They were fighting against real Nazis then, though, who were invading their country. I can't imagine the same motivation being there, no matter how many times the Kremlin propagandists will use the word "Nazis".

Thing is....as I see it now Putin was taken for a ride by his "advisors" and probably truly thought his troops would be greeted with hearts and flowers and all would be over by the sixth weeks max.

So that's how he sold it to army and people....and they believed....the awakening is/will be cruel!

Not going to happen Bobko - in WW2 you had millions of men and American equipment and were fighting a just cause with high morale.

So, once Russia done exactly the same what was done by US/NATO in first days of intervention to Serbia and Iraq - we hear that this can be done only by "country of thieves with no respect for truth or honor (and not deserving any respect) an inferior country full of inferior people".

BTW: NATO used bombs with carbon fiber in attacks to Serbia, to assure that any high voltage equipment near zone of explosion, even not physically damaged, will be electrically damaged beyond repair. Russia has something to learn for nearest future.

U.S.A's wrong doing's does not excuse Russia to do the same.

Besides, Russia is not a world power tasked with correcting misbehaving states. U.S.A has had that role out of necessity.

So nice to get caught up on more than two pages of postings over night. Reading the news, drinking a coffee and having a laugh at the feeble attempts of the Orc supporters at defending the massive defeats Russia is taking in Ukraine. The level of these defeats no one could have predicted or hope for. Not only are the Orcs nearly in a full retreat but they are leaving ammo and useable weapons behind for Ukraine to use and kill more Orcs. Really, the generosity shown by the Russian army is like them saying "please kill us and put us out of our misery".

Retaking these areas? Russia? Not a Fing chance without full mobilization of the Russian army to Ukraine. Russia cant even back fill the dead they have already sent to Ukraine. So, back to the old burn it to the ground routine with attacking infrastructure and civilians.

Meanwhile its getting colder and the Orcs themselves will need heat in the winter. I wonder just how warm it gets from HMARS raining down on you? More ammunition on the way. Maybe somewhere in Moscow someone is sitting in his flat with his sniper rifle just waiting for a shot. A global hero? We can only hope.

That would only create unnecessary media storm and Russians are too but hurt at the moment. Not sure that Russias ambassador in Berlin would need his physical butt to get hurt too in the process.

Maybe something along the lines of: "Germany wishes for Russia to focus further on the peace process with Ukraine. I an attempt to increase Russians effort, Germany wished to contribute by notifying the Russian government that no ambassador nor his staff is needed in Berlin until a conclusion in Ukraine has been reached.

That food left behind is called MRE's by the America & Polish Armed Forces. (Meals Ready to Eat)
Fighting soldiers don't get to enjoy fresh steak and eggs at Tillies Dine In.
The British soldiers have what are called "Operational Ration Packs" (ORPs) which are issued to the British Armed Forces.
Each ration pack is designed to provide ample nutrition and calories to last 24 hours in survival, combat, or emergency situations.
Google "Polish MRE's" to educate yourself on the subject, son.

That stuff looks like it would last me 24 minutes.

US MRE's are actually really good. I have a ton of them in my basement in the states. Used them a lot on hunting trips in the back country. Russian people in the countryside would be grateful to get them. They are better quality and taste better than the gruel they get. Those Russian MRE's look like what the US had in Vietnam and Korea. Fing joke.
