Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 3

generalsvr today.... (shorter version) putain is still considering mobilization although everyone around him is telling him that it is too late (the deadline for any kind of workable mobilization was back in July).

But the legendarily indecisive putain is still mulling things over....

twitter.com/generalsvr_en/status/1569575612938944512

Should also point out that renewed Azerbaijan/Armenian hostilities may be related to the report by generalsvr back in the first part of August that russia was hoping to 'sell' Armenia to Turkey....

Prob time to demand repatriations from EU for approving NS1

Maybe the EU should charge it with all the support it gave to Poland till now....

paih.gov.pl/why_poland/eu_funds

After all, who would trust an 'EU' army controlled by Francogermania;

"Francogermania", huh? If that is not a "perfidous Albion" speaking, the rivalry well and truly alive! ;)

The PM could have gotten the money by now if not for Ziobro.

Sure, sure PM should F off long time ago. PiS EU policy is weak and stupid. We don't need those moeny and getting Poland into this scam is a crime. PiS should answer for that, but PO those dumb German servants prefer to talk about some texbook that pull PiS on their weak EU policy. They are even worse in that regard, if PiS is weak PO are is flat like a carpet.

Sad that stupid inscure people like pawian think that EU is needed for Poland to exist and trive.

with Ukraine

Ukrianie is not a part of the EU.

@Cojestdocholery
Poland needs that money. When PiS is defeated and the books are opened it is going to be an insane debt load that Poland will be carrying. If that money came in and some new projects started you would see slowing inflation. Poland has actually done better than most of the EU inflation wise, Germany, France and Brussels know this and that money could elevate the economy here to a point where there citizens start to point fingers at their leaders. I agree that PO will go way to far and that is what the EU is waiting for. Poland needs a centrist to take advantage of the position the country is in because of the aid to Ukraine. This is a once in a few generations opportunity to take Poland to the top of the EU economically and militarily. The reconstruction of Ukraine will also go through Poland and the EU operators wont like that either.

Ukrianie is not a part of the EU.

I am aware of that.
Are you saying that Ukraine has to be part of the E.U. to work out an energy deal to help out Poland ?
PiS must be doing something right.

Poland has actually done better than most of the EU inflation wise,

PiS must be doing something right to accomplish that. ;-)

Poland's inflation is 6th highest out of 27 countries - definitely one of the worst in the EU, and it was high even before the war.

Add to that the fact that the govt doesn't count it correctly and it is a huge fail for PiS. The previous Finance Minister is badly at fault for that along with the social handouts

@johnny reb
Its not PiS. They raised our taxes and we have inflation like everyone else. Just not as bad by a small percentage. With summer tourist season over now, thats likely to change some. PiS monetary policy was drawn up on a Big Boy menu with crayons. But the social policy and military policy since this war began is spot on.

What good will that do? "Ey at least they got a good spending policy!"

Well guess how good that spending will be if debt increases and spending will have to get less to fix it... More loans?! -.-

A good animation - "A Russian Invader's Way of Life in 6 minutes":

youtu.be/cnuSRQr8U54

Btw, the inscription on that bag of sunflower seeds that he's eating means "Good Life" ("to have a good life" to be more precise).

That inscription he's spraying on the wall in that animation is authentic - it was found in Bucha after liberation from the RuSSian occupation:

napis

It reads: "Who allowed you to have a beautiful life?"

What do you think I meant by monetary policy? Its a joke. When a new government gets in, it will be a wakeup call for all PiS supporters. That said, they did a good job beefing up military spending. Lets hope they are not robbing the military like Russia.

And now their main tank division has been destroyed. They've pushed the orcs back to their own borders in the north, are pushing towards the coast near Kherson and there is very effective Ukrainian

Meanwhile, the Kyiv Security Treaty is being organised which will have a profound effect on the whole Black Sea reagion and should r*SSia be declared a terrorist state, any and all of r*SSia's financial reserves held outside their country (which is most of it) will be used to pay compensation claims by Ukrainian citizens and repay loans made to Ukraine for their war effort.

