Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades

GefreiterKania

Exactly :)

That's one huge favour that Putin did to Germany by this invasion.

.....but not if Berlin still plays the brake with SWIFT...

*squeezes thumbs that rumours are correct*

Your politicians MUST be smarter than that. I mean...

*fingers crossed*

Me, a German patriot again...Berlin should do what's best for Germany and fu*ck the rest. Ukraine is somebody's problem and it's not yours. How about the organizers of the 2014 "revolution"?

Berlin should do what's best for Germany and fu*ck the rest.

THAT never ended well for Berlin....NEVER!

The US can f**ck the rest....China can....Russia for a time.....Germany can definitely not!

I used the term weasel or Euroweasel

I don't think I should call you a Putin's anus diver anymore. You don't dive - you live there permanently. Hence, from now on I shall call you Putin's pinworm.

OK, let's make it more practical and less jingoistic. Berlin's first priority is the welfare of Germany and the Germans. Let others die for "noble causes". We have so many volunteers here as a starter kit.

It's over, putin. You'll have no army come tomorrow.

Now the pain for normal Russian and Belarus people will begin. UK cancels visa's for Belarus basketball team as they were set to play in UK tomorrow. Cancelation of all visa's for all Russian, and countries associated with Russia is now on the table. This is exactly what the world needs to do on top of SWIFT. Lock these pieces of S in their own toilet of a country. Let all the turds ferment for a while and praise comrade criminal Putin.

Great news.

FIFA and FIVB still have their heads stuck up their ass*es, but even they will have to finally acknowledge what is happening.

Well....the old green dilemma.....saving the world vs real politik!

One thing that would really have an effect on Euro alliance on Russian energy (making Russia a moot point) is if European countries would allow the privatization of mineral rights. When you give individual property owners the opportunity to economically benefit from their property they'll be happy to allow the extraction of shale oil and gas on their land. Of course, Europeans would need to be psychologically disentangled from their fear of environmental doom, also.

.Berlin should do what's best for Germany

Yeah, and what exactly is that? Barricading itself behind its borders? Not sure that was ever a good idea for any European country ever--geography has a lot to do with taking on such lunacy. What's best for Germany is playing ball with countries that have the same self-interests.

psychologically disentangled from their fear of environmental doom

A week back I would just had laughed and shaked my head at this naive USian.....but today.....

Climate policy has just taken quite the back seat now....the same with Corona...priorities have definitely changed! The Greens did surf on a supportive wave the recent years, now they have been flushed onto a dry beach suddenly and surprisingly, thanks to Putin.

Even worse, many blame them for our dependence on Russia because of them behind the shutting down of our nuclear plant options...

AntV

The blinders of cult-like ideology always leads to harm. The real doom is their ideology. The effing planet is healthy and stable, it's their obsession that is sick and unstable (I'd qualify that as my opinion, but it's a freaking fact).

shutting down of our nuclear plant options...

Terrible decision that was bound to make Germany more dependent on Russia which was bound to embolden Putin and bound to mute German response to Russian aggression.

Germany doesn't even seem like an ally against him anymore.

I guess when you go shopping, go for quality since Putin bought off so many high ranking Germans in recent years.

So Russia retakes Ukraine. BFD! How does THAT prevent German cars from going east and the Russian gas from going west?
Do you really mean to tell me that your moral outrage is going to stop all that? It didn't when they "annexed" Crimea. I guess the area was under your limit to justify a good outrage.

Germany doesn't even seem like an ally against him anymore.

Whose "ally", naive man? Countries have only one "ally". Themselves. Unless "ally" means somebody who is not shooting at you.

So Russia retakes Ukraine. BFD!

Ukraine was never "Russian" so it can't "retake" it. It can only invade and occupy. Please be clear.

He's a Putin's pinworm, Maf. Remember that you are talking to a pinworm. Pinworms by definition are very rarely clear.

Germany doesn't even seem like an ally against him anymore.

.....and that recognition hurts like hell....and makes most Germans really angry!

Not those who are still in Putins pockets, mind you....but most aren't and never were and feel now totally duped.

Let me help you with this.

