Read your article. Source is Ukrainian news site, that refers to "independent sources". Even so, it says that the date is merely the date by which Donetsk Oblast is expected to be taken, with June 1 as deadline for Luhansk Oblast. Seems plausible enough, although perhaps a little optimistic.

It says that the "military operation" is supposed to end on that date ('"Operacja wojskowa" ma zakończyć się 1 lipca'). So, the "military operation" will end but the war will continue? That's a bit confusing. :-/

Oh... I see... I might have misread that: maybe they didn't mean the "special operation" but only the "military operation" of taking entire Donbas oblast. Russians don't use the word "war" so I thought that they meant the war by "military (special?) operation".

He's not UKR military intelligence, but an adviser to the President with mainly a PR function. He's been appearing on 2-3 shows a day for the past 90 days, and was on the screens a lot before as well.

He claims he worked in the Ukrainian GRU in the 1990s but nobody can confirm this. He also claims that he's been on 30+ recon/combat missions during the first phase of this conflict, including a mission where he was the only person to survive an explosion. This has also not been verified, and questioned by many professional military persons.

What is confirmed about him is that he had a struggling theatre career, some commercials, and some cameos in several Zelensky produced films. Afterwards, he found himself as a "life coach", whatever the fu*k that is. He has an opinion on everything, from extraterrestrials to lost ancient civilizations and the ideas of Carl Jung.

Many Ukrainians have become disillusioned with him, after lapping up his BS for the first three months. So much so, that he's even changed his tack a bit, and talks a lot more about problems now.

The only factor that could delay the end of the war, this genius of strategy said, was that it was unclear whether or not Russia would be able raise an additional 10-15,000 reservists. If they did, it would take a maximum of 1-2 additional weeks to grind through that number. Lol.

Now he's saying it's highly likely Russians will do a Kiev Offensive 2.0. In my book, these are not great powers of prediction. Oh well.

No. I free admit that the US often does terrible things and i don't support it. I was against the first Gulf war and spoke out against it frequently. I was against going into Afghanistan and Iraq...
