Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades

Paulina

You said you watched it all and didn't hear booing;

Not all, just the fragment when the speech was cut off.

Audio and video feeds usually have a 10 second delay precisely so they can cut off the feed if there are problems like booing

But there was also no booing in the video made by someone in the audience (I posted a link to that video in my comment). Did you watch it?

I really hoped Europe were over it.....

So did I... :(

Not all, just the fragment when the speech was cut off.

I saw that one too. It looked suspicious.

But there was also no booing in the video made by someone in the audience

If the audience member wasn't using professional sound recording equipment, there's a very strong chance that they wouldn't pick up people booing from a different part of the auditorium.

The Russia state lies so much right now that it's reasonable to assume the opposite pretty well anything that Kremlin spokespeople come out with. They lie far more often than they tell the truth.

Some of the footage from yesterday's TV broadcast of the #Luzhniki concert strikingly matched a video from a year ago.

Look at that:

Poland has already taken a step with the parliament approving a law offering people 40 zlotys per day for each refugee they give shelter to.
It's part of a new legislative package that also offers some financial help and health insurance to the Ukrainians.
They are finding out in France that 30% of the refugee's that are coming in are economic immigrants from other countries other than Ukraine.
What has this world come to ?

@Paulina
Have a look at this relating to Putler's rally that we were discussing. Do you think it's a credible theory?

It claims to show a clip from the footage of the rally and a clio from a concert around a year ago. It looks like Putin's stooges spliced some old footage into the cpvbersge of the rally. It makes you wonder what they did to the audio and what other trickery was involved.

What has this world come to ?

Well, modern medicine and bleeding hearts have made it over populated.. That's the main problem. One place that's not overpopulated = Ukraine. Good people dying because they simply want to be sovereign. This has to be remedied.

Mans inhumanity to man.

Isn't this a modern European mindset though - It's a foregone conclusion? Cosmic fate? No. That's defeatist.

Now that was an interesting photo. I find it hard to believe that they were able to get 200K to this "rally" and pull it off without some problems. It is Russia being Russia and trying to fool the world.

@johnny reb
I can say that based on what I am seeing here, there is not even 1% of these refugee's that are from countries other than Ukraine. There are some people of color, but maybe it is one in a few thousand. In Krakow, there are some people of color, but not many and there is no noticeable rise in that demographic.

There already was a very large Ukraine community here. Near Galleria Kazimierz there is a huge development full of wealthy Ukraine people, and that has only become more crowded. I have not noticed any "trouble" at all. We are talking about women and children. Some teen boys but not many. Everyone looks to be settling in with things and getting along well considering why they are here.

some fake news ...supposed to turn Poles against Ukrainian people... it didn't work

Way to ruin Vlad1234's day, Paulina... now he'll just have to work that much harder....

unresolved historical issues relating to the official condemnation of the events

...Poland has some of those too.....

I think ideas like "let the past be the past (and not the future)" and "let's look ahead rather than backward" would do this part of the world.... a lot more good than harm.

So if these Syrians come I wonder what they have been told ?

That after a few weeks fighting they will get an EU passport ?
That the local women will welcome them ?

Im sure they will be in a state of mutiny after a few weeks - for sure they will take heavy losses. Russia is already throwing all of its ethnic minorities at the problem.

GefreiterKania

Syrians

They will be canon fodder. This is European war and they are throwing Arabs into this hell? Ridiculous. Throwing Arabs into a European war is like throwing a bunch of six-year-old girls into an ustawka between Arka and Lechia hooligans.

Russia is already throwing all of its ethnic minorities at the problem

Interia claims that in Donetsk 65-year-olds are being mobilised...

...if it's true, they must be getting desperate.

I've found a video in which you can hear some whistling during Putin's speech (4:07), not much though and not during that moment when the speech was cut off:

fb.watch/bSENOPW_Rk/

Who knows though, maybe those whistles were enough for them to decide to cut it off just in case, but I have no way of knowing that.

a clio from a concert around a year ago. It looks like Putin's stooges spliced some old footage into the cpvbersge of the rally.

Yes! Those are the same two girls and a woman in the back, dressed in the same way on both videos! LOL This is so lame xD And that video from 2022 is published on an official state YouTube channel so it's an official footage lol I wouldn't be surprised if more such older footage was montaged into the video of the 2022 concert. I've also noticed something that looked like two slight "Matrix glitches" (but visible enough).

P.S. Anyone else having problems with accessing "Dyrdymałki"? I keep getting "You need to login to read this discussion" message, even when I'm logged in.

I disagree, if you want to be a good social historian, you have to be a good human being, and marx was definitely not that, he was a presumptuous k*nt and coward, that's why i don't pay attention to whateva he wrote.

jon357

They will be canon fodder.

