Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades

mafketis

something stinking is happening behind the scenes.

I tend to think Biden and Putin are back-channeling and this is the equivalent of pro-wrestling trash talk.... and eventually Russia will quietly withdraw (maybe doing something in the areas they've already invaded/wrecked...

Both sides will be able to claim a victory of some sort... win win (except for Ukraine but who cares about them?)

Both sides can claim victory of some sort

Well, as long as a full-scale war so close to Polish borders is avoided, I'm quite happy with your scenario. Besides, the war would surely lead to Putin's downfall and we don't know who would replace him. Better the devil you know, and all that...

This is not going to happen as long as dollar is an international reserve currency.

Wrong, of course. It is impossible to endlessly use national currency as a tool to export inflation. I suspect that saving dollar as US national currency will be funded by plundering foreign holders of US dollar actives. And it will happen soon, so US administration is in urgent need to some distant war to be "appointed" as a reason to problems of the world economy.

US administration is in urgent need to some distant war

OK, let's assume, for the sake of argument, that you are right and it is Biden and his administration pushing towards the war in Ukraine. This raises another question: why is Putin playing right into their hands by gathering 150,000 Russian troops on the attack positions around Ukraine?

Because part of them simply was stationed there permanently, and will stay there for indefinite period of time, in their barracks and officer's permanent appartments (it is not a US troops in Poland, it is Russian troops at home, after the all), and the rest was moved for a maneuvers. Maybe time was chosen also to flex muscle to the public, but how do you plan to prohibit Russia to move their military on their territory?

Because part of them simply was stationed there permanently

Only a small part though.

the rest was moved for a maneuvers.

The maneuvers are finished but they are not withdrawing from the area - on the contrary more and more troops are being moved to the border.

Maybe time was chosen also to flex muscle to the public

There are satellite photos and intelligence information - this time it is more than just flexing muscles; field hospitals are being built and blood supplies transported to them.

how do you plan to prohibit Russia to move their military on their territory?

I don't. However, moving such a big percentage of armed forces on the attack positions close to another country's borders clearly point to aggressive intentions. Meanwhile we are to believe that it's Biden pushing towards the war. It just doesn't make sense.

it is not a US troops in Poland,

US troops are just for the show and harmless. In Afghanistan, when the Taliban said enough, they left.

Or... maybe... Putin and Biden made a deal. Biden needs this war to strengthen both the US economy (even if only by increased arms sales) and NATO by forcing the European members to spend more on defence in face of Russian aggression. Putin needs this war to distract Russian society from the real problems of their country and keep his internal enemies at bay. Hmm... the only loser here, as Mafketis said, would be Ukraine.

Having said that, in the long run Russia would eventually lose on such deal, both economically and politically. Besides, after the invasion Ukraine would be hostile towards Russia for another 100 years, turning into what Poland was for them in the 19th century, a constant source of trouble and uprisings.

Oh, well... I suppose we will have to wait and see how it all ends.

and blood supplies transported to them.

Labels on bottles was also read from satellite? ;) Expiration dates is OK? ;)

I think, Ukraine will be torn apart to a few parts, and western part, known also as Kresy Wschodnie, will go to Poland, turning into what Poland was for Russia in the 19th century, a constant source of trouble and uprisings. ;)

Simple military intelligence work. And yes, expiration dates and blood type are probably known as well. :) We could also tell you what your commanders eat for breakfast and what their wives/girlfriends write in letters to them. ;)

western part, known also as Kresy Wschodnie, will go to Poland

Well, there's one problem with this plan - we don't want them. We have enough relatively poor and less developed regions in Poland to take care of, without annexing backwards Ukrainian terrirories, thank you very much.

when the Taliban said enough, they left.

After losing to a bunch of medieval illiterates who fvkk goats and little boys.... the US is desperate for some kind of military.... non-disaster....

we don't want them

Do you think that someone will ask you what you want? ;) It was a great luck if lion share of Pomorze will be not asked back at once, to offset so huge territorial growth. ;)

Simple military intelligence work.

As with caleidoscope of dates of "inninent russian invasion", either work not so simple, either there is no real intelligence. ;)

Fair enough :)

But seriously, guys, let's hope there will be no f*cking war in Europe this time. The last one was bad enough to last us for 200 years.

@Velund
Russia is doing what they always do. They are imperialist in nature, and Putin is nothing more than a USSR throwback. In 2008 Putin planned the Crimea and Donetsk uprisings and he funded them. The DUMA in Russia just last week sent a "bill" to Putin for him to recognize both of these puppet governments are separate nations. Putin has not done so yet, but he will, predictably.

The troops on the Russian border are not always stationed there in such numbers. Plenty of imagery available to show all the buildup, and Putin does not deny the buildup. Putin has not denied the delivery of blood supplies either, yet they are there. Putin said troops were leaving when in fact more are coming. His plan for a coup was exposed. His plans for invasion exposed along with the false flag ideas. Everything is being laid out in advance.

This should hopefully be his demise. If not it will at least speed it along. Cant wait to see those bodies on parade in Moscow.

Ahh yes the typical superior ruski thought process.

Novichok

either there is no real intelligence. ;)

There is a simpler explanation. They are lying that they know or just guessing. We bring ambulances to sports events.

Gas line just blew up. False flag attack.

We went to war because a woman told the UN how Iraqis throw babies out of incubators in Kuwait. After she did, America wept and went to Kuwait.

@Novichok
You don't get the news as quickly in Chicago, I know. But it happened north of Donetsk. Actual real Ukraine people in Poland now reporting on what they saw and their families are seeing. Shocking I know that when eye witness statements contradict what Russia is saying.

And the US is not going to Ukraine, so what's the problem? Ukraine's will kill Russians and Russians will kill Ukraine's. Then Russia will recognize the two break off regions as sovereign nations, and the rest of the world will not. Either way, more dead Russian's and those families who with dead children will begin to turn on Putin. We hope anyway.

@Novichok: We went to war.....
And I thougth, it was because of Iraqis mass anihilations weapons.

Colleague PolAmKrakow, relax. It is not as serious as it seems in the media, especially of those in the West. You have to understand that one CNN which fell apart as a media after a series of sexual scandals that shook them, including pedophilia, must somehow heal their wounds.

@Crnogorac3
I am in Poland and do not watch CNN. I actually know people in Donetsk, Kiev and Lviv as well as a few other villages. Unlike you, I go to Ukraine, while you troll from what ever Russian $h*T hole you live in. Go get a gun and head to the front lines. The dumb ones usually get to the head of the line, so just open your mouth for a second and your place will be assured.

If Putin doesn't attack Ukraine, Biden will. America wants a distraction from the disastrous Democratic party rules before the November elections.

Don't forget that Ukrainians are some sort of Russians

I see. Just like Scots and the Welsh are sort of English (nation). After all, they all speak English. ):)

Exactly, or even more. There are probably more mixed families in Ukraine then in Scotland/Wales.

Don't forget that Ukrainians are some sort of Russians.

What difference does it make politically? For some reason USA doesn't believe that China and Taiwan must unite and share the same political system... What about North and South Korea?

PolAmKrakow
19 Feb 2022  #1080

@Vlad1234
More important Taiwan doesn't want to unite, and neither does South Korea. Typical Russian stupidity.
