Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 4

Novichok

Which is why the civilized world has basically given up on them...

...as it did on the US for Korea, Vietnam, and Iraq. That should serve as an example of how the world responds to such things.

Oh, wait..."The civilized world" actually joined the US there...Almost forgot...

@Novichok
Again I agree, turning Ukraine into a black hole by hitting all power and infrastructure would have taken a month max. But Russia wanted a livable Ukraine they wanted the infrastructure for "their people". You cant do both. Putin is simply stupid. He overestimated his army, and underestimated Ukraine, and that is a 100% losing proposition. Now, it is over, all but the dying.

Even you, who liked him as a leader, has to see he is simply not intelligent, and he is easily mislead wearing rose colored glasses. Now he is in the fight for his own life because of it. It is over for Putin and he needs the war to end before he is ended. The settlement he will get is no land and Ukraine will allow people to speak Russian if they chose, nothing more. Because Ukraine doesnt have to give anything more, but that will save thousands of lives on both sides, and Russia can not afford more losses.

UK Indian Prime Minister cuts military and civilian spending on Ukraine and Ukrainians.

Interesting mini-thread from Galeev..... he says something a bunch of Ukrainians (and a few russians) say but which many in the west find very hard to believe....

shorter version: The war isn't about geopolitics.... it's putain trying to cope with domestic political pressure. basically everyday russians want war and putain has to give it to them... he can't stop and survive until the public is sick of it (not real signs yet....)

twitter.com/kamilkazani/status/1589258928621506560

Again, some Ukrainians and russians have claimed this but I was a bit... skeptical but a lot of the evidence is that russians... want.... war (the russians here certainly didn't seem to long for peace) because they hate the world (esp the US)

Any truth to this?

A comment worth posting here:

The problem with this is - it doesn't mean these troops are going to overthrow putin. On the contrary - the longer this war goes on the deeper the hatred on both sides. I fear the end leads to a leader in russia who is more violent than putin. Nationalism is easy to comment on if your country is not at war - but be honest - if the uk was at war, regardless of whether the uk started it -people would support their country all the same. The same applies to russia and to pretend otherwise is foolish. This will not end well

the name is prigozhin.... a true human pig who's transparently maneuvering to take over (and putain is too dimm and disconnected to realize it)

on the other hand, prigozhin would strengthen western resolve as it's clear he has no diplomatic inclinations...

PolAmKrakow

@mafketis
Prigozhin is more intelligent than Putin, has done more with less opportunity. He is a smart killer, and a capitalist, Russia would be better off.

Russia would be better off.

I don't see anything flourishing under his rule... he's happy to send people supposedly under his command to death by the hundreds in Ukraine... you think he'd care about the economy?

Indian Prime Minister of the UK

Neither the current OM (or his parents) were born in India... so... no. How does it feel to get so many things wrong?

Very good. The demise and final disintegration of RuSSia will be quickened under a new more violent leader. Bring him in now!

Paw, why do you think this Ukrainian fiasco brings about the demise of Russia? This type of thinking seems worse than those who think we're going to power the world through wind, solar, and fairy dust. It's wishful thinking fantasy.

Miloslaw

why do you think this Ukrainian fiasco brings about the demise of Russia?

To answer for Pawian, I would say because Russia will become a pariah state for years to come.
No major nation will cooperate with them.
They are all messed up unless some true signs of democracy appear in Russia.

No major nation will cooperate with them

A major nation is already happily cooperating with them: China. Russia's got some stuff China wants: oil and metals. Plus they help China pressure the West, sure they cause some possible economic problems for China but Russia is more useful than not.

@mafketis
Prigozhin is first a capitalist, second a very good leader of people in his very large empire within Russia. Third, he is a killer, but he is a killer who wants to bring about an end to the war. I think he might be the only one with the balls to kill Putin. He has all the connections inside the Kremlin and in the government. He has his own army and can easily connect the Russian army to his for a coup.

