Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 2

Crow

It has not been an invasion, just peace keeping operation.

Oh, but sovereignty of Serbia should be to you equally important as sovereignty of Ukraine. If nothing else, that is how international order works. That is, either there are universal principles or there are no principles. See? There is order or there is no order?

Nothing at all like Russians did in Chechnya.

Again. You have to respect Russia`s sovereignty, too. Don`t seek to find excuses.

You have to respect Russia`s sovereignty, too

Would you have respected Germany's sovereignty between 1939 and 1949?

But NATO, Vatican and EU respect. They recognized formation of Greater Croatia with nazi regime on the ruins of Yugoslavia and first such a state was created by Nazi Germany during WW2. All the world sow how NATO and EU ailed themselves with united Germany and Islamic league to destroy sovereign Yugoslavia and Serbia.

Then also, you see yourself how NATO and EU desperately defend borders drawn by communists. All over the former Yugoslavia and Soviet Union.

What this all means?

Finland WILLl apply to join NATO !

Thanks to Putin, NATO will now gain one of the strongest militaries in entire Europe and outright the largest by far, most modern artillery force of entire Europe including Russian assets in it's European regions.

Thank you Putin.

Because of you, one of the largest, one of the strongest and one of the best prepared modern militaries by your borders will join NATO. Finally Baltics will not be isolated. And it's all thanks to you. I hope you will be proud of your achievements.

Saw a video of drunk Russian morons driving their tank over some Ukrainian parked cars. Just shows all the reasons these idiots will lose the war

Wasting petrol, damaging their tank, creating resentment in any bystanders who will remember that in 50 years time. And think of all the savings and overtones the poor owners had to put in to buy these modest vehicles.

Velund still thinks being a tank commander is something honorable - in fact the tank corps are just drunk vandals. Still they have a life expectancy of a few weeks so maybe they are entitled to a bit of joyriding

@Korvinus

This is not to be praised. We witness ruination of once prosperous country. A suicide.

But, after all, that is destine of entire western Europe. All their power, progress and soft power came from colonial rule, from loathing and genocides.

Time to go in oblivion, it seams.

Yes, Russia will now have an 800-mile NATO border to its West, thanks to Putin.
Now NATO can come back home to America and the E.U. should be able to defend itself.

Nazi Germany during WW2

And it didn't survive the war.

Those nationalistic attitudes, did they survive? Yes, you have them, Putler has them and those who actually have power do not share them.

All their power, progress and soft power

Is currently helping Ukraine thoroughly poon russia and is happy to fill the void as pan-slavism (killed by the country who invented it) disappears never to return.

they have a life expectancy of a few weeks

In WW2 a russian tank crew had a life expectancy of six weeks. A tank was expected to be usable for up to six months. Not much has changed for them, and an appalling way to treat their own citizens.

Thank you very much Mr Putain - it would never happen if it wasn't for your retarded "special operation". :)

It wasn't retarded in its aim. It that Russia is inept and corrupt to the core and badly lead. That Russia for you they have their moments but in the end it is not worth it.

Don't jump the gun quite yet.
Turkey now believes it can use its NATO membership to prevent Finland and Sweden from joining, potentially weakening the alliance at a crucial time.

one lesson from this war is that it's time to stop the Mini Trumps from vetoing sensible suggestions. Erdogan, Orban and even JK will have to get with the program and decide which side of the fence they want to be on

jon357

Looks like it will.

Indeed. It's a given that they'll join, and even the troublesome countries have said they won't stand in the way.

Turkey may try to negotiate concessions (involving planes) however this is nothing new,

At least France isn't making ructions. NATO staff at HQ in Brussels when they're chatting by the water cooler divide countries into 'swimmers' and 'non-swimmers'. The non-swimmers always want something and try to manipulate according to their country's individual priorities whereas the swimmers are on board with the concept of collective defence. France and Turkey are among the non-swimmers however they are both strategically.important for the alliance and use this to further their own objectives.

Trumps from vetoing sensible suggestions. Erdogan, Orban and even JK

Quite. Let them get with the programme.

Fortunately this war is rapidly sounding the death knell for loud-mouthed populists.

I couldn't agree more. This reminds me of the situation with the Polish "liberum veto" from the times of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth - one Member of the Parliament was enough to veto the whole voting in the Parliament! It is seen as one of the reasons for the downfall of Poland:

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberum_veto

"Many historians hold that the liberum veto was a major cause of the deterioration of the Commonwealth political system, particularly in the 18th century, when foreign powers bribed Sejm members to paralyze its proceedings, and the Commonwealth's eventual destruction"

Is currently helping Ukraine

No, they just desperately fights for more and more scarce resources, while cold winter is coming. That`s why they created anti-Russia out of Ukraine, that`s why banderists walk in Ukraine, that`s why EU initiated maiden, that`s why NATO want to spread.

