Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 2

Have you noticed how stupid quoting RT is?

I knew that PF posters are stupid beyond anything imaginable but I didn't know they are so transparent about it.
So, you ignored the meat of my post and latched on that to the fact that I mentioned RT.
What does what I wrote, the logic of it, and the conclusions have to do with RT and its credibility?

RT quoted what Moscow said, not what the RT editors think. And what Moscow said is a public record. BBC would report the same damn thing! Duh!!!

My post was not about RT but about if we should believe Moscow and why. That part of my post you conveniently skipped over.

Sorry Rich, but I think that your logic here is totally cockeyed.

You are just as bad. Instead of commenting about how my logic is "cockeyed", you just slide over to:

nobody has been able to trust what Russians say.

and ignore my post just as the first genius did.

The question is what motivates both Z and P in this specific case. Duh!

I dont understand this guy Putin at times. Why is he always sitting so far away from anyone asking him questions and why does he seem to always have a smirk on his face lately since that war started?

Serious mental and physical health problems.

sitting so far away from anyone

This will be a help to cinematographers in the future when making films about his downfall

Copium... narcissists can't stand the idea of anyone seeing them worried or upset (unless they get supply from them). He's trying to project the image of a calm, cool and collected leader presiding over a normal country and not an incompetent boob who's presiding over the ruin and impoverishment of tens of millions of people.

Poland does at least have coal

You forgot to mention the LNG Gazoport that supplies gas from USA and the Baltic Pipe that will be coming online end of the year. Now imagine if PO/PSL/SLD were in power since 2014. None of these projects to give us energy independence from Russia would have happened, we would have just blindly followed Merkel, and in the middle of a war we would have been gas slaves to russia like Germany and Hungary. But yes those evil 'far right nationalists' blah blah. Please send your gratitude and thanks to Naczelnik Kaczynski by post. I am sure you will get a reply :)

Tacitus

Now imagine if PO/PSL/SLD

But instead you would not have PiS systematically undermining Polish democracy and its' rule of law. Difficult to say what poses more danger to Poland long-term.

No. Next question?

Naczelnik Kaczynski

A grey eminence with bigoted views? No thanks.

And of course Poland can abstract some or all of the oil currently passing through their territory to germany.

calm, cool and collected leader

Given all the table gripping and his cancer diagnosis, it's an even chance that he's doped up with opiates.

Radio Moscow

I used to listen to it when I was doing my homework :)) had it on in the background. It was hilarious! Those were the days when Russian politicians had 'eyebrows' ........ I can still remember the accents of the presenters, rolling their 'l's, and one of them saying 'and now, Frank Sinatra with 'Something Stoopid Lllllllike I llllllllove you'.

About the gas

We have gas central heating/hot water and gas hob - couldn't care less if they cut it off completely. Don't need heating until October, would heat water in a kettle to wash and use the microwave and electric oven for cooking. Would be an inconvenience and nothing more. Most people in Poland who can afford to have their own gas heating can afford to replace it too and I'd be willing to take the comparatively small financial hit instead of the missile hits that the Ukrainians are being subjected to.

No rubles, no gas

So.... no Russian gas. Cool! Sanctioning themselves! Faster please! Poles and Bulgarians are not craven cowards like the modern German and Austrian governments and will not buckle under to Russian despotism and ruin.

Poles and Bulgarians are not craven cowards

...erm....it was Putin who stopped the gas deliveries....not Poles or Bulgarians...

t was Putin who stopped the gas deliveries....not Poles or Bulgarians...

But they knew it was coming. Putin gave an ultimatum and Germany complied. Not a proud moment - giving in to a dictator....

Still, Austria seems, if anything, even more on Pootin's payroll than Scholz... scary prospect.

Putin gave an ultimatum and Germany complied

....again....it was Putin who cut the deliveries....

Till now no country was brave enough to cut the deliveries themselves!

Because nobody wants to be directly responsible for a recession and cold homes. If Putin cuts the gas and oil himself, than politicians can blame him and tell their domestic audience that this is part of a heroic resistance.

Because nobody wants to be directly responsible

Yes easier for the german politician cowards to keep paying the russians blood money (in rubles), and be directly for russia funding it's war crimes machine and murdering more inocent civilians. brilliant response. wrong side of history again and again!

Its easier for Poland to import Russian gas from Germany...a bit cowardly dont you think?

mafketis
27 Apr 2022  #293

nobody wants to be directly responsible for a recession and cold homes

The idea is Putin needs the money to keep the war going. If Germany gave up the gas the war would be over in months (if not weeks) and Russia would have to turn on the flow again to be able to eat (and/or pay reparations to Ukraine).

But shortsightedness rules....

Oh what have we here? the U.K subsidiary of Gazprom is controlled by the German Goverment.
"The change in ownership means that the council's contract is with the German government and not with Russia," the spokesperson said." I wonder which prominent germans secretly own shares in this U.K Gazprom subsidiary?. Also I imagine this disgusting act by the german government has been replicated in other countries so that Gazprom can avoid sanctions. How deep does the rabbit hole go? bbc.com/news/uk-england-cumbria-61242561

...German Economy Minister said: "The order of fiduciary management serves to protect public security and order and to maintain the security of supply. This step is imperative. At present, the security of supply is ensured."...

Tacitus
27 Apr 2022  #298

Yes easier for the german politician

Easier for the Polish politicians as well. The decision to end supply to Poland was made in Moscow, not Warsaw.

If Germany gave up the gas the war would be over in months

1. That Putin would count on economic facts is that same reasoning that was behind NS2 and other projects.

2. Russia is gaining twice as much money from the export from oil to Europe than gas, and Germany only accounts for a part of the former so that hope is completely unfounded and just another way to apply blame to Germany.

90% of the last couple of posts are about germany. Anyone would think they were in the news invading Ukraine instead of russia and Putler's orcs.

Perhaps the forum should be renamed germanandserbianforums.com

And meanwhile, Poland is on the front page of every newspaper in the world today due to key developments associated with the topic of this thread.
