happen, Putin knows this, so he will try to destroy it. Then when eventually he gets Crimea, and he will, he will walk back on the "republics" he has recognized and let them fall or stand on their own. Ukraine will rebuild, and in ten years they will be in the EU along with Georgia and Moldova. Finland and Sweden will join NATO and every Putin paranoid fantasy will have come true because of his actions an initiative.

You obviously have not traveled much to get a real impression of what the world thinks of Russia. If you had, you would have found another job instead of trolling.

So, you can look at this operation as starting move to let gentleman know that he must keep their word.

So you're invading your neighbour, murdering innocent people and destroying cities, towns and villages in Ukraine in order to "teach NATO a lesson"? Even though Ukraine isn't in NATO? Do you even realise how stupid, evil and psychotic you sound?

In addition, unfinished civil war of 1940's between banderists from Galicia/Volyn and the rest of russian/ukrainian people should be finally completed.

That was decades ago and most of those people passed away already, you f*cked up psycho.

If Poland wish to join those who enjoyed Volyn Massacre - it's your choice, don't cry later.

It's hilarious that the Russians that I discussed with were accusing Poles of living in the past! There is no limit to Russian hypocrisy, it seems. Those who "enjoyed Volyn Massacre" are dead already. Get a reality check.

If true, and probably is, then maybe Russia should have anticipated this before invading. You know, like thinking things through and having a plan. But three weeks into the invasion and war on mostly civilians, Russia has no plan, and they are losing. On top of losing, they have no exit strategy. This is what being an idiot looks like. Need a mirror?

Velund
12 Mar 2022  #4848

So you're invading your neighbour

The intervention took place a few days before the punitive action to seize Donetsk and Luhansk by force - this has already been confirmed by the captured orders from the Ukrainian army and the National Guard. So the psychosis that was whipped up by Western countries on the eve of the events was to divert attention. A country that is waiting for an attack is covering key facilities and strategically important cities with troops - Ukraine instead gathered 150,000+ troops near Donetsk and began mass unloading of ammunition on artillery positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Doesn't it seem strange?

For 8 years, Russia tried to force Kyiv to comply with the Minsk agreements, no reaction. So now the issue will be resolved relatively tough. Not as harshly as the United States decided in Iraq, yet people in Ukraine are close, albeit brainwashed, but without unnecessary sentimentality towards those who wanted to fight. For 8 years they shouted that there was a war with Russia - now Russia has finally come to this war.

But basically, this is not a war with Ukraine - this is a war with NATO, which uses Ukrainians as a proxy, cannon fodder, which is not a pity. You can pump them up with weapons whose warranty period of storage ends, but no one is going to feel sorry for them. Kamalla Harris even laughed out loud at the question about the refugees. She was almost as funny as the German chancellor on the issue of the genocide in Donbass. Keep laughing...

So you can safely think that it is convenient for you and continue to live in your illusory world, drawn by MSM. There, the boundary between good and evil is so clearly drawn that it is not necessary to think at all. Just don't be intimidated by seeing bills in the coming months. One of today's news sounded like this - "The Foreign Ministry announced Russia's readiness for a tough confrontation with the European Union in the energy sector." Russia has been earning a reputation as a reliable supplier for decades, but when there are claims of "all-out economic war with Russia" - Russia will respond with all-out economic war if necessary.

And now we have to get explanations what dozens of American biological laboratories in Eastern Europe and Central Asia were actually doing. Hushing up the question will not work.

And there is enough Russian blood on the hand of bandera prayers to simply forget. Sons of UPA/UNSO veterans was quiet, but grandsons was grown on a hate ideology, thinked that their time come, and now have to be exterminated.

That is your Russia today. Car prices jumped 15% in one week. 1 million new unemployed added to an already high unemployment rate. Prices on all western goods have sky rocketed. And you think we GAF about a little more at the gas pump, or heating bills? Not a chance. The only economic weapon Russia had was oil and gas, and you already lost that weapon.

Again, the USA and Canada are already canceling government contracts with farmers to keep them from planting wheat, and they will now plant more wheat so Russian wheat is not a loss. Green energy plans will be accelerated. People will drive less. Thats just it. Russia has nothing else.

