More Azovstal fighters. Like paintings from an earlier age, just as russia's vile behaviour belongs in the past.

Quoting:

NATO state labels Russia 'supporter of terrorism'.
Lithuania's parliament, the Seimas, unanimously passed a resolution on Tuesday accusing Russia of genocide and terrorism in Ukraine.

The "large-scale armed aggression" launched by Russia against Ukraine on February 24 amounts to "genocide of the Ukrainian people," the document said.

"The Russian Federation, whose military forces deliberately and systematically bomb civilian targets, is a state that supports and practices terrorism."

Now I will let you guess where the above came from...

House approves nearly $40 billion in aid to Ukraine as it fights off Russian aggression.
American taxpayers money at work.
I would have rather seen it spent on finishing The Wall.

A realistic view of the invasion by NY Times, of course the situation will change with the Ukranian counter attack in 2+ months. I think we should cut down on the Ruskis/Ukranians are kicking ass and demolishing the opposition type posts.

Ukraine War's Geographic Reality: Russia Has Seized Much of the East

"Russians enjoy the added advantage of naval dominance in the Black Sea, the only maritime route for Ukrainian trade, which they have paralyzed with an embargo that could eventually starve Ukraine economically and is already contributing to a global grain shortage."

"The Russians aren't winning, and the Ukrainians aren't winning, and we're at a bit of a stalemate here," said Lt. Gen. Scott D. Berrier, the director of the Pentagon's Defense Intelligence Agency,"

"It never ends. At all," Mr. Grigorov said. "Whole neighborhoods are destroyed. For days, for weeks, they have been shelling. They are intentionally annihilating our infrastructure and the civilian population."

I wouldn't say "much of the east" ...

...especially that Ukraine is already counterattacking and Ukrainian troops are very close to reaching the russian border in some points. Imagine what will happen when the American lend-lease project fully kicks in! Leand-lease project has historically been effective against genocidal nazis and I think this time it will be very effective against nazis too.

They are intentionally annihilating our infrastructure and the civilian population.

Exactly. Commiting genocide in other words. But what can you expect from a terrorist nazi state? That's what nazis do - they commit genocide.

...after the russian nazis are defeated, russia will have to be totally and thoroughly denazified.

For all those who like to look back at the past and compare it to today or the future...Reflecting on the Cuban missile crisis, US President John Kennedy once warned that nuclear powers "must avert those confrontations which bring an adversary to a choice of either a humiliating retreat or a nuclear war." Kennedy's logic is resounding poignantly as Putin gets backed into a corner by the strategic disaster of his war.

Another fine morning in Krakow. How's the $hi* hole of Moscow or where every you Orc's are from? Happy gulag biatches.

'credible' information about Ukrainian troops torturing Russian prisoners

Did they film it like the Russians do when they torture?

twitter.com/CanadianUkrain1/status/1524094645382393860

And then there's this.... a Russian soldier tells his mommy how he tortures prisoners and mommy kind of gets off on it....

Putin has been backed into a corner by his own army's poor performance. But even then there is a simple way out - pack up all his junk and bring his useless army home.

He doesn't even need to declare victory... he can just deep six mention of it. It's not like there's a free press that will be dissecting the failure they'll just stop talking about it and start hyping up something else (probably a run up to show trials)......

His state media are preparing the public for defeat by telling them (speaking the truth for once) that mother russia can't match the might of NATO (not that NATO is a belligerent in this) and that everyone is against them.

Lavrov looks ill and tired too - probably worried about The Hague. Certainly he will never set foot on EU soil again (except Budapest maybe)

Looking at that map the next logical step is to liberate the Donbas and Luhansk banana republics. The Ukrainians will truly be welcomed - the inhabitants are disgusted by the behavior of their gangster leaders and the Russian troops who have been "borrowing" their belongings and defaecating in their gardens

Graham wants Putin regime change

All sane and moral people want Putin out.

more NATO

That seems to have been one of Putin's goals... strengthen and grow NATO! Great job, Vova!

Congress $40B to Elensky.

It's a sin to tell a lie. The money goes to Ukraine the country. Your affinity for Russian kleptocracy makes you think that it will be stolen and turned into yachts (as happens in the thieves Kingdom of Russia). Stop worshipping thieves and come to the Ukrainian side!

A Pole talks about what he saw, heard and experienced in Ukraine when driving with humanitarian help over there:

sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/999559/kibic-ostrovii-ruszyl-z-pomoca-do-ukrainy-to-co-zobaczyl-i-uslyszal-przeraza

"but our interviewee was most shocked by what he heard from an elderly lady, who told him about the massacre which Russians perpetrated on the inhabitants of Bucha. - She was maybe over 70 already. She was talking about rapes even on two-year-old kids. Her acquaintances, mother and daughter, were raped and then they killed the mother. The teenage girl went back home and committed suicide. In one of the villages the invaders allegedly were driving over the bodies of Ukrainians with tanks - reports Sodkiewicz."

Certainly he will never set foot on EU soil again (except Budapest maybe)

Or Italy?:

Denazification & demilitarisation of Russian

Yes. The russian occupied areas do need denazifying and demilitarising.

And it's happening more and more every day as the orcs are beaten back.

"Heroic Polish nation, from the first day of the war you have been tirelessly helping Ukraine with everything you can. The Ukrainians thank you with all their hearts "."

also "Kyiv residents voted for renaming the "Minsk" metro station into "Warsaw" station. Now the City Council is going to take a decision."

People in Poland are slowly starting to have enough of new people coming. I don't mean they hate on them as there are some few that always talk nosense. I mean that on general level there is no warm welcome attitude no more. Not not true for all as usual but I can notice there is more ...how to say - a polite distance towards them.

People in Poland are slowly starting to have enough of new people coming.

Hint - start taking a signed certificate from the residents of the western regions already living at the expense of Polish taxpayers that they do not receive income from renting the real estate left in Ukraine to those refugees from the eastern regions who cannot leave the country because of the man's draft status. With the legally significant consequences of giving a false certificate. You will see how many faces will change on that news... ;)

Paulina
11 May 2022  #1,650

@Velund, I doubt that someone who's getting money from renting a flat back in Ukraine would like to live in a small flat with a Polish family and would find 40 PLN a day from the Polish government impressive - that's the money that a Polish family is supposed to be getting for hosting a refugee from Ukraine. That is - if they will even get that 40 PLN, because many Polish hosts haven't received that money so far and they are running out of money, because they have to support two families now.

There are Ukrainians who still have their own money and they want to rent flats and many want to work and not live "at the expense of Polish taxpayers".
