Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 2

When Moscow let Ukraine be separate

Moscow did not "let" Ukraine be separate... the internal contradictions of the USSR (a massive and unworkable white elephant of a country) tore it apart and most of the constituent parts are better off on their own.

Western meddlers will organize a cute "revolution"

Dumb idea. Of course there were some Americans around ready and willing to interfere or to try ot direct things (there always are) but the 2013-14 revolution of dignity was the work of the Ukrainian people.

Why do you refer to what is supposed to be "your" county as "the snake"? Unhealthy....

well done Vlad.

Once more..... Vlad is not a Russian nickname, it's a Romanin full name....

In Russia Pootin's nickname is Vova.... as in this monstrosity...

Snake = NATO.

an independent, sovereign European country

Revolutions, like elections, have consequences. They wanted to have a revolution and ignore the Minsk agreement so now they have Russians showing their displeasure. Simple.

the US decided to invade

Why would anyone want to attack Russia, let alone from territory of Ukraine? The only valuable thing Russia has is located in Syberia.
The greatest threat to Russia is not NATO, which is a defensive alliance, is its own demography.

Vlad the Underpants-Poisoner's accomplishments so far:

Losing Ukraine to the West
Making Russia a pariah state
Setting the Russian economy back 30 years
NATO increasing its military presence in Eastern Europe + Finland and Sweden joining NATO
The destruction of the Russian army (ongoing)
Accelerating the Russian brain drain and demographic problem
Uniting Europe like never before
Hastening the transition from fossil fuel to renewable energy sources, thus utterly dooming the Russian economy in the long run

Did I forget something?

Did I forget something?

Not much, although I'd add that he's contributed to the food instability that's looming this year and next; russia will be at the back of the queue when it comes to international aid. I'd also point out that their military and economic adventures in Africa and elsewhere are now far less viable by the day, leaving a great opportunity for the U.K. and the U.S. in certain complicated regions. China too, however that's a different story; they may well have their eyes set on Siberian minerals.

now they have Russians showing their displeasu

Ukraine will emerge from the war ultimately stronger while Russia will be weakened for decades.... not only is the loss of young men in a stupid and pointless imperial exercise tragic but Pootin has driven tens and thousands of the best and brightest of young adults out of the country.

I wouldn't be surprised if Russia doesn't survive the coming domestic issues.... (breaking apart is entirely reasonable especially without an army to keep things together, the place to look is the far east which has been unhappy with Moscow for some time now....).

I know - I was thinking Vlad the Impaler, actually and it's handy that it's short for Vladimir in Anglo style :)He has rather a reputation for war crimes. The one-time Romanian defense minister and MEP Ioan Mircea Pașcu said that Vlad would have been condemned for crimes against humanity had he been put on trial at Nuremberg.

They wanted to have a revolution

Against whom were they revolting?

Some lovely news. There have been explosions reported in Tiraspol, the 'capital' of Transdnistria, the russian puppet state between Ukraine and Moldova.

Edit: shooting in the capital too. It gets better.

Vlad the Underpants-Poisoner's accomplishments so far:

You should be rejoicing and be in favor of Russia attacking Ukraine. Without that, the following would not take place:

Losing Ukraine to the West
Making Russia a pariah state
Setting the Russian economy back 30 years
NATO increasing its military presence in Eastern Europe + Finland and Sweden joining NATO
The destruction of the Russian army (ongoing)
Accelerating the Russian brain drain and demographic problem
Uniting Europe like never before
Hastening the transition from fossil fuel to renewable energy sources, thus utterly dooming the Russian economy in the long run

Ukraine will emerge from the war ultimately stronger while Russia will be weakened for decades....

I am glad to see that you support Russia invading Ukraine. Without the invasion, Ukraine would be weaker and Russia stronger.

glad to see that you support Russia invading Ukraine

There are easier and better ways for national growth (and national destruction). This is the model Pootin has chosen in his long term Ukrainian nation building project.... (he's really done more for Ukrainian nationalism than anyone in the last 100 years...).

Send him a thank you card. By now, you should be his admirer for all the good things he did for Ukraine and the damage to Russia.

support Russia invading Ukraine

I'm don't posting this because I don't like Russia. I'd love to Russia become real country for a change. I'm against Russia cuz it is an aggressor. Stop with the invasion, send the war criminals to trial and then sanctions will be over.

Before the invasions, Russia had ZERO sanctions against the country.

