A Moscow municipality has become the second Russian local authority this week to take the risk of calling for Putin's resignation.
The letter addressed to the president by council deputies at Lomonosovsky Municipal District did not directly mention Putin's invasion of Ukraine, but did refer to how Russia had now become "feared and hated" while "aggression" has taken the country back to the "Cold War era."

Once again the troll farm is quiet. That happens when talk is not backed up by action. As everyone is getting up to live another day, more Orc's are dying in Ukraine than ever before. This massive defeat for Russia tells us a lot. Not only are they getting destroyed on the field, but clearly Russian intelligence is non-existent. Their drone capability and satellite capability is next to zero. They should have seen these troop movements and preparations. But they didn't and now they will pay with more deaths and more soldiers captured. Imagine what will happen when the front line shrinks and Russia is forced to defend the south with fewer soldiers, fewer weapons and a massive Ukraine buildup surrounding them on three sides. There will only be two options. Retreat back to Russia or die.

Reports that Russian troops in Kherson are downing tools - unpaid, not enough supplies and the DNR troops complain that the Russian troops have more food and even water.

Don't worry though - they are sending some Chechens and probably some Syrians and Malians too, they should at least be used to going without water and food.

Away from the front European industry is finding out that the US and Norwegian gas is better quality and more effort than Gazprom product. No wonder both countries are supply more missiles to protect their new market.

I watched the Gazprom video essentially showing Europe in an ice age as they shut off the gas. Beautiful production actually, but if its not airing in Europe, who TF is it supposed to scare? More Russian propaganda for Russians, and they aren't believing it any more. Was in the single digit last night in Krakow. Have not turned my heat on, and an extra blanket not yet needed. Russia is going to pay a high price for decades and they will achieve nothing.

Now that the Russians are waking up to the facts that Putin is a Fing brainless twat, someone should be ready to take him out pretty soon you would think. Whoever takes him out would be an international hero.

Maybe the west should make a video for Russians with all Mercedes on sale, TV's and smart phones all on sale, and good Polish vodka being given away by PiS for Christmas to all people in the country. Just a thought.

This thing in Europe is rapidly becoming rather serious for the world.
Putin's decision to end the flow of gas through the Nord Stream 1 pipeline has caused an enormous derivatives crisis to blow up in Europe, and it is going to take a giant mountain of money to fix it.

Some are already referring to this as a "Lehman Brothers moment" for the European financial system, and authorities all over the EU are really starting to freak out.

If the Europeans are not able to contain the damage, we could soon see a financial panic sweep across the entire globe.
And I pray to our God the Father above that Europe doesn't expect the United States to bail them out again.

It is more than clear that the EU industry CANNOT be competitive with such prices for energy products. It is clear that the Americans enjoy it, because in this way they easily outclass one of their biggest competitors, i.e. their industries, of the EU. You don't need more proof than this that at the head of the EU are the most ordinary, transatlantic marionettes.

There is no panic here at all. People are laughing about the gas price panic that the media is trying to create. Everyone I know is prepared for higher prices by lowering their heat, and dressing warmer. We knew this was coming for months and have had plenty of time to prepare. All LNG reserves were at 85% almost two weeks ago. USA is going to make a ton exporting gas to Europe from now on. There is zero panic. If anything, the US should be happy this happened and opened a whole new market for LNG exports. It could also result in boosting US crude production creating more income and jobs in the US. Dont think for a minute that all of this, and the rebuilding business of Ukraine has been an afterthought.

The Daily Telegraph is reporting that it's now past the point of no return, that Putler is certainly finished and possibly r*SSia is finished too with republics within the federation seceding.

The reparations will be close to or exceed a trillion and the war crimes trials will be the largest ever.
