Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 2

Korvinus
8 May 2022  #1261

He declared that there would no longer be a border between Poland and Ukraine for decades, or even centuries.

Only Russian could interpret declaration of Poland's friendship with Ukraine as preparation for invasion.

You know who has no borders between them? Member states of the European Union. Poland is already in, and Ukraine recently applied for membership.

As for 'preparations': our weapons are already in Ukraine, doing the good job of orcslaying. Our soldiers don't need to go there (yet).

the invasion will continue one way or another until Russia retreats or they are defeated militarily.

Too binary. In between, there is a never-ending process of destroying what is still standing but is worth leveling. It would be a relatively low-cost way of making Ukraine very unattractive to tourists, investors, and NATO. Another benefit to Russia: testing weapons with no need to erect targets and clean up.

Also, this kind of operation does not require men and tanks and would be similar to the US bombing of Serbia.

Memo to Polish Russia haters: No, I am not "supporting" any of this. Just saying...

No he wouldn't, he would support Putin.

Not according to his great-great-granddaughter who is giving shelter to Ukrainian refugees in her apartment in Switzerland. She says 'he would be devastated' - and anybody who has read his work would agree.

@Novichok
I do not respect any Russian troll to remember their name. He, like you will eventually disappear when Putin is dead or Russia has officially lost the war. One or both are inevitable.

Sorry Rich, but your posts suggest that you absolutely love what the Russians are doing.
You really need to change your posting style to make us think otherwise.

Polish President Andrzej Duda has officially acknowledged his territorial claims against Ukraine.

If that twisted and insane interpretation of Duda's words by Russian propaganda was supposed to drive a wedge between Ukrainians and Poles, then I can inform you that it didn't work lol I can tell you from first hand source (an Ukrainian living in Ukraine) that Ukrainians know very well what you're trying to do, they think you're insane and they're laughing at your pathetic attempts at sewing mistrust :) Btw, Russian propaganda already tried that in 2014 and it didn't work either. Don't you ever learn, you evil, lying orcs?

Слава Україні! Stronger together! 🇵🇱 🇺🇦 💪

Hope you are finished lecturing Pope about Catholic Faith?

I'm afraid I'm not the only one disappointed with his behaviour. According to the latest poll majority of Poles (74.7%) have a negative view of pope Francis' attitude towards war in Ukraine:

wiadomosci.wp.pl/pytania-o-postawe-papieza-franciszka-nawet-wierzacy-tak-go-oceniaja-6766668913191744a

As far as political views go the following view the pope's attitude in a negative way:

65% of government supporters

89% of opposition supporters

Breaking news (for Germans that is and maybe Ukrainians too)...election in one of the german Bundesländer....the first after the invasion....and the SPD loses BIIIIIIG!!!!

CDU and GREENS win.....SPD/FDP/AfD/Linke losing....translation: those party's who are seen to support Ukraine, who want to do more to help WIN - the others not.

Could be very interesting for the following elections....

CDU triumphs in state elections in Schleswig-Holstein, SPD crashes

According to the first projections, the CDU clearly won the state elections in Schleswig-Holstein - and may be able to govern alone in the future. The SPD comes to its historically worst result.

Russian propaganda already tried that in 2014

It's fairly relentless now on some parts of the internet. We should assume that the orcs are monitoring this site and I even had my own words from this thread quoted back to me. It doesn't seem to be working though, since support for Ukraine is only getting stronger.

Apparently the orcs are really pushing to take Mariupol at the moment as a present for Vladolf Putler tomorrow. So far they haven't succeeded and it really does look like Ukraine are getting Snake Island back for good.

.....I wish the Ukrainians would have a "surprise" prepared for tomorrow, to spoil the party for the Russians abit....

Right now I wish also Germany would end these festivities for good....as long as Putin rules that is! He won't stop abusing this remembrance and pervert it...

jon357
8 May 2022  #1272

They're too busy defending Ukraine to do surprises. If there are still Ukrainian fighters in Mariupol it will be a success.

Germany bet the house on Putin.... and lost (and still doesn't want to admit the scope of the miscalculation....)

I can tell you from first hand source (an Ukrainian living in Ukraine)

Btw, today is Mother's Day in Ukraine. Earlier during the invasion she lost her mother because of the RuSSian shelling of her city.

jon357
8 May 2022  #1276

and still doesn't want to admit the scope of the miscalculation

True. The effects of this will be historic changes to the geopolitical order, especially if it goes nuclear.

Plus of course the issue of arms supply and potential kill switches.

