someone outraged that their illegal and unprovoked invasion is failing badly

Don't worry, Jon. There is still a very good chance we will "past" every single one of those Banderists. Tens of thousands have already been recycled. Crnogorac and Velund have been posting the photo proofs of those retards and their tattooos.

If we remove this cancer from the Ukrainian organism, then you Poles can be friends with them for a thousand years more, with a completely clear conscience, and no need to ever take off your sparkling white gloves.

No thank you for Russia is necessary. We're used to it.

When NATO and EU collapse, Poland is practically liberated. No need Russia to give them even more liberty. Really.

Hows that Russian economy under sanctions going?

Car production suffered, falling by 96.7% compared to 2021. Production of trucks fell by 39.3 per cent, diesel and petrol engines by 57 per cent, diesel locomotives by 63.2 per cent and freight wagons by 63.2 per cent.

Production of refrigerators also fell by 58.1 percent compared to 2021, washing machines by 59.2 percent, and electric motors by 49.9 percent, TVs by 49.7 percent.

Elevator production fell by 34.7 percent and excavators by 60 percent. Interestingly, cigarette production also fell by 24.5 percent.

How is the ruble really doing? Exchange rate at Russian embassy in Moscow for is 160 Rubles for 1 USD.

How about visa processing for Russians? Interesting how there is quite a delay in processing any visa's for any Russians in the USA and EU. Crazy I know.

Happy gulag biatches!

How about visa processing for Russians? Interesting

Interesting indeed! None of that, however, really impinges on our Bandera-killing abilities.

Seriously though - yes there's problems. A lot less problems, however, than even the biggest optimists forecasted in February.

Car production around the world has been in a stupor due to Covid-related supply chain squeezes, so even companies like Toyota and Renault struggled to keep assembly lines working. What can you say about Russia, in a context of total sanctions. It will take time to fix the automobile issue.

The exchange rate at the Russian embassy in Moscow? Are you sure you're not talking about the American Embassy in Moscow? Maybe they updated their pricing for visas back in March when it was at 160 - I don't know. The ruble is freely exchangeable now (even above the $50K monthly limit), if you just open a brokerage account with any Russian bank (my friend uses VTB Brokerage). The spread that was still there in April-May between black market and official is practically gone.

@Bobko
My mistake in typing. Yes, US embassy. As you know, buying the Ruble or trading in it is banned in civilized countries. I do have some though and we use it for monopoly money when we are at the cottage.

Interesting too how Russia had to get weapons and ammunition from Belarus isn't it? With reports of stock depletion of smart weapons, and accurate weapons only being used when absolutely required.

I am wondering why all of these fires keep taking place in Russia at strategic places. Strange indeed. When a country is used to living in $hit for decades, a little more of it probably isn't noticed much. But the latest financial indicators coming directly from Russia itself are not good. Steep economic decline is taking place. Now, the Russia economic policy propping up the Ruble is limiting its tax collections because it is too strong within Russia now. Such a pity. ;-)

so even companies like Toyota and Renault struggled to keep assembly lines working.

The largest US Lexus dealer is empty. At some point, they had just one lonely car in the middle of the showroom.

A lot less problems, however, than even the biggest optimists forecasted in February.

You meant ...the biggest Russia-hating optimists...Right?

. By your logic, France never capitulated.

The legitimate French government did formally surrender to Germany.

The legitimate Polish government did not surrender to Germany.

=> France capitulated. Poland did not capitulate. Easy to understand, right?

If Poles are too enlightened to punish these b!tches, we have no such compunction.

Are you telling us this time that this invasion is about punishing Ukrainians for not dealing with the dark chapters of their history properly? lol If that's a good enough reason for war and killing people, according to you, then Russia should be punished in the same way for not dealing properly with the dark chapters of it's history ten times over.

Also, it's a very stupid and f*cked up justification, because it's the Russian speaking part of Ukraine that is suffering the most from this invasion. Are you going to tell us that Russian speaking Ukrainians are "Banderists" and "Nazis" who have to be "punished'? What are Russians "punishing" them for?

If we remove this cancer from the Ukrainian organism

You sound like a Nazi or a Stalinist.

Poles can be friends with them for athousand years more, with a completely clear conscience, and no need to ever take off your sparkling white gloves.

Poles don't need Russian help with that. Actually, I'm afraid your violent and bloody efforts may end up being counterproductive and will just strenghten the cult of Bandera and UPA, because any criticism of those will be viewed by Ukrainians as siding with the bloody invader's propaganda. I hope it won't stifle historical discussions for years...

We also don't need your help in wearing sparkling white gloves. We'll keep wearing them, while helping Ukraine and Ukrainians, despite the historical issues. Why? Because we help the weaker who need our help. Poles turned out to be amazing people. They're helping Ukraine and Ukrainians even though they know about the support for Bandera and UPA in Ukraine. That support does bother us, but we're helping anyway, because that's the right thing to do and that's the priority right now.

There's an interesting French documentary about it (in English). I recommend watching it, because it shows what this looks like from the perspective of ordinary people:

or trading in it is banned in civilized countries.

In civilized countries, free people can freely exchange what they own. In totalitarian counties, they cannot. Like back under commies.

France capitulated. Poland did not capitulate.

The net effect was the same. Do you think that if the USSR and USA did not get involved, Polish soldiers would be marching through Berlin in... say 1948?

OK, Mr. Nit Picker, and the difference is exactly what? A sheet of paper?

The net effect was the same.

Bobko, I am so glad you are here to keep the sanity index at an acceptable level.

