Corruption is WAY worse in Ukraine than Russia and it's a much worse type. Last time I checked it's Russia that's occupying swathes of Ukraine, not the other way around. Of course they're going to suffer far more casualties than the Ukrainians - they're in an offensive position and such is Russian/Soviet military doctrine.

Poland is behaving defiantly toward the Russian Federation in the context of Ukraine, thinking that it is being protected by the United States of America. Once Ukraine not only kicks out all the Russian forces, which they haven't been able to since 2014, regains Crimea and then all the other territories Russia snatched up in the past few months, and then starts invading parts of Russia that's when Russia will be losing the war. None of that has happened nor will it. What WILL happen is that Russia is going to gradually conquer more and more Ukranian land while the Ukranians "evacuate" - pretty much the opposite of "Russia losing"

Like other Western countries, Germany won't send Ukraine tanks, but it will send heavy artillery and (unlike other Western countries) anti air tanks once the Ukrainian soldiers have finished training.


It is easier for small countries to send weapon systems because NATO defence does not depend on their contribution. Which is why it is not especially bad that the Czech Republic won't be able to field enough tanks for several months now. If Germany or the UK did the same, it would be far more problematic.