Back to the 1970's and 80's you will go. And its already happening. It will get a lot worse with inflation topping 20% by April. Coupled with Russian insolvency and failure to pay debt. it is Russia that needs to be worried about seizures of property abroad to satisfy debt. Oligarchs will soon find that simple seizures will into forfeitures. The whole corrupt Russian economic system will be decimated and poof, all those billions will just disappear. Thats how we deal with POS in the west.

2 weeks pased, panic is still there. Let's look in 3 months once again.

canceling government contracts with farmers to keep them from planting wheat

Contracts to keep farmers from planting wheat require nothing other than piece of paper. Try to restore wheat production with limited fertilizers supply and with current fuel prices. Let's see how it will work.

Sorry, but I call bollox on that. Do you seriously want us to believe that Ukraine would start an invasion of separatist republics with 200,000 Russian soldiers stationed all around their borders? Do you remember how you lied that they were just on maneouvers or stationed permanently? How your ministers and diplomats lied through their teeth? When you lie once, twice and for the 100th time, then comes the moment when people stop believing in anything you say.

the boundary between good and evil is so clearly drawn

Here I can agree with you 100%. Rarely in history has the boundary between good and evil been drawn so clearly.

And now we have to get explanations what dozens of American biological laboratories in Eastern Europe and Central Asia were actually doing.

This is actually a valid question. Americans themselves admitted that such laboratories exist. It would be nice if we heard some honest information about them.

A couple of questions for you, Velund, coming from a person who once had a lot of sympathy and warm feelings for Russia, before being totally disillusioned: why, with all the riches, high level of exact science (Russian mathematicians and physicians are one of the best in the world) and engineering, vast territory with all sorts of natural resources imaginable, Russia cannot be a stable, friendly and relatively wealthy country (I don't mean those oligarch bastards, but ordinary Russians, not only in Moscow or St. Petersburg)? Why on earth cannot you concentrate on 17,130,000 km² of your own territory and try to make it look more like 41,285 km2 of Swiss territory, for example? Don't you think that you have enough work for 1000 years on your own land without invading others?

You are safe (because of all your nukes), so you could work honestly and hard to make your country a better and richer place in peace and quiet why didn't you take the chance to do it? Why on earth do you have to insist on playing this silly imperial game that you can never win? Why do you tolerate the thieving "elites" who treat ordinary Russians as bydło and cannon fodder? Why don't you want to live like normal people? Is this some sort of collective masochism? I just don't get it.

I would really like some honest answers to those questions. I wouldn't hold my breath though...

P.S. And I would really love an answer that wouldn't include the eternal and immortal "America does it too" argument. :-/

Clearly you know little about farming in North America. Government provides extra grant funding to cover increased costs, and fertilizers for wheat are minimal. The timing of the Russian invasion and war in Ukraine actually makes it easier since spring tilling season has not begun yet. Very easy to plant this year. So maybe we pay a little more for bread, again, it wont bother us. You are aware that the "gluten free" diet movement is extremely popular in North America I presume, further reducing the wheat demand. Unlike Europe and Russia, bread is not a huge part of the North American diet. So, the NA wheat can be exported to those countries effected, again boosting the GDP of our countries while depleting yours.

An economic war with the west can not be won by Russia, not even a battle. Putin knows this thats why he is freezing exports of everything. Thats why he has limited the amount of foreign currency even the wealthy can withdraw. Moscow will once again become the center of the black market and criminal activity will thrive.

GefreiterKania

Moscow will once again become the center of the black market and criminal activity will thrive.

In a country that, logically, should be peaceful, steadily developing and ever more wealthy. Mind boggles. :-/

I think communism is to blame: first of all it destroyed the faith in God and morals (hence the exorbitant abortion, divorce and HIV prevalence rates), secondly it destroyed the work ethics - people assume that they must steal to get rich and tolerate stealing on galactic proportions (see Russian politicians and oligarchs), and last but not the least it installed in people's brains the idea that Russia must be a great superpower on level par with the US. Communism is officially over, but the destruction it left behind it in people's hearts and souls is still very much real.