Without that, the following would not take place:

You forgot a couple.......
All the dead people
All the tortured people
Doubled the gas prices
Doubled the food prices
Polluted the atmosphere with toxins
Brought the true you out of the woodwork
I could go on with my list but it's nap time.

Russia had ZERO sanctions against the country.

It did, the annexation of Crimea stopped economic growth cold for 8 years... now it's in negative territory. I too would like it if Russians decided they're rather have a happy, prosperous country but they seem to prefer being a mafia-controlled gas station that invades other countries for no good reason.,

If that's their decision, fine (except for the invading other countries part, they really need to stop that crap....)

Why even talk with this twerp? He is repeating the same things all over, again and again. He is sick in the head. Just don't talk to him. What is the point?

Maybe in part because he isn't a career politician. He's an ex comedy actor and dancer who seized a chance and ran with it.

Yea but I mean he seems to think five moves ahead of time like on a chessboard while kaczynski and crew just could think of the imemdiate move like put planes there or nato mission without a real plan etc.

five moves ahead

Most politicians are strategists. President Zelenskiy is both a strategist and a tactician.

@Strzelec35
@jon357

Zelensky is a very bright and talented man.
He has outwitted Putin so far, who is not a very bright man.
And Ukraine are very lucky to have him at this time.
He will become a Ukrainian national hero.
And Putin will be hated in Russian history.

It is hilarious in that cnn video above i posted how the chinese media guy asks him how hes getting his weapons form nato in there or almsot flat out asked what route they take to get to him and he had tot think it over and asked the question again to give himself time to answer as putin probably was listneing in.

He will become a Ukrainian national hero

On the day he said he wanted ammunition not a ride I was sat with a very old and good friend (U.K. Ukrainian diaspora), in his house watching the news in horror and said that one day there will be statues of this guy.

one day there will be statues of this guy

Without question.

I just hope he and his family survive this brutal war.

I hope he will die in the most spectacular way possible and join other dead Ukrainian heroes. Just dying from old age - my preferred way, btw - is not a sure path to monuments, books, and movies.

Or like Nicolae Ceauşescu

Quoting:

Russian and Donbass forces will observe a ceasefire around the besieged Azovstal steel mill in Mariupol starting from 2pm Moscow time on Monday, allowing civilians to evacuate to safety, the Russian Defense Ministry has said.

But we don't trust them and would rather die than...die!!! Boohoo...

Fu*cking brilliant...but I am sure it makes sense here on PF.

That nice and lovely Ukrainian "democracy"...Quoting:

'Traitors' will be executed - Ukrainian governor Head of Ukraine's Nikolaev Region, Vitaly Kim, has revealed a secret force was created to eliminate "traitors"

Vitaly Kim, who serves as the governor of Ukraine's Nikolaev Region, has warned that citizens cooperating with Russian forces will face extrajudicial execution. He revealed the chilling fate awaiting "traitors" during a live TV broadcast last Thursday.

Did you, boys and girls, notice that "extrajudicial execution"? Do you know what it means? OK, it means that they will shoot them when they catch them. No trials, no lawyers, no evidence, and none of those silly "democratic" appeals.

Personally, I am impressed since I proposed doing the same to the SAS and other extrajudicial criminals but was told that they are covered under Geneva. Lucky guys...

BTW, when you take food from a Russian, is it "cooperating"? Tomorrow, we will learn the meaning of "cooperating". Goodnight.

That Ukraine and Russia were parts of one country and that Russia is trying to end the separation -

Novichok, Russia and Ukraine have separate histories. They are not the same country. The Mongols invaded Eastern Europe in the 13th Century. They left Poland and Ukraine but they stayed and occupied Russia. This changed Russia and the Russian mindset.

Poland and Ukraine have shared histories. Ukraine was occupied by Poland and Lithuania. In fact Ukrainians and Poles have more in common with each other than Ukrainians and Russians.

You have Russian speaking people in Ukraine and other Eastern European countries, this is wholly due to Russian imperialism. Many of them were planted by Stalin as a buffer.

After WWII Politically Poland was part of the Soviet Union. They weren't independent of the Soviet Union.

Historically speaking North and South Vietnam have always been separate countries. The North was culturally influenced by China the South was influenced by India.

They are not the same country.

They were parts of one country called the USSR. Please don't make me repeat it.

After WWII Politically Poland was part of the Soviet Union. They weren't independent of the Soviet Union.

After WW2, Japan and Germany were not independent of the US. The US imposed its will on both. The USSR imposed its will on Poland. Case closed.

Eventually, what counts is the size of your fist. That is why the US invaded Iraq, not the other way around.