Do you think that if the USSR and USA did not get involved,

Let's cut the crap. The war was won by the Soviets in Europe and the US in Asia. All the rest is a metoo movie material - including Monte Casino.

Polish soldiers would be marching through Berlin in... say 1948?

Or in 2018 to go shopping.

The war was won by the Soviets in Europe and the US in Asia

You are Fing delusional if you believe that. If not for USA Europe would still be in the Reich. Just because the USSR got to Poland does not mean they liberated Europe, and they didnt liberate Poland alone. Funny how people forget where the US was in the war. Especially the current traitors.

As for trading, free people do not do business with invading scum unless there is no other option. To buy the ruble is equal to buying toilet paper, and no one is running out of toilet paper.

The war was won by the Soviets in Europe

Then how do you explain the post-war creation of a West and East Germany, a democratic Westerm Europe, the creation of NATO. What was the Warsaw Pact all about?

Bobko
1 Jul 2022  #6015

All the rest is a metoo movie material

Well, it's not what we Russians see when we watch what Hollywood produces. There it seems like America did everything. Private Ryan saved Europe in Normandy. Incessant chatter about the decisive role of North Africa and Sicily (one week of fighting in Stalingrad equaled the whole Africa campaign).

Asia, however yes. Although recently historians have started arguing that perhaps what forced the hand of the Japanese was less the atomic bombings, and more the threat of imminent invasion of the Japanese Home Islands from the North after we occupied Sakhalin and the Kurils (admittedly with the help of American landing craft). Also, while you were busy island hopping, putting up flags in Iwo Jima, we destroyed the largest, best equipped, and most prestigious Japanese formation - the Kwantung Army which had been based in Manchuria since the 1930s.

For what Russia will be eternally grateful for is Lend Lease, and also for not listening to Churchill. Churchill wanted the Russians and Germans to go on killing each other for as long as possible. Once our friend, Roosevelt, died - everything went to sh!t anyway. Truman fell under Churchill's charm, and bought into the whole Anglo Russia-hating narrative.

Lend-Lease to USSR in numbers:

400,000 jeeps & trucks
14,000 airplanes
8,000 tractors
13,000 tanks
1.5 million blankets
15 million pairs of army boots
107,000 tons of cotton
2.7 million tons of petrol products
4.5 million tons of food

Cojestdocholery

the difference is exactly what?

Policy toward occupied territies at least in theory they would be binded by some basic laws in occupied Poland.

The war was won by the Soviets in Europe

The Soviets first stared the war as an ally of Hilter without them he wouldn't be able to grow his foreces so fast, they support his war againt the west for two years with ores and oil.

Then they were supported by the west with amunition, tanks, trucks, cars, food, and all stuff they needed to fight a war. Without the western help they would most likely loose in one form or the other.

The only thing they had plenty was human meat they keep throwing at Germans.
You are an ignornat stupid troll, that know nothing, you just love your Stalin don't you?

Production of refrigerators also fell by 58.1 percent compared to 2021

I went to the website of a large home appliance chain, chose the refrigerators section, set the condition "in stock only".

mvideo.ru/holodilniki-i-morozilniki-2687/holodilniki-i-morozilnye-kamery-159/f/tolko-v-nalichii=da

906 different models orderable from stock. Models, not refrigerators. ;) And you think we're already in a hurry to finish the last hedgehog dick without salt, because we have nothing to freeze it with? ;) ;)

Russian hackers hacked Ukrainian logistics company Novaya Pochta.

It is reported that hackers managed to extract hundreds of gigabytes of information from the Ukrainian company's network, including the passport data of senders and recipients, their addresses and even what exactly was sent.

It was "Novaya Pochta" (Nova Posta) that was used by the ukranazis who occupied the territories of the LNR and DNR and sent their loot to western Ukraine through this company's channels.

For one reason only...So that the Soviets would do the heavy lifting and most of the dying by keeping Germans busy there, not here.

It was as self-serving as they ever get.

I love Russian hackers - if only to show how ridiculously crappy our cyber security is. If two pimply kids can bring down a major US corp, just imagine the FSB with its unlimited resources...

All that is left at FSB HQ are some broken Vietnamese microwaves and a few boxes of bitter Cuban coffee (the cigars went to murderer Putin's dacha long ago)

Moscow has expanded the list of commodities that must be paid for in Russian currency.

The Russian government has added grain, sunflower oil and extracted meal to the list of exports that must be paid for in rubles. A resolution giving effect to the decision was adopted on Friday and published on the official portal of legal information.

I think it is excellent news. Why should Russia trade real vital goods for something that the US treasury turns out by the trillion with nothing more than a single right hand click on a computer mouse?

Fertilizers next in line?

Bobko

@mafketis
That's true. In many ways Bandera was an even more despicable piece of sh!t than Hitler. We should stop insulting the feeelimgs of Germans and find a new appropriate term.

Velund already suggested UGIL (IGIL in Russian is ISIS). Perhaps we could use something like Ukroban? Combination of Ukraine + Taliban + Bandera?

In many ways, Stalin was worse than both put together.... yet he's been rehabilitated along with the practice of informing on people...

People talk about Napoleon and Hitler being the first and second Antichrist.

Presumably Putler is the third.

Strange that this forum has been invaded by r*ssians; evidently they like invasions.

At least they're bogged down here where nobody cares what they say instead of somewhere they could do damage

russians russians

They don't deserve capitalisation.

A future idea could be a nice freshwater inland sea from roughly Vitebsk to the Urals.

Good for the climate and greening with freshwater fish, albeit probably radioactive.

They're crawling all over the forum right now.

Not very effectively; them again, Pigozhin doesn't pay very much.
