Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 2

mafketis
1 Jul 2022  #6031

They're crawling all over the forum right now.

Very predictable....

Putin announces withdrawals..... there will be horrible attacks against civilian targets

Some kind of strategic Russian defeat (like Snake Island).... there will be horrible attacks against civilian targets

Some kind of strategic Russian defeat (like Snake Island).... the bots go into overdrive trying to distract

Putin makes vague threats against specific countries.... nothing will happen.

Russians like Putin, there's nothing they can do to get rid of him (so they convince themselves they like him) slave mentality - slave culture.

To support the russian state is to support psychological slavery...

Vile, horrible... _inferior_ culture.... no wonder Ukrainians want nothing to do with it.

no wonder Ukrainians want nothing to do with it.

I agree. Especially after they saw the horrors in Crimea...My God, Auschwitz was a sanatorium compared to that hell on earth...

If mad Putin decides to attack Ukraine, Poland must do its best to help Ukrainians defend their sovereignty.

Only one who know nothing or hate Poland can speak like this.

the horrors in Crimea....

Don't be parhetic.

Does anyone really know what life is like in Crimea?

Yeah, it's not Auchwitz, but people can still be deported, at random, to Labour camps in Siberia.
Is that your idea of heaven Rich?

1 Jul 2022  #6035

I agree.

More evidence.... a young man had a potentially great future in the NHL and now he's going to be sent to the front as cannon fodder... but it's glory for the sake of Putin's zhopa, so... I'm sure you're giggling over the prospect of snuffing out another young Russian man's life....

Poor inferior russians... I'd feel sorry for them if they weren't so vicious.....

Poor inferior russians

A truly pathetic nation that will.be even more diminished when they lose this stupid and pointless war.
And when they do, they will spend billions that they don't have trying to rebuild their military capability but it will be too late by then.

Because NATO, that were stronger than Russia to begin with, have woken up to the Russian threat and will grow much faster.
Russian expansionism is dead in the water.

How many were deported in 2021?

I'm sure you're giggling over the prospect of snuffing out another young Russian man's life....

No, I am not giggling. My sense of sadness when soldiers die is as follows: 1. US, 2. Russia.
There is no #3.

As you probably know, ordinary Poles, private people are driving into Ukraine with humanitarian aid and are usually giving it out directly to people in the streets to make sure that it's ending up in the hands of those who need it the most. From time to time they post photo and video reports from those trips. I don't post them here, but I've decided to post one, because this guy, who visited Chernihiv, among others, took quite a few photos of destroyed and damaged civillian buildings (it's his 16th humanitarian trip to Ukraine):

facebook.com/groups/pomocdlaukrainypl/permalink/787985659222812/

He and people that were with him had to leave Ukraine, because they found out it's getting dangerous - Russian army entered again, this time together with Belarusian forces, apparently.

Basically nasty and barbaric with a decreasing life expectancy and extreme poverty.

Their barbarism will be their downfall. They're waging a nineteenth or twentieth century war against twenty first century opponents.

To love russia is to love raw sewage.... filthy, inferior culture

Even the so-called high culture is kitsch. Overblown music that needs a vast orchestra to produce the effects, anorexic teen-agers dancing in tutus to 50s choreography, a handful of well known novels, and two playwrights.

As for the paintings, they're horrid chocolate box stuff that belongs in Woolworths.

Modern technology is really fascinating. It can level the playing field quite a bit if the weaker side has a better grasp on it. Thanks to drones, satellite images and modern anti-tank, anti-air and anti-ship weapons, Ukraine managed to inflict heavy casualties on Russia. Russia managed to loose planes and helicopters against a nation with a small airforce, and lost its' flag ship against an enemy without ships. Extraordinary. And Zelensky has been outplaying Putin on the propaganda front at every turn. Speaking to world

leaders via satellite, his people via telephone and showing bravery when visiting the front, while Putin photoshops himself into meeting some people.

life in Crimea

Keep also in mind that we generally do not know how much goes on there. We did not know of Butcha and other mass graves before those places were liberated.

That was brilliant. Modern and cheap technology - the great equalizer. That is why I love those North Korean nukes. No more American "police actions" there.

...and still untouchable. Hahahahahahaha...Not bad for a place with "no phones, tv, food or medicine". A US president was very respectful of those "thieves and murderers". When was the Polish president treated the same way here?

You, Poles, have phones, tv, food, or medicine and still need "protection". NK does not.

PolAmKrakow
2 Jul 2022  #6046

@Novichok
Maybe you should give up all you have and go to NK then? It would likely be a must more efficient way for you to become disliked in another country.

Meanwhile the Ukraine forces are becoming efficient with the MLRS they have received. Taking out lots of Russian control centers, and more Russian officers. Probably a whole lot of field commissioned officers being made by Russia. The pay increase will never effect the government anyway since they will likely be killed too.

