Russia is in a corner, and no one is afraid anymore. The truth has been laid bare. The Russian military is a joke. Nukes? Putin is in a corner, but he wants to survive. A tactical nuke is possible, but nothing more, and it would be the end of him. China and India would run, and Russia would be completely cut off. Putin has only proven what the rest of the intelligent world has known. He is a street punk with little intelligence. He cannot think his way out of problems and has to create chaos in order to misdirect from other mistakes. He is simply a loser who has held on too long. History will remember him no better than Stalin.

Russia is capable of defending itself but, as most countries, is not capable of being an aggressor when a cheap hand-held weapon can take out a tank or a fighter plane.

The only country that can be very effective as an aggressor is the US; it can invade and kill with impunity. The latest example is the US killing a couple of ISIS a-holes in Syria. To the best of my knowledge, without permission from the Syrian government.

Meanwhile, more and more Russians keep running away from Putin's draft. Some try to get to the EU; Finland, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Armenia and Turkey see droves of Russians fleeing the possibility to become heroes...

Putin now wants a new "grand bargain" with the west. LMFAO Moscow feels that the agreements made at the end of the Cold War, under Presidents Mikhail Gorbachev and Boris Yeltsin, no longer reflect the Russia of today. ROTFLMFAO Putin wants to make a deal with the west? This is just too funny. He is in no position to negotiate. Sending these messages through Turkey, shows he knows he is a dead man walking now.

St. Petersburg has canceled New Years Eve celebrations in order to take those funds and use them to buy supplies for soldiers mobilized from their city. Again LMFAO because now the federal government a.k.a. cant even pick up the tab for their own mobilization efforts. Cities across Russia are being called on to pay the conscripts and supply them from their own coffers. But of course those sanctions are not working. Right Orc's?

Things are going to get very ugly inside Orc nation very soon. It is going to become very dangerous for Putin and anyone else looking to make a move on him. This message of wanting a new deal with the west is nothing more than a drowning man looking for a life preserver. Going through Turkey to deliver the message is nothing more than throwing a bone to that leadership in the hope it can be used in the final approvals of Finland and Sweden in NATO. This is my thinking. Just as I said before, there is no place for Putin now except dead, in exile, or prison.

Nah, those are excuses. Taking out a tank (let alone a fighter plane) with a cheap hand-held weapon isn't as easy as Ukrainians made it look like. It does help though if a tank is stranded due to lack of fuel, because the crew sold it or it was sold off even earlier by someone from their unit. It also helps, I think, if the aggressor country is so corrupted that it isn't capable of providing their soldiers with both basic necessities and equipment that would give them an edge on the battlefield. It's all there in that video I linked to, but I guess you haven't watched it, so I'm going to link to my post - do check out that video - it's quite an eye opener :):

Of course, it helps even more if the aggressor army is commanded by "impostors", rather than real commanders from the very bottom to the high up with both the commander-in-chief (Putin) and the minister of defence (Shoigu) having no military experience.