All because USA and western European magnates does not believe in talk on the behalf of mutual interests. On the behalf of mutual interests. They understand peace as peace under solely their conditions. Order of Uni-Polar world.

To that Russia said NO.

while cold winter is coming

Where? The Southern Hemisphere? Putler and Lavroll aren't invading that as well, are they?

under solely their conditions

Under conditions where malign state actors don't carry out chemical weapons attacks or shoot down passenger planes, where rogue states don't poison their opposition leaders, where scummy kleptocracies don't support bizarre puppet states like Transnistria, South Ossetia and Abkhazia, where huge tank armies don't invade their freedom loving neighbour, where thermobaric bombs aren't fired at theatres with civilians sheltering in, where there aren't mass executions of civilians with bound hands and where babies aren't raped.

To that Russia said NO

russia can **** off.

JK will have to get with the program

I very much doubt it as Poland and it's government is celebrated in the U.S right now, they are seen as prescient as warning about the threat from Putin ever since Lech flew to Georgia. As opposed to the Merkel alligned pro russian opposition. Besides JK will be handing over the reigns to Morawiecki , he's old. so it[s all good for Poland :)

Fortunately this war is rapidly sounding the death knell for loud-mouthed populists.

You of course mean Trump. When Trump was president Putin didn't invade, in fact if Trump was still President there wouldn't be any Russian invasion.

Every time we get the Globalist Washington establishment in power we get war (George W Bush and HW Bush). And that's why there is a bit of skepticism in America about the war in Ukraine which periodically shows up in this forum.

Spot on post! And we would still be energy independent and without all this crazy spending and inflation.

war in Ukraine which periodically shows up in this forum.

Who would have thought we would be able to get rid of our #2 enemy without one American boot on the ground though. The feared RuSSian military turned out to be a laughing stock.. Its only a matter of time before his own turn against him.

And Trump made the deal in Afghanistan with the Taliban for the US to leave, but left the mess for Biden. And the US was not energy independent under Trump. You guys are Fing delusional and don't remember even recent history. Trump was a Putin puppet.

Turkey yesterday saying publicly they will not stand in the way of Sweden and Finland joining NATO.

No people can talk and debate - but unanimity over urgent issues is being held up by niche concerns - like some Kurdish emigres in Sweden.

NATO and the EU are at heart democratic projects, so they shouldn't be used as tools by local strongmen who have managed to trash the institutions in their own country

Forced Russification is taking place in occupied territories - school headmasters are being abducted, teachers threatened, Ukrainian textbooks are being confiscated. Since majority of Ukrainian teachers refuse to take part in the Russification apparently Russians plan to import teachers from Crimea:

edition.cnn.com/2022/05/16/europe/russia-ukraine-education-intl-cmd/index.html

'He said Russian propaganda reframing historical events was inserted into Crimea's school program -- something he says has had a hugely detrimental effect on children there.

"Ukraine has been totally withdrawn from the schoolbooks and everything becomes the 'history of Russia,'" Okhredko explained. "Children in occupation are really very much influenced being educated in [a] system which constantly needs to have an enemy. Now the enemies are the United States and Ukraine. And this hostility starts to come out among children in form of aggression."'

I can read a lot of nosense here but you are doing overtime here. Don't fall over the ege in your egerness, for the flatworlders it is a long and scary fall.

Trump was a Putin puppet.

have you gave your tin foil hat a good shine? lol!

If you support that EU GErman and France grap on power you are insane. It is not in Poland interest's. Also the second referdum would be needed as it is not the EU Poland joined.

brave Poles,

Damn right! Say it again without your Mongol scorn! WE at least have somthing to offer not only sh..t and scum like Russia. Oh you are so great but still going to sh/..t in the bushes.

It's not an EU grab on power - it's an EU oil embargo on a war criminal - for whatever reason Orban is holding it up.

Maybe the solution is that Hungary can import the rapists oil but any products made from that are shunned informally by the rest of the EU

And I am as concerned by you about French and German behavior. They seem to think Russia is just a bad thing we should live with, like diabetes.

We will have to find a way to live with Russia down the line once this war ends. Putins' reign will end one day, but Russia will still be around.
