Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 2

jon357
11 May 2022  #1,741

Is he really still acting rational???

it really is one of the greatest own goals. He is probably a risk taking sociopath surrounded by yes men and an inflated idea of russia's capabilities, plus of course the one thing he didn't expect, that there would be such near worldwide resolve against him and the wrong combination of world leaders for him right now.

Some commentators say that this window was his last chance before a drive to net zero wipes out much of his income in the long term.

He's clearly been planning it for years and wanted to go down him history (he's either 69 or 71 and dying) as a great leader. It hasn't worked.

Russia is an enemy - both Lavrov and Medvedev explicitly said they consider Poland in their sphere of influence and that our membership of NATO should have first been agreed with a bunch of corrupt sprat munching alcoholics

They are supposed to be on the way back home when the shooting stops.

Except it never happens when they move to a wealthier country. The Ukranians that went to Moldova which is even poorer will likely come back, but not the ones that went to Poland. The average salary in Ukraine is around $400, the average salary in Poland is around $1,100 - nearly 3x more. Maybe some of the women with small children will go back but I'd say it's more likely that the husband eventually join his family in Poland.

It's just not going to end well for Poland. It's billions unnecessarily spent, a huge demographic shift, etc.

The only good thing is that at least it's Ukranians and not turd worlders so they actually want to work and won't be causing any instances of "spontaneous cultural enrichment" of the rape, vehicle or bomb type

@Dirk diggler

I really don't see your problem with Ukrainians in Poland and I am sure that most Poles agree with me and not with you.

11 May 2022  #1,748

both Lavrov and Medvedev explicitly said they consider Poland in their sphere of influence

Yes, up to the Vistula, inhabited or not. They have always been clear about that.

Russia might still terrorise Georgia or Moldavia,

They'll think twice about that now.

turd worlders

That's probably how real Americans see Dirk...

Except it never happens when they move to a wealthier country.

Not everyone is obsessed with money as you are, rebuilding and patriotism comes to mind, as well as being with elderly relatives. Plus after the war the ukranian social media machine will focus on getting them back. You think that the poles who found themselves in Great Britain after world war 2, a vast amount of them would have gone back to poland if it was not ruled by the soviets? Besides it is majority of woman and children and they will integrate, marry polish men etc.

It's just not going to end well for Poland. It's billions unnecessarily spent, a huge demographic shift, etc.

Poles and the posters here will never admit it because they know it would be pointless and, on top of that, like in any Western "democracy", nobody is asking how Poles really feel. A perfect case of Stockholm syndrome; when powerless, it's best to like your oppressors.

Besides it is majority of woman and children and they will integrate, marry polish men etc.

True integration means feeling you are Polish with no hyphens. Just speaking Polish is the first step but not proof of integration. How many generations will it take if ever?

Russia is an enemy

If Russia is an enemy, NATO is an enemy. Russia doesn't like enemies that close. Hence, the red line.
And that is why, my dear children, Russia is in Ukraine trying to prevent Ukraine and its resources from falling into the enemy's hands. Duh!

See how simple things actually are when blind hate is replaced with logic and reason.

No idea how Poles think and that is no surprise - the closest they get to Poland is a boozy Sunday at the Red Apple buffet with some sweating trays of bigos

NATO crossed the red line and must face the consequences - a bunch of dipsomaniac conscripts who don't know which end t hold a gun and are only interested in how much tinned food they can take back to their unlit, badly heated villages

Ukraine attacked a pontoon bridge the Russians had setup with artillery fire, didn't end well for the Russians.

twitter.com/UAWeapons/status/1524413089579511808

At least 25 tanks and APC's and vehicles destroyed, probably more in the water that can't be seen. This looks like north of $100M of machinery,

It's likely that significantly more men and machines were destroyed and a major Russian offensive to encircle Lysychansk (in Luhansk) was stopped.

"After one day of combats, 9th May morning the bridge was down. Some Russian forces (~30-50 vehicles + infantry) were stuck on Ukrainian side of the river with no way back. They tried to run away using broken bridge. Then they tried to arrange a new bridge. Then, Aviation started heavy bombing of the area and it destroyed all the remains of Russians there, and other bridge they tried to make. Rumours say it's ~1500 RU dead. Their strategic objective was to cross the river and then encircle Lysychansk. They miserably failed."

In other news Russia admits it faces economic collapse over Putin's war.
"Russia's economy has plunged into its worst crisis for almost three decades as the country is battered by Western sanctions, a leaked copy of the Kremlin's own forecasts shows. The Russian finance ministry is predicting a 12pc collapse in GDP this year, the biggest contraction since 1994 when it was shifting towards capitalism under Boris Yeltsin, the first post-Soviet president."|

Enjoy your potato soup once a day velund! I'm sure Bobko will be making money off his people somehow, selling human organs or starving russian brides in the USA.