Russia was to the USSR as the US is to NATO.

An artwork by a Polish digital artist, Daniel Kordek, in support of Ukraine

Did Volodymyr Zelenskiy buy it?

He certainly has the money. Loads of it!

From October 2021:

Revealed: 'anti-oligarch' Ukrainian president's offshore connections

Source: theguardian.com/news/2021/oct/03/revealed-anti-oligarch-ukrainian-president-offshore-connections-volodymyr-zelenskiy

The article states that despite railing against corruption himself during his presidential bid, leaked documents known as The Pandora Papers indicate that US$41 million was funneled into offshore companies belonging to Zelenskiy and his inner circle.

And despite Zelenskiy portraying himself as pro-Ukrainian and anti-Russian the article also noted that Zelenskiy holds a large portfolio of properties worth millions in London and managed by a Russian company as well as substantial ties to other Russian companies involved in his own media interests.

At the time The Guardian stated they made exhaustive attempts to have Zelenskiy comment on all this but his spokesperson responded in broken English: "Won't be an answer."

but most aren't

That's why all the decent people in your country (overwhelming majority) should demand total and complete deputinification of Germany.

Novichok

should demand total and complete deputinification of Germany.

...as long as it does not cost more than 10 bucks a month.

Ukraine was never "Russian" so it can't "retake" it.

Jews usually do.

So Russia retakes Ukraine. BFD!

We like to be the good ones now....to stay and fight for the right side.....for human rights and democracy and the whole f*** rest. We want to make it better than our ancestors...we see the modern Germany as the counterdraft to the Third Reich and the GDR....our proof that we have learned from our past...

Standing beside and maybe even supporting a dictator invading another country through doing nothing doesn't quite fit the image we like to have of ourselves, of our country!

For most Germans this situation right now is unbearable and quite a BFD!

AntV
26 Feb 2022  #1974

@Poloniusz

What's your point? All of that seems totally inconsequential right now, if true. Dude is still in Kiev with a bullseye on his back, last I heard.

For most Germans this situation right now is unbearable

They can hop on something and go to Ukraine to fight Ruskis. No visas are required.

What's your point?

I am not authorized to reply but I will. The point is that Ukraine is a corrupt pile of sh*it, not some dreamy "democracy" Westers woke weasels imagine.

AntV

For most Germans this situation right now is unbearable and a BFD!

Not to mention allowing such brazen unprovoked invasion of a sovereign nation that bumps up against the border of your close-knit ally with impunity invites future aggression that very well may include you or your self-interest. It's a BFD because one's own sovereignty must be secured. So, it is all about looking out for #1 in the end.

Bratwurst Boy
26 Feb 2022  #1977

So, it is all about looking out for #1 in the end.

Absolutely....

But it is so embarrassing.....german politicians have now openly admitted that they don't fulfill Kiev's wish for weapons not because they don't want to but because WE DON'T HAVE THEM EITHER!!!

Can you believe that....peacenik Germany has destroyed in it's total idiocy our Bundeswehr so far that we can't even defend ourselves, not to mention support others in need...

That must be one of our most shameful and darkest hours! UNFUCKINGBELIEVABLE! 😡

AntV
26 Feb 2022  #1978

Ukraine is a corrupt pile of sh*it, not some dreamy "democracy" Westers weasel imagine.

You're not paying attention. Most weestern weasels don't see it as a dreamy democracyt. They see the corruption, hence no invitation to the NATO or EU party. But, that doesn't mean Ukraine holds no strategic concerns for the western weasels or that such brazen aggression shouldn't be addressed strategically.

, if I fart, I cause global warming.

If you're a lilliputian, yes, that would be your logic.

Novichok

Poloniusz
26 Feb 2022  #1980

What's your point?

He is a kleptocratic clown who allowed Ukraine to be overrun.

He is not "a man of the people" since he is no different than the equally corrupt politicians he campaigned against.

Dude is still in Kiev with a bullseye on his back

He royally screwed up and is only trying to save face by pretending to be defiant.

He knows the gig is up for him.

He knows he cannot escape despite wild boasts of turning down offers from other countries to extract him.

He is not a hero and is not worth saving.