That said, he likely wouldn't stay in power, and he would likely leave by choice as well after installing someone more moderate as president. He goes down in history in a good way if this is the course. He could go down as the man who saved Russia. However, Putin has to be aware of this, and it would not surprise me if Prigozhin fell out of a window pretty soon.

Orc's in Ukraine continue to get liquidated at an alarming rate. In Luhansk hundreds a day are getting destroyed. The soldiers are revolting against leadership there. In Kherson thousands will die over the next few weeks as the city is taken back by Ukraine. And now with real air defense systems, Ukraine can focus on moving forward. HIMARS will be raining on Orc's consistently these next few weeks. Kherson will fall before Thanksgiving in the US. Happy gulag biatches!

not especially... China no longer regards russia as an ally but as a subordinate this was made clear in Kazakhstan was it? when putain basically gave a speech echoing a bunch of CCP talking points

if generalsvr is to be believed (there is a high percentage of subsequent verification) Xi is not talking to putain at present and is very dissatisfied that the war is dragging on so long...

russia has things China wants but Xi is no more a diplomat than putain (and if Peter Zeihan is to be believed China is already over as a superpower before it really began ....)

PolAmKrakow

The Orc's in Kherson now are effectively surrounded in the city. Soon the street fighting will begin. The Orc's a looting everything in sight and taking it over to Crimea and into Russia. Pitiful. This army was supposed to protect the nation of Russia? Fing embarrassment. If Ukraine people were not dying I would be laughing at this Benny Hill Show.

To be effective, you have to hate the enemy more than anything. Hate is a necessity if you want to win.

Remember, this is sort of civil war... When (and if) it will come to next stage and poland will be thrown to fire by their anglo masters, it will be slightly different story.

cms neuf
8 Nov 2022  #380

It's not a sort of civil war. Ukraine has been independent for 30 years. Like Poland or Finland it's a sovereign country that had the bad luck to once be ruled by the Tsar.

As for your threats of what Russia would do to Poland then looking at current performance then it would be a quick and easy victory for the Bialo Czerwone. For one thing our army is sober and for a second they have ammunition and boots that fit

@Velund
First and foremost capable people cannot allow one's self to hate, due to the utter destruction and negative consequences it will lead to.

Only fools and cowards propagate hatred, due to their hatred of their own limitations.

So no, Poland cannot allow itself to hate Russia.

I see the Russians are going to start military training at school LOL

Lesson 1 - making bimber out of potato peel
Lesson 2 - how to get the best price for selling your fuel
Lesson 3 - how to make a tasty stew out of boot Polish and sprat bones
Lesson 4 - logistics. How to get that fridge back to Omsk

@Velund
Poland in the fire? You mean WW3 then. The US and NATO would roll over what's left of the Russian army if anything happened in Poland. There are about 30K troops in Southern Poland already, not to mention how many in the North. Put down whatever you are smoking and urge your comrades to give up before being liquidated.

AntV

@mafketis

I'm not certain it's a subordinate relationship. But, regardless, it's a closer relationship that develops more and more into an alliance of shared goals, particularly the goal of weakening the USA (and the West in general).

mafketis
8 Nov 2022  #386

I'm not certain it's a subordinate relationship.

I am, Xi, in a recent speech talked about a 'bipolar' world with the US-EU as one pole and China as the other (no mention of russia... )

this is sort of civil war.

russians tend to think that, Ukrainians think no such thing - a Ukrainian told me once that russians, even the 'good' ones seem incapable of realizing that Ukrainians don't like them (at the personal, individual level friendship is possible but at the collective level... they've never been into you... move on)

and welcome back with your usual thuggish threats against poland - who do you think will be impressed by that?

Velund
8 Nov 2022  #387

It is not threat, consider it as a prophecy of sorts.

A prophesy - like from Rasputin himself LOL

I prophesise this - Iran getting fed up with their broke and dipsomaniac client state and the supply of drones drying up

AntV
8 Nov 2022  #390

the US-EU as one pole and China as the other (no mention of russia... )

Which would be very Chinese way of looking at it. Whether you are right or not about a subordinate relationship is not as important as the fact they have forged a closer relationship.