And now Norway pledging 1 billion Euro to help Ukraine. Funny isn't it, how nearly every country that could be potentially effected by a Russian action is backing Ukraine? They must all be paranoid to think that Russia would attack them. But hey, all the Russians heading out for holidays can really soak up the sun in Kazakhstan and Mongolia. I hear tourism is booming there, and that half a million rubles can get you a grilled cheese sandwich. Soup is extra. Happy gulag biatches!

Yes, one Brics flag and the rest Polish. No Russian flags. Posted on a self proclaimed "socialist" persons twitter. Nothing but some Polish Nazi's trying to stir up trouble. Had one Russian flag been out you would have seen fighting in the streets. Keep searching for fringe BS it will get more difficult as the days pass. Meanwhile, BOOM more dead Orcs in Ukraine just now. lol

yea, but what the rally was for?this what i want to find out? was it pro Russian? why those people are on the streets.

some say it was pro Russian ,organised by some rus-pol friendship association.
nothing about it in polish media

@gregy741
Because it was a nothing. It is either fake news, or propaganda and no one is covering it anywhere. If you even look at that womans twitter, she is a nut case wanting to end everything and start a socialist world. Newsflash, if you want a living wage, get a Fing job.

On another note, youtube.com/watch?v=fejo8cXMpSw an excellent report by VICE news.

"Thousands of Polish people took part in a pro-Russian and pro-Belarusian rally"

Not "thousands" but about 500 according to the press. It was organised by a marginal nationalist nutter (and convicted antisemite, guilty of burning a dummy of a Jew in Wrocław's market square and shouting anti-semitic slogans in front of Auschwitz-Birkenau gate), supported by a patostreamer (recently released from custody) and his followers.

Yeah... all you have to do really is to take a look at what kind of people support Russia in this conflict, and draw your own conclusions.

PolAmKrakow
2 Jul 2022  #6053

@gregy741
I will not deny there is a growing, yet very small, segment of Polish people who are frustrated with Ukraine people. I have mentioned this in the past having witnessed some issues. People are frustrated with Ukraine flags on buildings and by how much is being spent on refugee's. More are frustrated with Ukraine people not communicating in Polish or English. I personally had an issue with two Ukraine people just a few days ago over the language issue, and their reaction to my not speaking Ukrainian was really disrespectful.

That said, these are small groups of people on the fringes. I do understand some of their concerns, but these kind of demonstrations never accomplish anything.

gregy741
2 Jul 2022  #6054

I do understand some of their concerns,

yea. i am pro Russian in this conflict, but not anty Ukrainian. i see Ukrainians as victims of Kiev junta criminal actions.
ukra refuges should be supported in Poland and helped. cus they go through tuff time. until drug addict and hes nazis are removed from kiev

this is sad Poland right now, either you hate Russians or Ukrainians. no reasonable people there.
am so disconnected with my views from all .

LOL You're so full of sh*t, Grisha, it's unbelievable. :D Putin himself has already stated what this war is about, and it's not "denazification".

You are very well connected with Russian propaganda sources, because you repeat verbatim what they say.

football games taking place on a nice Roman Shukhevych Ternopil city stadium... riiiiight.

I'm sure there are a few statues of Cortez in a few spanish villages, who was responsible for the deaths of millions of south americans, does that mean the spaniards are murderous colonising bastards now? not really>

look ukraine is a new country and they need their heroes , right now they are looking at their recent past, a past that is soaked in blood. once the country matures they will look further back into their history and have the courage to have father figures that they shared with the polish lithuanian commonwealth and russia.

Nothing but some Polish Nazi's trying to stir up trouble. Had

Cojestdocholera and Dog Digglers mates, really should be ashamed of themselves

Look, I promised Maf yesterday that I will not discuss the issue for the time being (until the end of the war), and I intend to keep that promise.

More are frustrated with Ukraine people not communicating in Polish or English.

Excuse me, but why should Ukrainians know Polish or English? Seems to be kind of an unreasonable demand. They're not in Poland on tourism, or on a job search - but because they are fleeing a war zone. You graciously invited them in, it was your own choice.

I'm only guessing, but chances are they were surprised you didn't understand them since the perception in Ukraine is that Poles can understand them with some ease. It was only after this forum that I myself realized this is not necessarily the case. Kind of a curious situation, but maybe not entirely without reason. Ukrainians understand Polish easily - so it's natural to assume for them that the same should work in reverse.

Actually, I still don't understand why Poles don't understand Ukrainians.

as long as nazis get mauled

That is precisely what is happening to the r*ssians, the closest thing we've seen to the Nazis in many years.

organised by a marginal nationalist nutter (and convicted antisemite, guilty of burning a dummy of a Jew

Is he still doing the rounds? No surprises that he supports r*ssia.

a socialist world

She won't find r*ssia helping with that.
