I remember very well that 7-10 days ago, the Ukrainians announced that 70 soldiers had been killed in a rocket attack on a radar center or some other object. That news was forgotten within an instant and this is now being announced with all the bells ringing. It will be that there were the least Ukrainians in that camp.

Regarding this American volunteer, he must have come for free. Well, son, it didn't go that way during the Spanish civil war or against Hitler. If you already want to give your life for the cause, then go ahead and without whining on Twitter about how the Russians are returning fire. I think the United States is a great country, with a tragically dysfunctional relationship with Russia. If the US and Russia could get along, and when they did get along - sky is the limit. No need for Euros! As some famous lady said, Europe is a product of history, and America a product of philosophy. In this same way, Russia is of Europe and without. If the Americans had the Cowboys and Manifest Destiny, then Russia had the Cossacks and the race to the Pacific. The availability of an infinite frontier shaped the outlook of both peoples. Both countries mentalities are defined by this enormous size, and feeling of a special mission in the world. Both countries are historically mistrusted by Europe as some less civilized cousin.
