Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades

@Novichok, Zelensky rejected the peace offering? What were the terms? Did the WSJ mention that?

johnny reb
4 Apr 2022  #7442

If they were armed

That tiny word "if" makes your sentence meamingless.

No, Russia did not commit "apparent war crimes"

Yes, Russia did commit war crimes and Putin will be held accountable for them.
The Ukranian people aren't angels however......at least two Russian soldiers have been killed and some 28 sickened by poisoned food provided by Ukrainian civilians, according to a report by government officials. :-)

@johnny reb
In all fairness, I had an ex who poisoned me twice, not deliberately, she was just a terrible cook. ;-D The Russians are criminals, it is just that simple. Putin offering peace terms before the invasion? I dont think so. Z was saying how no invasion was imminent yet the USA was saying it would happen and it did.

Putin is simply now trying to come up with some road to a victory he can claim on May 9th. Though his parade will likely be a lot smaller after so many of his soldiers are killed and equipment destroyed. It is going to be a very long few years of isolation for Russia, possibly decades. Those parades are expensive, and when street vendors cant sell food, because their is none, it can get pretty ugly quickly.

.but to be pro-Putin and being a patriot doesn't fit together.

I don't think that Orban is pro-Putin, he is has a lot to loose if he goes with others. It is not in the interest of his small country to antogonize Putin.

He can afford to have such attitude as Hungary is a small, out of the way and not significtant country.
If Ukraine wins he will be all right if Russia wins he will be all right. He takes oil, gas and know how to build a n atomic power station from Russia.

Russia did not commit "apparent war crimes

The did. I don't need trial you moron to know that. That is the Russian way and they have been doing that since the time we have a contact with them and even before. That would be 500 years. That about 200 years longer than your country existence.

Scholz had offered Volodymyr Zelensky a chance for peace

Okay, let's examine this calmly and rationally....

On whose authority was Scholz acting?

The German Chancellor is now a Russian messenger?

Doesn't this imply that Germany is firmly on the Russian side trying to deal with 'irrational' Ukrainians who don't want their country plundered?

Did he have any kind of official mandate from the Russian government?

Why should this be revealed now?

How can a country by neutral or peaceful with neighbors like this?

Note that no one is making them say things, in Russia it's enough to beg off by saying you're not interested in politics*

*Putin prefers people who are uninterested in politics those who are interested and support him today might not support him tomorrow....

That is so crass....but honest and true! I couldn't have said it any better...

The problem is, BB, it's still happening - Germany is the main country blocking the proper sanctions on Russia. The new proposal by the European Commission actually softens the existing sanctions...

... so it looks like, despite all the words and declarations, the German-led pro-Putinist camp is still very strong in the EU. :( And when it all started it looked like the EU was finally on the right side and united. *sighs*

No, Russia did not commit "apparent war crimes"

So you disagree with Human Rights Watch assessment of Russian crimes in Ukraine? So therefore you'd also disagree with their evidence regarding abuse of Russian POWs by Ukrainians - you'd have to wouldn't you? As you're so objective and fair minded it would hardly make any sense to do otherwise.

according to United States law,

And we're talking about America - yet again. Never mind American law, please stick to the Geneva Convention. And of course you were selective with your quote. You didn't mention (from the link you provided):

Article 5 of the Third Geneva Convention states that the status of detainees whose combatant status is in doubt should be determined by a "competent tribunal". Until such time, they must be treated as prisoners of war.[4]

An individual who is not a lawful combatant, who is not a national of a neutral state, and who is not a national of a co-belligerent state, retains rights and privileges under the Fourth Geneva Convention and must be "treated with humanity and, in case of trial, shall not be deprived of the rights of fair and regular trial".[5]

He doesn't agree or disagree with anything... he's all about causing confustion so that people get tired of the topic (did you watch the Vlad Vexler video I referenced)?

The EU is okay so far, most EU members know what to do......that pro-Putin camp is hurting Germany! We will still pay for our behaviour even when its all long over....

PolAmKrakopw you are full of shet and have been since this thread started. I just watched on onet.pl saying or the polish morawiecki (forgot his title but hes not president duda is) saying how the russian rubble is back where it was before the war as they were able or the russian central bank and finance sector to basically fight off the sanctions or were ready for it. All your talk about shet sandwiches and kaka mouth is just garbage bro. Or whats the word, they were able to withstand the sanctions and prepared adequately for it. now rubble is back to prewar value. quit spouting ur retard USA or western propaganda on here no one care spolamkrakow. Poland isnt USA so there is no reason to spout usa propaganda here. in fact its not even a western country but eastern Europe.

