Yeah....well.....the big elephant in the room here is that most of the people who made the error (minus Merkel who just doesn't care anymore) are still in office and in power.

As for Germany....Half the country suffers from WW2 guilt, the other half has moved on. Like almost every other country, it is divided. They just announced they will be off Russian oil by the end of the year. Great progress. Now lets work on the NG and bring Russia to their knees financially. Again, a little sacrifice and a little pain next winter will go a long way.
