U.S. and NATO aggression...posing...critical danger to international security.... The revoking...treaties by the U.S. (the ABM, INF, Open Skies Treaty)
Since the middle of the Obama administration, the US and NATO learned that while the US was complying with the INF treaty--keeping missile with 500 to 5000 km out of Russian range, Russia developed and put into service a whole new battery of mid-range missiles that were not compliant with the IMF treaty. The US and NATO continually asked Russia to destroy those missiles to come into compliance with the treaty. Russia did not comply with the treaty, so the Trump admin called it off; because, while the treaty no longer was affecting Russian missile, the US, in complying with treaty, was being restricted.
The US provided proof and details of how Russia was non-compliant. Putin provided abstractions: that the US was trying to start a new arms race.
Same goes for Open Skies.
The one constant in these arguments over these treaties is that the US and NATO have provided verifiable details about how Russia has violated terms of treaties, whereas Russia provides ideological abstractions.
I acknowledge Putin has legitimate concerns about NATO expansion, but there has never been a single action by the US or NATO that can be detailed and verified that would in even the smallest iota justify Russia invading a sovereign nation that has not the capability or will to attack Russia.
This is about one thing and one thing only: Putin desperately wanting to be a part of the global super-power club.
