Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 2

Paulina

A good, long and honest interview with a Polish expert about the current situation and what future may look like for Ukraine:

@Paulina

Exactly. Ukrainians will eat Zelensky alive if he makes any serious concessions for peace - at least for the moment. So he either needs to (A) Wait for Western help to really start making a difference and then go and win this whole goddamn thing (B) Make it so apparent to his own population that the situation is desperate and that western help is not in proportion to the challenge, that they give him their collective blessing to go do a deal.

@bobko
and you don't think the situation will change with the July/August Ukr counteroffensive? 700k to 1 million trained coscripts, most lightly trained to be sure. But a core highly trained in the endless supply of western hi-tech weapons and supplementary material from 40 countries.

NY Times says most probably Ukraine will receive the M270 as it's first western Multiple Launch Rocket System, with the advanced HIMARS platform to come next. What will the ruskis do when the ukris have MLRS and HIMARS with a range of 400km?

it may be a question of hours, days, or maximum a week

"Hours or maximum a week". :) I have to use this quote on my wife when she asks me when I will do something. :)

And what do you mean a week? The 2nd army in the world needs a week to encircle a bunch of amateur peasant who only eat one potato a day? Your troops should be given two, maximum three hours and then purges among high command should begin :) A week!

The prior encirclement was of course, Mariupol

Yes, the forces there gave the sacrifice of their lives to slow down the invaders and buy much needed time for troops further north to form tougher defences. After their mission was complete, there was no point to continue fighting and they surrendered. They will be remembered as heroes; the invading occupants the way they should be remembered.

@amiga500

Jeez, I already wrote about these 400-500km today. The munitions the AFU are getting for the M270 are of the max. 70km variety. The ones that have a range of 500KM are called PrSM and have not even been launched into production yet.

700k to 1 million trained coscripts, most lightly trained to be sure.

As Zelensky's own propagandist says - the Eastern front is 1,300KMs long. In addition to this, Ukraine is surrounded by Russia, or Russia-friendly states (BEL, Transdnistria) along 5/6 of its overall borders. If you have 700k, you need to keep 5/6 spread out around the country so as not to tempt Russians to invade again from that direction. It's also kind of hard to move 700K around when all your train substations have been knocked out, your oil refineries, your bridges (mostly by yourself), and you have zero air superiority.

Second fact is that Russia won Round 1 of the reserve race, being able to form its reserves quicker than Ukraine after withdrawing from the North and redeploying East and South. Right now, Ukrainians are saying they need 2 more months to form adequate reserves. Who's to say Russia will sit on its hands for two months and wait to lose its current advantage? Zelenskiy said this week that the current advantage in equipment in Donbass area is 20:1 in favor of Russians, and provided some detail by saying that a Russian artillery battery fires 2,000 shells a day while a Ukrainian one can only afford 100. So who is doing a better job so far at forming reserves? That's right, MONGOL CLOWNS BROUGHT ECHELONS OF T-62 LMFAO.

The only think Ukraine needs to do is hold on to the majority of territory they currently have, until the heavy weapons arrive and they can start with long distance strikes. Time is the Russian enemy as much as the Ukraine soldiers. The longer this goes on, the more it favors Ukraine. Russia ca not go too deep into Ukraine without stressing supply lines, and if those supply lines can be hit with long range weapons, you will see a whole new side of the war for Ukraine. The west is not going to run out of weapons, but Russia will eventually run out of men.

Ukrainians will eat Zelensky alive if he makes any serious concessions for peace

That's the difference... Ukrainians expect and demand to have a voice in running the country and making decisions that effect them.

Compare that to the Russians, still slaves of the Tsar in spirit, passively accept that they have no means of making themselves heard and not daring to stand up for their rights (because they have no rights - Russia is not a country based on ideas like 'rights').

Why would anyone who's tasted freedom like the Ukrainians want to become slaves of the Tsar again?

Russij Mir has nothing to offer Ukrainians but death and misery and servitude.

The HIMAR platform has a max range of 300km, operational and prettily availiable, I think Poland commited to 500 or so.

Now maybe the ukranians will customise an ultra mobile version of this? :) :)

Harpoon and Neptunes have arrived in Ukraine. Some more repurposing in the Black Sea of the Russian fleet on the way. And now they have also received upgraded versions of M109 Howitzers. Every day more is arriving. Breaking news as well, the US Army will now be permanently based in Southern Poland and this will not be a rotation base. Permanent bases are designed with great detail and a lot of the most modern equipment available.

Now a report in the NYT that Russian family's are "crowd sourcing" for basic essentials to go to military personnel as news is reaching the general public about how bad its going. Reports of "one potato a day" more accurately reflect what the Russians are dealing with. The US military is shipping tons of MRE's that unlike Russia's are not expired. Having eaten these MRE's while hunting multiple times, I can say they are not bad at all.