Putler would love to control the area as far as the Vistula; it's been one of russia's strategic goals for centuries, and one that they've sometimes achieved.

We are entering very dangerous times. I've been called a scaremonger for saying this, however the post 1989 peace was never going to last forever. Nothing does.

How is that a good thing?

See, you are in denial even now! Germany and their plots are not Europe.

How is that a good thing?

Selensky will be happy that his supporters are successful....

PS: The SPD has their past Russia policy even written into their basic program:

"Security in Europe can only be achieved with Russia"

They will have to cut that out or at least change it....pronto!

Klingbeil announces new Ostpolitik

tagesschau.de/inland/spd-ostpolitik-klingbeil-ukraine-russland-101.html

...SPD chairman Lars Klingbeil has announced a realignment of his party's Ostpolitik. "We focused too much on Russia," he told Welt am Sonntag. "In the future we will have to cooperate much more closely with the Eastern European countries." The sentence in the basic program of the SPD, according to which security in Europe can only be achieved with Russia, is no longer correct against the background of the Ukraine war. ....

@maf

When they change that then this would be the ultimate acknowledgement of their failure!

"Most of them wil go back to their own counrty. There is nothing brilliant about big chunks of minorites."

It is brilliant as it shows why US is so exceptional and such a rich and successful nation due to this and its multiculyuralism and why the US has the brightest and best scientists, IT field or companies in IT, research and development etc. whats brilliant about having no minorities and just Polish people in one country?

whats brilliant about having no minorities and just Polish people in one country?

That was mostly an accident of history due to WW2 and other things. That ship has now sailed.

Tacitus
8 May 2022  #1283

Germany and their plots are not Europe.

Never claimed otherwise. But it is a fact that Europes' future would look much better if the German reasoning had turned out to be correct. All the money we now have to invest rearmament and diversifying our energy supply can not be used to adress other pressing concerns, like fighting climate change and investing into renewables or tech companies that will keep us competetive for the future

Russian space agency chief boasts of nuclear capabilities, claims NATO would lose 'in 30 minutes'.
I have a feeling you are about to find out in the near future that there are no winners in a nuclear war, BoZo.

mafketis
8 May 2022  #1285

if Putin had not lost the plot.

He only 'lost the plot' because Europe (esp though not only Germany) allowed him to become so powerful.... and by 'him' I mean 'Russia' Putin is a symptom and not the disease (which is the sick and violent Russian imperial mindset that exists independenlty of any particular Tsar of the moment.

security in Europe can only be achieved with Russia

Home security can only be achieved with burglars....

Financial security can only be achieved with embezzlers....

Health can only be achieved though poison....

same logic

jon357

claims NATO would lose 'in 30 minutes'

They are all mouth and no trousers. Generally the opposite of anything russia says is true. They must be running out of sabres to rattle.

One firing from one of the UKs Trident subscan take out 116 russian cities in one go. There are 4 such subs, and russia has no defence against them. They could be anywhere in the world and he has no idea where. Add France to that and the US, the central populated region of Russia would be glass. Putler knows this already.

Europe (esp though not only Germany)

They backed the wrong horse and of course standing behind a horse is dangerous. The geopolitical shifts caused by this war are not likely to favour states that sat on the fence or even supported russia.

Bratwurst Boy
8 May 2022  #1287

Putin is a symptom and not the disease

Then how do you explain leaders like Gorbatschow? Without him there would be no free Poland today, and no reunified Germany.....

Without russian "Perestroika" we would all bow to our overlord Putin!

The geopolitical shifts caused by this war are not likely to favour states that sat on the fence or even supported russia.

....that would make much more sense when you would supplant "Russia" with Putin!

The moment Russia gets a rational leadership again countries will stand in queues to get into Moscow again....Russia is to big to fail or to ignore or to isolate forever!

"We should have not stopped at Berlin; we should have pushed straight to Moscow" - General Patton

If USA had listened to him, Euraisanism would't be a problem, nor CCP. western hemisphere would't have been infected with Frankfurt neo marxism and entered in decline.

the usa troops were vast,y of inferior quality (sherman tanks vs t34s) and outnumbered by the red army worse than even the germans were by 1944-1945.

One firing from one of the UKs Trident subscan take out 116 russian cities in one go

I think NATO would only target two Russian cities and the rest would be military installations in Russia and around the world including their subs and nuclear sites.

If Russia retaliated and took out the liberal cities like Washington D.C., Chicago, New York, San Francisco, L.A., Seattle, Detroit, Philidelphia, St. Louis......it would be a blessing to America really.
