Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades

@Crnogorac3
Are you saying Russia has a similar tradition and you would like to take part?

Keep wanting...

Glory to Ukraine! Down with Russian bandits!

After a series of pro-Russian terrorists` provocations, those idiots even released a statement blaming Ukrainians. The problem is the video had been recorded two days earlier. Those cheaters thought they were clever... . :):)

Kresy Wschodnie, will go to Poland,

No, darling, it will remain Ukrainian. :):)

Why do Ukrainians refuse to join Russia? They don`t want to live on their knees like Russians do. Russian mentality reminds of a slave, while Ukrainians are descendants of free wild Cossacks. Simple.

If Russian bandits invade and later will be forced to withdraw due to high losses and under the weight of severe sanctions, I hope they will also be forced to pay huge damages for death and destruction they cause in Ukraine. If not, it is obvious that sanctions mustn`t be lifted. Starve those fekking terrorists until they pay the last cent.

Agreed.
But they wont attack.
Putin is a Russian hen who thinks he is a Cockerell.
Nothing but a chicken.

But they wont attack.

I hope you are right. Those dumb Russian soldiers who agree to be Putin`s cattle taken to the slaughterhouse No 5 are also family men - sons and brothers of decent Russians who don`t want this war. If morons die, that will be their own fault - but why should their familes suffer too?

However, tomorrow`s Sunday, a good day to start the war coz people relax and alertness weakens. .

I hope you are right

So do I.
But I agree with your comments.
It is still a worry, but I just cannot believe that Putin is that stupid......
The Russians will suffer almost as much as The Ukranians if they attack.

Belarus and Russia extend military "exercises". Yep, nothing to see here, just exercising. Meanwhile South Korea, India and others now evacuating citizens, students from Kiev and all other Ukraine locations. Charter flights mainly as nearly all commercial flights have been cancelled. Have to agree with Ukraine President, NATO should strike with sanctions right now. Be first and give Putin a big middle finger.

I think Putin really underestimates just how much the world dislikes him and really thinks Russia is a joke of a nation. Even your PM talking tough on Putin. If not for France and German soft leadership Europe would be pretty formidable in the eyes of Putin, but he has Germany on gas, and WW2 guilt, and France is just a pus**fied country. When these sanctions come down, I hope they stay down and starve this guy out. Force his people to rebel against him.

Novichok

how much the world dislikes him and really thinks Russia is a joke of a nation.

I am going to guess that he doesn't give a fu*ck how much the world - whatever that is - dislikes him because he knows that a US president wouldn't give a sh*it about the world if Russia started shipping some nasty stuff to Cuba.

In fact, he would order a naval blockade and risk nuclear war. Crazy guy...

PolAmKrakow
20 Feb 2022  #1092

@Novichok
Putin has the worlds attention. Now he can either attack and look like the tough guy for a day until sanctions around the world kick in, or not attack and look like a pu$$* to his people. He painted himself into a corner. He didn't expect NATO to be so aligned. He counted on German weakness. He over played his hand. Now, put up or shut up. Either way he has damaged his country by his miscalculations. For sure now Sweden and Finland get into NATO, and if Ukraine wants in they will get in. So, whats a tough guy to do when faced with a no win situation?

Novichok

So, whats a tough guy to do when faced with a no win situation?

The same what a US president would do with Cuba, Mexico, or Canada joining the Warsaw Pact.

You talk imagination, I speak accurately about existing facts. Time for Putin to poop or get off the pot.

True. Still, let's imagine Cuba getting hostile nukes. What do you think the US would do?

PolAmKrakow
20 Feb 2022  #1096

@Novichok
Again, imagination. Cuba not lead by Castro any more and they are not that stupid. They are enjoying all the tourists from Europe, Canada and the US. Cuba not really a Russian ally any more. You have no real scenario that can come close to Ukraine and Russia. There is no reasonable rationale for his actions. This is a paranoid leader who wants the return of the USSR. Its too bad no one has the balls to assassinate him like the did in the good old days of USSR to leaders.

Considering Ukraine has not applied for NATO membership, and Putin demands they be barred from it, there is a stand off. Someone needs to fire first. We know it wont be NATO or Ukraine. Putin has to fire or go home. Start a war and get crushed in nearly every way that matters to his people, or back down and be seen as a looser. Pick one or the other.

Novichok
20 Feb 2022  #1097

Again, imagination. Cuba not lead by Castro any more and they are not that stupid.

OK. Since you are not biting and playing stupid...

The US WENT APESH*IT when the USSR started shipping bad stuff to Cuba in 1962. The US set up a naval blockade and the world got palpitations. The US correctly didn't give a fu*ck how the world felt then because the Soviet nukes 90 miles away with a 5-minute warning were an existential threat. Nothing else mattered. Period.

ALL PAST TENSE. As in "it did happen". No hypotheticals. No "imagination" involved. It was all real.

Today, all the excitement about Ukraine can be squelched in 10 minutes by a promise that Ukraine's application to join NATO will be rejected.

PolAmKrakow
20 Feb 2022  #1098

@Novichok
And that will never happen. That's real life. So Putin needs to put up or shut up. Simple. Either way he is now a looser. His people suffer on a national scale, or a bunch of them die needlessly. No problem really. Less Russians either way is a win for the rest of us.