Interesting documentary on the Z here guys:

Go get an education on the financial markets before you open your otherwise Soplica filled mouth. I live in Poland you moron. Unlike you though I am free to travel to the USA. The facts are that there is no foreign trading on the Russian market because the ruble is worth less than one US cent outside of Russia. Russians can not buy food, parts for their cars, or other import good without paying 400% more than they cost only a month ago.

"This is genocide."
That's how Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky described the shocking images of at least 20 civilian men's bodies strewn across the street in Bucha, northwest of the capital of Kyiv, following the withdrawal of Russian forces from the area.

Accounts of alleged Russian atrocities, including the horrific images of dead civilians captured by Agence France-Presse, are emerging as its forces retreat from areas near Kyiv following a failed bid to encircle the capital.

And of course you were selective with your quote. You didn't mention (from the link you provided):

(do you guys believe it?):

Of course. It was always obvious to anyone with any knowledge of Russian practices that they had mass killings in mind.

When has Russia _not_ engaged in mass killings of civilians in military operations?

Bucha is maybe 1 % of the type of operations they had planned.

there's talk that they planned public executions in Kyiv when they thought they could take it over.

I wouldn't put public executions of Ukrainians off the table for the upcoming May 9 "celebrations". Yes, Russia is just that violent and brutish.

PolAmKrakow
4 Apr 2022  #7457

@mafketis
Make no mistake May 9 is the target date. Anything other than a victory celebration of some sort is off the table. I expect massive efforts in Odessa and the costal cities to begin very soon. Massive bombing and killings. Only a month to pull it off or be humiliated in front of your comrade's.

This thing with Bucha and the "killed civilians" irresistibly reminds me of Račak, which was used by (((them))) as a justification for the criminal NATO aggression.

puheenvuoro.uusisuomi.fi/arirusila/229717-a-walker-statue-for-memory-of-racak-massacre-hoax/

They made a media outcry, and then a team of pathologists led by Helena Ranta determined that the bodies were posthumously disguised in civilian clothing, moved, that no one was shot but that these were people who died in battle, but no one reported that in the media. The directors are the same now as then, the same media are pushing the story, everything is the same only that Yugoslavia the criminals could have attacked, and the question is whether they can intervene in this war. I hope that the Anglo-Zionists who are pushing this and their poodles will completely perish, even if the entire Western civilization falls. If people are so stupid that they don't see that the parasite is leading them to death, then they should die.

The Ukrainians can pretty much claim victory in the Battle for Kiev.

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Kyiv_(2022)

A huge setback for Russia and a humiliating defeat. The "mighty" Russian army has yet to take any big city, six weeks after the war started.

Strzelec35
4 Apr 2022  #7461

if youre degree got you so far polIamkrakow how come youre so braindead and dumb? Secondly, how does you and your degree explain why the rubble is back to its prewar value if your sanctions worked so much?

Atch
4 Apr 2022  #7462

Helena Ranta determined that the bodies were posthumously disguised in civilian clothing,

Lies. She said no such thing. Her team concluded that the deaths constituted killings of unarmed civilians. The lead Finnish investigator,Dr. Helena Ranta, called it a "crime against humanity"

@Strzelec35
Get an education on financial markets. I already explained to you the Russian market is frozen to only allow limited trading, within Russia only and no foreign currency trading. So it is essentially only for Russians who already own tons of Russian stock. Once the market "opens" to outside of Russia, the ruble will be valued at .008 cents in the USD market. It is essentially worth half of one sheet of two play toilet paper. If you knew anything about markets and currency you could look it up yourself.

Strzelec35
4 Apr 2022  #7464

Again, you didnt even explain or answer the question and morawiecki certain disagrees with you. The whole polish govt and their economic advisers disagree with you about it being worth .08 or whatever you clwim of the us dollar or that its worthless currency or thwt the sanctions did anything. go listen to his speech for some education. have you even listened to it? it was live a couple hours ago on onet.pl

because the ruble is worth less than one US cent outside of Russia.

The Russian ruble eased in early trade on Monday, heading away from a near five-week high against the dollar it touched last Friday, while the MOEX benchmark stock index climbed higher to levels seen before Russia sent thousands of troops into Ukraine.

At 0707 GMT, the ruble eased 0.2% against the dollar at 84.10, moving away from its strongest level since Feb. 23 of 80.3325 it hit on Friday.
The ruble is expected to stay within a range of 80-90 to the dollar in the next two weeks.

I see Russia are now suggesting a UN meeting to discuss Ukrainian provocation. Note that Russian politicians and media who support this are just as guilty as those who fired into the skulls of civilians.

The USA will ask the UN General Assembly (UNGA) to suspend Russia from the Human Rights Council, Washington's ambassador to the world body has said. Washington's ambassdor to the UN says "Russia's participation on the Human Rights Council is a farce and it is wrong, which is why we believe it is time the UN General Assembly vote to remove them,"