They've pushed the orcs back to their own borders in the north,

Both orcs and their pro RuSSist collaborators are fleeing the area even when Ukrainians are still far away. Like rats escaping from a sinking ship.

This is RuSSist Order in practice - no shame, no honour. Just the panicky escape.
Fekking rats which perfectly realise they are Out of Place, Out of Time in Ukraine, a civilised European country.

Mongols, back to Asia where you fekking belong!!!!! Shooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!! hahahahahaha

Even now they are filling trailers with loot, a pathetic collection of coffee machines, stereos and kids toys. And they will go home to their families and share this shameful bounty along with war stories of how they soiled themselves as soon as they saw real missiles coming their way.

Poland needs that money.

No Poland doesn't!
1. Those money are loan, a joint loan EU. Poland co-signed which is crazy.
2. Poland can't decide where and what those money can be spend. EU makes those decisions.
No, thank you.

PolAmKrakow
13 Sep 2022  #2478

@Cojestdocholery
Ok. Right. Good luck with that. Poland will be in serious pain without that money. Include all the military purchase commitments, and Poland has some deep financial pits to fill.

Their reaction to the 2021 Belarusian Dune Coon crisis was... perfect. Swift and competent. And what is more important than keeping Europe european?
Also, libs broke my brain.
For almost a DECADE one of the MAIN lib talking points was "PiS are irrational russophobes, we can have normal relations with pootler".
And now I have to watch supposedly serious lib politicians and journalists insinuate that - actually - PiS is secretly pootlers ally.

PiS seems to be going a bit overboard with their planned military spending imho. Increasing it is a logical consequence, but 5%? I worry if this is actually sustainable.

Even now they are filling trailers with loot, a pathetic collection of coffee machines, stereos and kids toys.

There was a video on Twitter, a reliable one, showing a house that had been occupied by r*SSian soldiers. They had literally taken everything that could be removed, clothes, children's toys, kitchen utensils. Anything that couldn't be physically removed, they destroyed.

Hopefully r*SSia will be declared a terrorist state so their foreign currency reserves held in banks abroad can be used to settle each and every claim by Ukranians.

5%? I worry if this is actually sustainable.

Why not? It's a time of war and the absolute minimum is 2% even in peacetime. Poland is right on the frontier of the free world and has an important role in NATO.

The three main NATO states already have nuclear weapons which Poland doesn't (yet). Therefore Poland needs to arm itself with conventional weapons, take part in training in/with the UK and explore whether or not it chooses to buy non-conventional weapons which are expensive. It's part of Poland's evolution into the principal country in Central Europe.

Tacitus

war and the absolute minimum is 2%

2% is not 5%, especially if it is for a longer period of time. Spending like that once brought the SU to its knees.

jon357
13 Sep 2022  #2483

2% is not 5%,

Peace is not war.

once brought the SU to its knees.

Poland is not r*SSia.

There's no room for what the Ukrainian minister called "abstract fears and excuses". This is no time for half-measures. r*SSia needs to be brought down or history will just keep repeating itself ad nauseam.

Good news for Europe - the price of gas is dropping, gas storage facilities nearly full, RuSSist blackmail failed.

13 Sep 2022  #2486

And now, r*SSisn state TV is suggesting that Ukraine can't be beaten in the war.

This may well be a massive turning point in this futile and stupid war that the Russians started and thought they would win so easily.

The West still have to stay firm. Supply more and better weapons

I can tell you that the arms supplies to Ukraine have increased recently and are still continuing.
I can't tell you if they are British or American weapons, but I suspect it's both.

People here should not be getting all Gitty because Ukraine and the U.S. pulled a fast one on Russia.
I'm afraid this war has a long way to go before it is over.

Its not PiS. They raised our taxes and we have inflation like everyone else.

Exactly, don't blame PiS for this inflation caused by this war like the Lefty Idiots here are trying to portray.
Governments don't make money; they only collect your money and spend it and most of the time more than they collect.
Just ask America who is over 30 Trillion in debt.
Poland is doing very well under PiS when you consider all the war refugees that have flooded into Poland.

You mean that, as we know, you were 'out of state'.