What happened in the past is not indicative of what will happen today or in the future. When people and nations actually learn from the past it does not repeat itself. Russians never get that because they are pretty damn stupid as a nation collectively. Paranoid more so because they kill each other more than other people kill them. It really is a joke of a country and Putin wanted this attention now because he knows no one see's Russia as a super power any more. He knows people are more concerned about China. Now he has painted himself into a corner.

a promise that Ukraine's application to join NATO

That's just a stupid distraction - Russian military aggression against the sovereign nation of Ukraine began long before anyone was using "Ukraine" and "NATO" in the same sentence. It's the existence of an independent Ukraine itself that Russia can't stand - the fact that Ukrainians are (slowly and imperfectly) turning their backs on the Russian system of despotic government just adds fuel to the flame.

Why not demand that Ukraine change its flag? Why not demand the abolition of Ukrainian language education?

Russia has no say in whether Ukraine some year in the future should choose to join NATO out of its own self-interest in not wanting to be devoured by a militarily aggressive neighbor.

Yeah Serbs love being Russian lapdog servants....

I think Putin really underestimates just how much the world dislikes him

Agreed.

. He painted himself into a corner.

Agreed again.Poor judgement.
I thought he was brighter than that, but it looks like I was wrong.
Just another Russian idiot.....

What happened in the past is not indicative of what will happen today or in the future.

What happened in the past denies access to the high moral ground to those who want to bulls*it as if the past didn't happen. That may be one reason why Germany is meowing instead of barking.

Why not demand that Ukraine change its flag? Why not demand the abolition of Ukrainian language education?

Because neither poses any threat to Russia. In 1962, the US didn't ask Cuba to change its flag. It just said: over our dead bodies are we going to allow Soviet rockets in Cuba. Ukraine can easily say: NATO or not, there will never be any American military stuff here.

mafketis
20 Feb 2022  #1102

neither poses any threat to Russia

Neither does NATO as long as Russia stays in its borders.... (or reacts to an incursion to its borders)

And Now =/= Cold War... so, lay off that incredibly stupid analogy and find something that isn't a Putinesque talking point.

When Ukrainians started coming to Poland in droves, it was evident that Ukraine will never (willingly) become a part of "russkij mir". They saw how a free country looks like, how people can live, and they told their friends and families back home. More of them came and they told the same story to those in Ukraine. It put Ukraine on a straight path to freedom, the EU and NATO. Russia couldn't allow that - it was too close to home. If Russians saw that people can be happy, live standing straight up in a free democratic country, that would mean the end for the putinist regime. Hence, Ukraine had to be brought down to her need - first the invasion of Crimea, then terrorist operations in Donbas, and now - when all else failed - preparations for full scale invasion. Unfortunately (for putinists) the US decided not to withdraw from Europe completely and the EU isn't a weak, decadent "Gayropa" as putinist propaganda likes to paint her.

They turned their back on russkij mir earlier, in 2004... whether that was Ukraine's 1956 or 1980 is not clear. But the path it set down in 2004 isn't something that happens in a few years, it takes decades.

I'd say they started coming to Poland because they were turning their back on Russia...

If Russians saw that people can be happy, live standing straight up in a free democratic .... would mean the end for the putinist regime

Sadly they've yet to make that realization....

How about NATO staying within its borders. Draw the borders of NATO and the Warsaw Pact just before the WP dissolved and see what happened since. Which border went where? NATO is not a social club. It's a snake in search of a new mission and Russia is the target, not Iran as the swamp is trying to bullsh*it us into believing.

If not Russia, who is the target?

And Now =/= Cold War...

That was funny, maf. There is CW2 in full swing now. The only difference between it and the original version is that CW2 is funded by the West, primarily by the moron country like the US that moved nearly all of its manufacturing to China and accepts 300,000 of them to "study" every year. Why do you think the US military budget is 40% of all military budgets on the globe? Because the "cold war" is over?

mafketis
20 Feb 2022  #1106

How about NATO staying within its borders

Again, just like your average Russian you can't comprehend that NATO expansion came by the will of the people in the new member countries...

Why should Ukraine swear to not defend themselves against a country that is already illegally occupying parts of it?

Why should NATO tell Ukraine "Sorry, we know Russia has already invaded you.... but we'll never help you."

If NATO is such a snake why do you live in a NATO country?

GefreiterKania
20 Feb 2022  #1107

"Gayropa"

...and that's one thing that I always found completely and utterly nonsensical. How can Russia claim any sort of high moral ground when their rate of divorces, abortions or HIV prevalence rate (on African level) dwarfs that of even Western ("most rotten") Europe, not to mention Poland or other Intermarium countries. They just seem to live in a fantasy world or they started believing their own propaganda at some point.

If NATO is such a snake why do you live in a NATO country?

Bullseye! :) Somehow none of the putinist anus divers and other useful idiots seem very keen on moving to Russia. They all prefer to live in free democratic countries. Go figure :)

Exactly! And how can Putin lovers justify his great replacement policies (ethnic Russians have catastrophically low fertility so he's replacing them with Central Asian muslims and those who say anything about it in public.... end up...... dead.

I have lots of criticisms of US and EU policies but compared to nihilistic cesspool of Putin's Russia... either are citadels of traditional nationalism and traditional values....

I am really trying to show some respect for you but you are not helping me any with statements like this one. Who gives a fu*ck about the "will of the people"?

Did the Allies care about the will of Germans? Does the covid Gestapo care about the will of the people in Australia? If the will of the people in Ukraine is to have megatonnes of American nukes Russia should just say, oh well, if that's the "will of the people"....how can we oppose this display of true democracy...

Please, protect your good name and don't say "will of the people" again unless it's sarcasm.

pawian

Again you don`t know what you are talking about.
