Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 3

Bobko

The Ukrainian counteroffensive which you longed for has begun.

Very good! Promise me, that you will objectively monitor its progress. If you feel inclined - give me your prognosis as of today, so we can compare it later to how things went.

My prognosis - counteroffensive will drown in blood within two weeks, maximum.

From CNBC:

Belgian Energy Minister Tinne Van der Straeten warned that the next five to 10 winters in Europe will be "terrible" unless the EU swiftly moves to impose a price cap on runaway gas prices.

Poor Belgian Energy Minister doesn't realize that an "English teacher" in Poland knows better.

the EU swiftly moves to impose a price cap on runaway gas prices.

yes, that`s what they are planning to do and I said it - set a maximum price of about 1000 - 1500 euros for RuSSist gas. And RuSSists are cooked.

set a maximum price of about 1000 - 1500 euros

Care to explain how that would work in actual practice?

PolAmKrakow

@Bobko
Its simple. If Russia wants to sell gas it has to be in that price range or it wont be bought in EU. EU gas reserves for winter almost already full and Poland just discovered a huge LNG deposit of their own.

@Novichok
But what happened to all the global warming if winters are going to be so cold the next 5 to 10 years? Someone needs to make up their mind CNBC.

The counter offensive will begin as it was scheduled, the end of August beginning of September. Supply lines and supplies for Russians are toast, and they are running out of ammo. So, my prediction is Kherson is back in Ukraine hands by mid October.

that would work in actual practice?

The gas which RuSSists try to sell in Europe won`t cost more than 1500 euros. They accept such a price or fekk off and Europe will get its gas from somewhere else.

My prognosis is a crisis of morale among the unpaid Russian troops - they might be trapped in Kherson for some months before safe passage home is arranged but they won't be allowed to take all the fridges and iPads

- give me your prognosis as of today,

"The Armed Forces of Ukraine have breached the occupiers' first line of defense near Kherson."

It won't. Even my gds know that price controls = shortages. Duh!

But what happened to all the global warming

...it morphed into climate change. This way, the global freaks are never wrong. It's like going long and short at the same time - Hillary-style.

Meanwhile, Aug. 29 (UPI) -- The Russian Defense Ministry announced Monday that it will conduct military drills with forces from China and several former members of the Soviet Union amid tensions with the West over the war in Ukraine.

(Re-enforcements may be on the way big time for Russia.)

Now this sounds like China wants Tiawan back and is ready to go to war with Tiawan & the U.S. to get it.
(And what better to have an Alie like Russia to do it)
At the same time if Russia were to go to war with Europe & the U.S. to get Ukraine back things could get sketchy very quickly for Poland.

We're on the eve of destruction.
Think of all the hate there is in Russia, then take a look around at Red China.
You may leave here for four days in space.
But when you return it's the same old place.

You guys are like kids with your threats about the gas.

The gas thang is over - not just for now but for ever. No western leader is going to let themselves get dependent on Russian gas any more. Go and sell it to the Chinese and Indians, bribe their leaders if you need to.

We are going to buy from Canada and the US - normal countries who drink beer and have elections

Thank you, your forecast has been registered.

Likewise, thank you.

You do realize it's a global market. Most of the world has not sanctioned us. We are unfortunately much more dependent on pipelines when it comes to gas, as compared to oil (where we earn most of our money anyway, almost 4X what we earn on gas). However, we are not without other options even when it comes to gas. Russia is a LNG power in its own right. We don't have enough liquification terminals at the moment to completely redirect everything that goes by pipeline today, to instead travel by ship, but this can be managed over the course of a few years. In the meantime, by refusing to buy from us you will have to find the missing amount somewhere else - where you will pay much more than €1,500.

price controls = shortages.

buhahahaha amaSSing coz it means you know absolutely nothing about the situation.

this can be managed over the course of a few years.

Yes, it can, however, you don`t have these years! With sanctions of high tech, your gas and oil industry will break down within a year. You don`t produce that machinery that you use to excavate resources - it is all Western made.

And the West won`t sell you spare parts, either! la la la hahahahaha

have elections

You mean like in PRL? You are a funny guy...I remember that day when I voted so vividly...

The gas thing is over - not just for now but for ever.

Send your post to that guy in Belgium. He will be pleased.

@Bobko
Russia is burning more than one million USD in LNG per day now because they can not sell it or store it. Not arguing your point, just pointing out what is happening. I agree price setting is just for show and does nothing but keep EU from buying gas from Russia. Good political show for retards though.

pawian

to find the missing amount somewhere else - where you will pay much more than €1,500.

Not necessarily. If RuSSist gas goes down, the prices worldwide will too. Didn`t you just say?::::

You do realize it's a global market.

hahahaha

Russia is burning more than one million USD in LNG per day

10 million exactly per day.

To the shivering "democracies" it must feel the way a hungry guy feels standing in the rain and watching a rich guy eat a steak.

My prognosis is a crisis of morale among the unpaid Russian troops

Your prognosis is right. Scavenging for food, no medicines or warm clothes, ancient equipment and being picked off like rats with their supply lines destroyed and no way to flee.

Russia is burning more than one million USD in LNG per day now because they can not sell it or store it.

Yes. Despite their constant lies about economic data, their economy is trashed for a long time in the future.

Even germany won't be able to return to a dependence on r*SSian gas when this is over; Nordstream 2 is history and r*SSia is tainted.

Like I said, it is something the members agreed on trying to reach, not a binding condition. Most countries do not spend 2% and

So why didn't they reach it? Poland and the UK do. So do the U.S. and Croatia.

Are you trying to say that germany can't afford it while Poland and others can?

Perhaps they were acting on r*SSia's instructions; they were certainly acting in r*SSia's interests as they have consistently done for a long time and are still doing now by buying their gas and paying for it in roubles.

And as you were told, germany is a drain on NATO; it contributes little, has an 'army' so useless that they have to practise with dummy wooden rifles yet expects to be defended by other members in a time of need.

jon357
29 Aug 2022  #1790

Indeed.

r*SSia has to be stopped, and as I've always said, if people, countries, whatever are doing something, it shouldn't be done in a half-assed way. That includes NATO and our shared defence.

29 Aug 2022  #1791

almost certainly.... the entire political class of Germany seems to be made up of traitors.... disgraceful that the public doesn't even seem aware....(or doesn't care?)

Shouldn't Germany be expelled from NATO for giving weapons to Putan? It only makes sense when dealing with such dishonest and backstabbing Germans.

Arent you Eurps remotely concerned about that nuclear power plant exploding or are you hoping the fallout drifts over Russia? It doesnt seem like a well though out plan, its something like Biden would do.

pawian
29 Aug 2022  #1794

remotely concerned about that nuclear power plant exploding

Of course not. Poland is under special protection of Mary the Queen of Poland. No misfortune can happen to us. It is strange you don`t know such fundamentally basic things.

Most people don't realise how dangerous it is.

Atomic power experts however have been sh1tting themselves since February.

disgraceful that the public doesn't even seem aware....(or doesn't care?)

Apparently Scholtz is heckled everywhere he goes now. Germans surely suspect the level of r*SSian infiltration in public life but prefer not to think about bad things.

Good news vatniks, Russia has once again eliminated the entire Ukrainian air force. Bravo. To eliminate it once would be impressive enough, but to eliminate it three times in a row is truly outstanding.

The orcs can do anything.

After all, they've made a three-day 'special operation' last six months.
