Quite amazing to hear Peskov say that Poland "might be a source of threat to russia". As if the opposite wasn't true.

I loved this quote in the Daily a telegraph today: " Polish environment and climate minister Anna Moskwa said on Monday that "Poland is proud to be on Putin's list of unfriendly countries.""

Especially heartening is the Minister's name. Between the Polish Minister called Anna Moskwa and the British Head of Armed Forces called Admiral Radakin, we're doing nicely at this.

Facial recognition software in USA is no joke. Last trip back to the US, when going through passport control, they did not take my passport or even look at it. Again you show your depressingly low intellect. As someone who has a JD, I would love to prosecute this case against Russia and Putin. It is a slam dunk, not only by legal standards, but there is not a jury in the world that would not convict. They would have to limit the evidence put forth simply to save time, but all these POS would be convicted and hung. I would to it for free as a public service.

Wives of Ukrainian soldiers under siege in Mariupol who gathered in Kyiv to demand the evacuation of their husbands have been dispersed bypolice who gave army conscription notices to men who joined the protest.

Police officers ordered the women at the latest protest to leave the square as the event had not been authorised and gave conscription orders to a number of men.

I bet those civilians in Mariupol are still there because they are held by force, not because they don't trust Russians. When you are about to die from starvation, the word "trust" is way down the list - if at all.

There's a martial law in Ukraine now, so protests are not allowed as far I understand.

Poland introduced a state of emergency in the area near the border with Belarus and that resulted in some restrictions too.

That doesn't change the fact that I'd also like to know what was and is being done to help people at Azovstal (both civillians and soldiers) by the Ukrainian authorities and others (although I understand that probably not a lot can be done, since RuSSians are ruthless, lying bastards).

I bet you're wrong. Everything I've read and heard suggests that Russians can't be trusted. Since the beginning of the siege of Mariupol Russians would promise humanitarian corridors and then they would shot at them. People weren't able to get out from the city because of constant shelling, even though Russians were promising ceasefires.

Also, many of those civillians at Azovstal are families of Ukrainian soldiers. After Bucha, Irpin, Hostomel, any sane Ukrainian woman, especially a soldier's wife, would be absolutely horrified by the prospect of her and her children falling into the hands of Russian beasts aka "soldiers".

I forgot to add that those people are families not of any soldiers, but of those soldiers still fighting at Azovstal. I'm guessing this is why those soldiers are still fighting like lions - because they don't want their wives and children to get into the hands of Russian "soldiers".

Oh, you're absolutely disgusting. No, not "just like their grandparents". The Ukrainians didn't invade Russia, didn't occupy it and didn't kill 30 million of Russians. It's Russia that is invading Ukraine, occupying Ukrainian lands, destroying cities, towns and villages, killing Ukrainian people, raping, torturing, kidnapping and stealing from them. Ukrainians have every right to be "gleeful" when the invaders are getting killed.

You're right to some extent about those "feelings" though. Russian insane propaganda convinced Russians that Ukrainians are a nation of Nazis that did some inhuman things to their Russian minority and so Russian soldiers are likely to take "revenge" even on Ukrainian civillians. That's only an excuse though, because they could take revenge in all kinds of ways and yet they choose to rape women and children.

If you couple this Russian anti-Ukrainian propaganda with Russian misogyny, propensity for rape, drunkeness and drug abuse, bullying at the Russian army, lack of discipline, low morale, and general moral degeneration of the Russian society... you get an army that can't be trusted to treat even civillians as human beings.
