One thing that would really have an effect on Euro alliance on Russian energy (making Russia a moot point) is if European countries would allow the privatization of mineral rights. When you give individual property owners the opportunity to economically benefit from their property they'll be happy to allow the extraction of shale oil and gas on their land. Of course, Europeans would need to be psychologically disentangled from their fear of environmental doom, also.


Yeah, and what exactly is that? Barricading itself behind its borders? Not sure that was ever a good idea for any European country ever--geography has a lot to do with taking on such lunacy. What's best for Germany is playing ball with countries that have the same self-interests.

The article states that despite railing against corruption himself during his presidential bid, leaked documents known as The Pandora Papers indicate that US$41 million was funneled into offshore companies belonging to Zelenskiy and his inner circle.

And despite Zelenskiy portraying himself as pro-Ukrainian and anti-Russian the article also noted that Zelenskiy holds a large portfolio of properties worth millions in London and managed by a Russian company as well as substantial ties to other Russian companies involved in his own media interests.

At the time The Guardian stated they made exhaustive attempts to have Zelenskiy comment on all this but his spokesperson responded in broken English: "Won't be an answer."

That's why all the decent people in your country (overwhelming majority) should demand total and complete deputinification of Germany.

You're not paying attention. Most weestern weasels don't see it as a dreamy democracyt. They see the corruption, hence no invitation to the NATO or EU party. But, that doesn't mean Ukraine holds no strategic concerns for the western weasels or that such brazen aggression shouldn't be addressed strategically.