In a related note, an Orc roast is taking place just outside of Kherson and all you little Orc sympathizers are invited. Happy gulag biatches!

Yes, you did! Yet you haven't said anything about when will you be on the frontlines in Ukrainie? Don't tell me you are not going, even when victory is imminent.

By the way - what Navalny has to say about the special military operation?

28 May 2022  #3343

why don't you invest in developing something locally

You are a clever one, arent you? :):)
You know very well why not, so I will inform others - coz we need to have a chance and source of resupplying destroyed or damaged equipment in case of a longer conflict with Mongols. We they attack, Polish armament plants will be targeted by long range missiles. So it is obvious we will need to get replacement weapons from other NATO countries, just like Ukraine is doing now - it has just received over 20 ex Soviet assault planes from Bulgaria.

I just read in the news

Don`t rely on Mongol propaganda so much. :):); It is unhealthy for your psyche. hahaha

Fresh Polish cannon fodder has arrived. He still smells of Mazovian arrogance and belief in his immortality. And how he dreams... But soon it will smell different - first sh*tty, then sweety...

Mazovian arrogance

Mazovian arrogance? Maybe Masurian bravery? Kashubian perseverance, Silesian endurance or Kuyavian defiance? :D

Where TF do you take those epithets from? "Young Anti-Polish Troll Textbook", book3, chapter 27?

Fresh Polish cannon fodder has arrived.

And what are you waiting for, Velund? :D Now you're not too old for military and they're resurrecting some old tanks... You can go and serve your Naziland with a song on your lips! Enough talking, it's time for action! ;) Show us that you're "tuff" not only on an internet forum! ;)

But soon it will smell different - first sh*tty, then sweety...

And you're not arrogant at all, of course! :D

I can already imagine you riding in one of those metal coffins, waiting with your heart in your throat for some drone or Javelin to bake you :) Hey, but if you survive this "special operation" you can report to us what it was like :D Unless, of course, you are a coward who just likes to talk big? You'd rather let those poor boys from "ethnic" republics do the dirty job for you?

Where TF do you take those epithets from? "Young Anti-Polish Troll Textbook", book3, chapter 27?

LOL :D

Ruslan Stefanchuk - Chairman of the Verhovna Rada - thanked the parliaments of Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Czechia, Canada and Poland for officially recognising Russia's actions in Ukraine as genocide.

will we have Poland vs Belarus war

We're going to have Poland vs Belarus war once we run out of salt and buckwheat in Poland! We'll invade Belarus to get that precious Belarusian salt and buckwheat for ourselves, so we wouldn't starve to death ;( We'll have no other choice! Lack of salt and buckwheat would be an existential threat to the existence of Poland! ;O

i think only icrc can officially name something as genocide. its their jurisdiction, not parliament of Poland
this is symbolic only

It will be remembered in history as the First Great Buckwheat War.

Symbols are important, especially to a nation which is alone fighting off a brutal invasion.

What? Lukaszenka can kiss goodbaye Brześć, Grodno and Baranowicze, after all he is leading war against Poland with his people attacking Polish Border Guard and Polish property. That is war. He started it.

Where TF do you take those epithets from?

From some 18-th century Russian literature. Cannot remember correctly where. But since then word "гонор" in Russian have different meaning that same sounding "honor" in Latin. ;) More likely a mixture of swagger, arrogance, and hubris. And often painfully hypertrophied versions of this complex were expressed by adding the words " szlachetski", "Polish" or the name of a particularly self-proud place in Poland, usually Mazovia. ;)

From some 18-th century Russian literature.

Figures, Russian slaves couldn't get that concept, they still can't!

While I remember what Navalny has to say about all those goings on.

Masovia many of rather poor but proud citizens. Concept that Russian can't really grasp.

LMAO Belarus. Those idiots couldnt even storm the border with immigrants and be successful. There little $hit of a country would be run over if they came to Poland. I bet none of you have been to Belarus. Again, I have, Belarus people have been doing everything to get out that they can for years. Disaster of a country.

Me? I don't care. It is not about me, it is about Russian slaves that are unable to grasp what freedoms, citizenship, rights and all that European civilization brings. I do not expect you to get it. Just recognize that fact that you are not able to get it.

GFY! ;)

oho that is a root cause of all those crimes Russan soldats comitt, jealusy, inferiority complex and envy. On their low level of grunds it is about basic standard of living. In those better off and educated like Velunt it is about other things.

They realize they are being deprived and brutalized by their own 'elite' and they recurse is to use opprtunity as the war to tear down anything that is better off, either matterialy or spirtually. Typical barbarian horde that see cvilization and fear and hate it.
