Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades

The important thing however is russia's invasion of Ukraine and their next step.

So far, the cyberattacks have barely happened. The reason for that could be that they've not tried much or that attack's have been repelled or that the russians simply aren't as good at it as people thought.

Not just from Germany. Countries like Italy, the Czech Republic and Bulgaria are just as dependant on Russian gas, if not more so. Poland also used to import slightly less gas from Russia relative to its' size and will also keep on importing from Russia until the end of the year. And both candidates for the French presidency have made it clear that they won't support a sudden gas boycott. Surely you can explain this too with a view on their dark past... .

In my opinion, this is going to be a very long war AND sad to say, NATO will be drawn into it sooner or later.

The UK have warned of this. It is a vulnerability, more for some countries than others.

The transatlantic cables reach their European destination off the Irish coast. Ireland is the nearest spot for connection between the US and EU, with an incredible volume of internet traffic going through it. There have been Russian submarines off Irish waters trying to map the cables for years now. But apparently it's quite a big naval operation to take out enough cables simultaneously to really cause a massive internet outage and even then it would mostly only affect us ordinary Joes, not military or government communications which would be handled by satellite. At this time it's unlikely that Russia could spare the ships and men needed for such an operation.

It is also an act of war if any country intentionally destroys any of those cables.

The US ability to store nuclear weapons in the UK is to be upgraded with new money for military infrastructure.
biden's 2023 Department of Defense budget request to NATO shows that the military alliance has added the UK to a list of countries receiving $384 million in investments to store "special weapons."

Other countries receiving this funding are Belgium, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and Turkey, where the USA stores an estimated 150 American B-61 nuclear gravity bombs.

I've seen the internet cut twice, once here in Africa when a Chinese trawler 'accidentally' severed a vulnerable country's link to the internet. They were able to restore it to government offices in about a week by borrowing satellite access however it was about a month in total for most users including bank machines. Also when IS invaded Mosul the internet for Basra was cut however the oil camps were able to piggyback onto Iran's satellite scatter however this did cause problems. The U.K., the U.S. and probably Poland all have backup systems so it would be very hard to cut the net off completely.

The U.K. has been warning about vulnerabilities for some time though and have suggested that russia and possibly China have looked at how they could do this.

In other news the Czech Republic just received a diplomatic note form Russia, in which Ruskies claim that it is illegal to supply any Soviet-era military equipment to any country without prior approval from Russia.

IMO this marks an interesting turning point - after making a number of empty threats about how they will take action against the weapon supplies, which in fact flow into Ukraine constantly without any real obstructions, the Ruskies are now seeming to move into the "g-guys pls cease and desist or we sue you" phase. Perhaps it wont be long before they finally reach the acceptance phase and move on, ideally towards surrender.

I hope Russia end this soon and we get nazi Azov defeated.

Scholz (and the whole SPD? the whole German political establishment?) want Russia to win. That's their best outcome they get to keep getting Russian resources and maybe some better refugees than Merkel's lot....

They say some things to hide it and shuffle their feet and do as little as possible that would actually help Ukraine.

The only country that can really depend on German support.... is Russia.

Just ask yourself brate do you want in Ukraine regime that have incorporated nazis? You think such a proxy state wouldn`t be problem for Poland? Don`t delude yourself they would ally with Poland if Russia didn`t intervene. If such an Ukraine continued it would be ally to Germany same as Croatia. If EU with such a nazi Croatia, Ukraine and Baltic states continued, with stronger Germany, Poland would be eaten alive.

Better this way. Slavic interests are above interests of local nation (Ukrainian) that anyway isn`t natural but was created by schemes of papacy and AH. I know, you may say Poland is mostly Catholic and papacy is fine. No, it isn`t fine. Same as Patriarch of Constantinople isn`t fine. They all looks down on Slavs, cooperate against Slavs and side with hostile non-Slavs. And you know that.

So once more, better this way. Sooner is over, the better for local and all Slavs, for Europe, for rest of the world, for lives of ordinary people on this Earth.

Ukrainian intelligence officials claim to have intercepted a call in which a Russian soldier says Putin's troops are shooting their own people in Moscow.

The Security Service of Ukraine released an audio clip of the call yesterday, in which a man's voice can be heard saying Putin's forces have been opening fire on a Russian town of protesters.

The man, a soldier was speaking to his wife on the phone, who's back home in Russia.

But let us presume your news are right. Well, that`s it then. Either Russian gov use nukes sooner then we believed to end war or Russian gov falling and Russia is dissolving. Then, balance of power would be lost and hostile non-Slavs would prevail and overrun Slavic, Eastern European countries and Siberia, pump resources out of them to buy itself time for new technologies and space colonization. End of Slavic history.

But I do believe that God have better plan for Slavs. We were first in space and we shall prevail to be here when humanity enter in new era. No way Drang Nach Osten win.

I don't think it is bad will on the part of the German political class (at least a part of it); it is merely a political miscalculation and appalling lack of knowledge about Russia. They swallowed Dugin's fairytale about dividing Europe into Russian and German spheres of influence. For some reason they believe that deals with Russians are worth more than the paper they were written on. They should ponder on what could possibly stop powerful, imperial Russia - in borders close to former SU - from violating their "spheres of influence" deal with Germany, and think again if allowing Russia to rebuild their power over the dead body of Ukraine (Baltics? Poland?) is a good idea.

Surely, there have to be sensible politicians in Germany who realise all that - will they be smart enough to change their country's long-term goals and policies? Maybe. I think former DDR-born politicians have an important role to play here - their knowledge of what Russia is should be deeper than that of their colleagues from the western part of their country; they should warn them before it's too late.