When you move to another country permanently and don't embrace your new country you live in a sort of a cultural limbo. Poland moves on and one doesn't integrate in their new found country.

Ukrainians also have their victory parades. Columns for 10 liters of diesel. How do they intend to continue the war without infrastructure? American workers will not come to rebuild their ruins.

Great news.

You think that the poles who found themselves in Great.Britain after world war 2, a vast amount of them would have gone back to poland

Around half returned to Poland and half (mostly people whose homes were taken into Belarus or Ukraine or who were Ukrainians born territory that was part of inter-war Poland or who had married people that didn't want to go there) remained in the U.K.

Ukrainians also have their victory parades

They certainly will. Unlike russia who are losing. Very good news about Finland and Sweden joining NATO.

Putler has had one success only; uniting the free world against russia.

How do they intend to continue the war without infrastructure?

Well, you can keep trusting Russian MoD and delusional accounts on twitter, and ponder: why country whose entire airforce was obliterated in first day of war, has soldiers surrendereing en masse every day and has lost three times its initial inventory of heavy equipment is still only lettting GLORIOUS RUSSIAN ARMY take one-two villages per week.

Zakharova responded to Kuleba's threats to the EU

10.05.2022 16:57

1

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova commented on the threats of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba to the European Union.

Earlier, the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said earlier that the EU's refusal to accept the country into its ranks would be perceived as an attempt by Europe to deceive Kyiv. According to him, Ukraine "will not swallow it," writes Radio Sputnik.

"Before that, they swallowed. And it worked out well", Zakharova wrote in her Telegram channel.

You are few days behind the news.

Poland, as a country, should be ashamed of such stupidity.

Really? What should be USA be ashamed as country of?
1. Those were Ukrainians.
2. That ambassador is a well trained by some Russian spy agency and he went there to provoke sothing like that.
3. Polish government act coy - we told him not to go. While the police protected after some red soup was put on him.
I think it was stupid of the Polish government to allowed that to happen they should just send him packing to Moscow.
Stil I think it is stupid to expect a country to be ashamed of what happned to him.

Greene Speaks Out Against $40B Ukraine Bill: "Stop Funding Regime Change And Money Laundering Scams!"

May. 10, 2022

1

Georgia Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene (R) on Tuesday went off on the uniparty for risking nuclear war with Russia by advancing a bill to provide Ukraine with an astonishing $40 billion in military and economic aid.

Greene shared lowlights from the bill and questioned whether Biden was getting kickbacks in the bill in the form of $17 million going to the president for "operating expenses."

The Ukraine $40 billion giveaway passed the House 368 to 57, just hours after the text of the bill was released.

On Monday, Biden massively escalated the US proxy war with Russia by signing the bipartisan Ukraine Democracy Defense Lend-Lease Act into law, which is aimed at providing Ukraine with endless weaponry.

Our corrupt leaders won't lift a finger to help Americans in America but they'll risk triggering a global nuclear holocaust on behalf of the corrupt puppet regime in Ukraine.

Russia does one thing better than any other country in the world....

My mother had to learn German at school and she hated it. When I asked her why she said that because of the WWII (and she wasn't even alive at that time). So, repercussions for Russia and Russians due to this war will last for years in our region...

Video of russian soldiers murdering civilians (shooting them in the back)...

Minutes after they shot the owner and that elderly guy in the back they were drinking and looting that car dealership:

edition.cnn.com/2022/05/11/europe/ukraine-video-russian-soldiers-shoot-civilians/index.html

Pure scum.

It's good that CNN has shown this video. The media should be showing as much visual evidence as possible.

Just been to the Chagall exhibition in Warsaw - made me think about the villages swept away by the Nazis and Soviets

And here we have it happening again in real time. So when these war criminals are rounded up then they must really be studied by psychologists and psychiatrists and neurologists.

Why do they do it ? They can't plead ignorance or only obeying orders. Is it fun when they are doing it ? How do the feel the next day ? The next month ?

Are you f*cking kidding me? Russia as a country should ashamed of what they're doing in Ukraine. That "ambassador" is a sleazy, lying mouthpiece of Kremlin and he knew very well what may happen if he goes there. After that incident the Polish ambassador was adviced by the Polish side not to go out of the embassy expecting a revenge. And I guess he heeded the advice, because those Russian idiots poured the red paint at the building of the Polish embassy instead - there's even a video lol:
