Some interesting comments from the Austrian chancellor who met with Putin. He's revealed a bit more of the detail of their conversation and to be honest it sounds as though, reading between the lines, he's saying that Putin has gone doo lally. He says that Putin is lost in his own war logic which I would interpret as 'in a world of his own' or as we'd say in Ireland, he's away with the fairies. The problem is that we, observing the war, are thinking rationally, whereas he isn't. So whatever actions/outcomes one might rationally anticipate, you can discount those.

Nehammer says that he told Putin what he'd seen in Bucha and that Putin said he'll cooperate with any international investigation. To be tried by the ICC, soldiers suspected of war crimes would have to be handed over by Russia. However, we know what a liar he is. Let's wait and see.

IF the US got involved, and just bombed the F out of the Russian positions, it would be over quickly. Obviously there is risk to that, but calculated risks should be taken in times like this. Lets hope the weapons that are arriving now can reach into more Russian territory. Give them some more of what they have been giving Ukraine and I do not believe Russia will have the stomach for all the losses.

Well, it is official now, Germany will not give up on Russian oil. They claim otherwsie it will be recesion for their economy. I knew it that famous German econmy sucess is due to the cheap Russian gas and oil.

It is not only money. The Polish pipeline transports oil also further to the West Europe. You can't stop the pipeline only for Poland.