Yes. This war is already a meat grinder for the Russians. There's also a suggestion that they'll be mass desertions by the Syrians who would sensibly prefer to apply for asylum in Europe than burn to death screaming and covered in white phosphorus.

There's another issue involving the Syrians (and Russian mercenary goons employed elsewhere) in that they have been heavily deployed (via one well enough known Russian 'private security' company) in certain countries in Africa (I can think of three). All of those countries are engaged in confilct, in each case a there is a simmering civil war and the balance between further bloodshed and stability is a very very thin line maintained in large part by those mercenaries.

Since Putler started preparing for his illegal war, that 'private security' company have been slowly and steadily removing staff (basically they rotate out when their stint ends and don't rotate back after their leave). This is already causing a lot of worry in the region involved due to the lack of mercenaries to keep the (very delicate) peace there. We can unfortunately expect further conflict because of this.

I've also noticed something that looked like two slight "Matrix glitches" (but visible enough).

There are some seriously weird things going on in Russia. At least there's material for some interesting books and films when this is eventually all over.

I see many here have great hope in continuation of western European dominance. Of course. While there is dominance then there is rich money flow and prolongation of Disneyland. With money there is also soft power, a great feeling. So little fingers hurry to express the hope.

But no. Disneyland has fallen never to come back. I got first hand info that edible oil reached price of 8 eur in Germany. 8 eur. Factories going down. Gasoline prices goes high.

You people think you can endure it? Take more then ordinary Russians who now see that power of their enemy collapsing?

Welcome to the world of pain.

Yes, check this out:

Thank you.

illegal war,

Exactly - it is illegal. So, maybe Kaczyński is right about the peacekeeping forces? Ukraine is an independent country and they have every right to request international peacekeepers, without it constituting any sort of casus belli against countries sending peace-keeping forces.

So, maybe Kaczyński is right about the peacekeeping forces?

How? fu*k peacekeaping forces, ,Kacynski is just being diplomatic. We need nato east of the dnieper river. pretty simple. Oh wait the west are plastic pussies and it will never happen, they will let ukraine burn to the ground. for what exaclty? stop him now or u think he's gonna stop? the west is going to let the whole of eastern ukraine become like Chechnya. Shame. Fu*king shame, that blood is on their hands.

negative comments on the internet about Wołyń massacre

I don't understand which historical relation do majority of Ukrainians have to those events. I think that entire nation do not suppose to be held responsible for the actions of an extreme factions or groups. And those events took place only localy, in Eastern Poland. But not throughot entire Ukraine. There were such groups among Poles as well who killed Ukrainians, but Ukrainians chose forgiveness and prefer not to mention that.

jon357
20 Mar 2022  #6024

have every right to request international peacekeepers,

They do, and of course the Russians also have a veto at the UN security council. Any UN initiatives need to get around that and I understand that this has been discussed. Remember also that there are things the intelligence services of the big three NATO states know about that you and I don't.

the west is going to let the whole of eastern ukraine become like Chechnya

Not so much the west letting as the east doing.

True. But I thought America was the policeman of the world, oh wait that's all over they just don't realise it yet. When u say the east doing, i hope u know that the whole concept of the EU ie france and germany was to prevent this sh*t? Unless we finally admit the Russians are not european, and we finally kick those mongol savages out of the club? It's about time, they're not welcome anymore.

Crow

Me, too. But US was heavily criticized recently and probably finally decided to let EU`s powers play their democratic role. After all, France and Germany also have right to have mission.

PolAmKrakow

@amiga500
100% true. They are not European. They are mutts. While some have Euro physical traits, those that do are largely from Moscow, Kaliningrad, and in Minsk Belarus. Outside of those areas though, and they definitely begin to look more Asian. These people in general are simply animals. They kill off the intelligent ones or chase them out of the country when they question things. Brain Drain has been happening for over 30 years, and prior to that they would simply kill the smart ones because those in power were intimidated by them.

The Russian way of thinking is not European at all. In general they are the laziest, most dishonest people I have ever dealt with. Bad attitudes, and they blame all their problems on the USA first and EU second. Of course nothing is their own fault.

Russia doesn't even pick up their dead these days. They just leave them for dog food in the streets. On top of killing women and children along with other civilians, they are simply showing the world their mentality. Like a rabid dog, the country needs to be put down.

Vlad1234

I don't think Russian elites will afraid of it too much.

amiga500

The Russian way of thinking is not European at all.

100% agree. let's see what happens, is Putin smart enough to pull back or is he a typical soviet/communist traditionalist and double down? Kissinger and et all were all telling him, make an alliance with Europe to contain China, but i fear it's too late now. He won't back down. So we're facing a a couple of months/years guerrilla warfare. God help us all, Let's hope they the ruskis don't to anymore cities what they did to Mariupol., oh wait they already have and all the small ukr villages that has not been reported that they massacred.

God Damm, I wish Zbigniew, Sir Brezinski was alive today, we need him right now.
