Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 4

Paulina

A wonderful video from liberated Kherson :))):

youtu.be/9I6abh9C5Fg

They are used to inconvenience in life

This is very touching video - villagers in Kherson region giving flowers to Ukrainian soldiers, hugging even Reuters journalists and a woman in Kherson telling the soldiers that they knew that the Ukrainian army would come to liberate them and that they were ready to wait for them as long as needed and a commander (?) thanking them for their endurance:

Brave, strong people! 💪❤️

I'd like to also point out that in the second video one lady from that village is speaking Ukrainian and the other lady from the same village is thanking Ukrainian soldiers in Russian language. And that woman in Kherson telling soldiers that they would wait for them as long as needs be is speaking in Russian and the Ukrainian commander is answering her and other Kherson people in Ukrainian.

So after not apologising for nuking us, our ukrainian brothers have decided to appoint a notorious banderas as deputy foreign minister

Feeling that gratitude and partnership already friends

@Korvinus
What do you mean with nuking us?

Paulina
20 Nov 2022  #815

So after not apologising for nuking us

If you mean the missile that fell in Przewodów (it wasn't a nuke o_O) I don't think Ukrainians should apologise for defending themselves. All you can do in such situation, imho, is to say that you're sorry it happened and give condolences to the families. But the investigation hasn't finished yet, so I'd wait for official results first.

ukrainian brothers have decided to appoint a notorious banderas as deputy foreign minister

They could choose someone less controversial for that post, I agree.

deputy foreign minister

Andriy Melnyk?

One of the good guys.

And nobody nuked Poland.

Paulina
20 Nov 2022  #817

@jon357, that "good guy" has problems with some historical facts:

rmf24.pl/fakty/swiat/news-andrij-melnyk-zostal-wiceministrem-spraw-zagranicznych-ukrai,nId,6419860

If he was Polish you'd most probably view him as a nationalist.

jon357
20 Nov 2022  #818

He's certainly a nationalist (anyway, most people from central Europe eastwards are nationalistic in comparison to most Brits) and since there are people in both Poland and Ukraine who have strongly differing views on certain historical matters I doubt nationalists on either side of the border would agree on details.

Minister Melnyk is a great guy though, and while Ambassador to Germany wasn't afraid to speak his mind when their government was behaving badly.

He's just what Ukraine needs at the moment.

It seems like they are preparing to take a leading role in this part of europe and don't need us.

I disagree. Ukraine needs Poland more than him, imho. More people like him in the spotlight and Ukraine won't need RuSSian trolls to drive a wedge between Poles and Ukrainians, I'm afraid. I'm just saying... Poland is doing a lot for Ukraine and it's taking its toll on ordinary Poles. The last thing they need to see is UPA flags flying and people like Melnyk being honoured with high positions.

and don't need us.

I doubt it. After the liberation of Kherson one Ukrainian guy wrote to me that if it wasn't for Polish help, they wouldn't be able to achieve it. They are very grateful for our support.

jon357
20 Nov 2022  #822

I disagree. Ukraine needs Poland more than him

I doubt his appointment is a game-changer. Ukraine, like Poland, has a diversity of views. There are probably plenty of high-profile figured there that share his view and others who don't.

drive a wedge between Poles and Ukrainian

Very unlikely, and the red/black flag is after all part of their history. It may offend some Poles, however plenty of things in Poland are named after Pilsudzki's legion who are to Ukrainians what the UPA is to Poles.

Paulina
20 Nov 2022  #823

@jon357, I also don't think it's a game-changer (but it isn't helping either).

You have a point with Piłsudski, we have a complicated and difficult history with Ukrainians, but Piłsudski's soldiers weren't committing massacres on thousands of Ukrainian civilians, including women and children, like Bandera's people were on Poles. So it's not exactly the same.

jon357
20 Nov 2022  #824

It's close enough for those over the border who get worked up about it; and arguably cultural genocide, though yes, there wasn't the same scale of killing women and children, just civilian men defending their homes.

I doubt the latest appointment will make much difference at all.

As it continues to get colder, the Orc's continue to go after civilian infrastructure. A new deal now with Iran opening up shop in Russia to build drones is moving forward. Desperate men call for desperate measures. Imagine a bunch Iranian extremists working in Russia. Funny to think about how these extremists will react to Russian women and the gangster lifestyle. Should create of real interesting public outings and women being abused for not having their hair covered. Look for Iran to be getting a new round of sanctions on this move.

The desperation of little Vlad is funny to watch. The little loser having to go to the extremist women haters for help has got to be humiliating. Russians have got to be scratching their heads in wonder over this. I wonder just how much the public will accept of these increased levels of friendship.

Meanwhile in Ukraine, more Orc's were liquidated yesterday as the temperatures continue to drop and snow continues to fall. The good news is though that their campfires in the trenches will make them easier to be spotted at night and more can be sent to the morgue in the morning. Cant wait for all the Orc supporters to post new maps of the Russian holdings in Ukraine. I wonder what they will look like as we get closer to the one year mark. Happy gulag biatches!

Poland proposes putting German Patriot missiles near border with Ukraine

reuters.com/world/europe/poland-proposes-putting-german-patriot-missiles-near-border-with-ukraine-2022-11-21/

Still hoping that Poland joins the European initiative to purchase a common air-defence shield.

jon357
21 Nov 2022  #828

Imagine a bunch Iranian extremists working in Russia.

They probably wouldn't be extremists. Those are on their knees praying whereas drone scientists, engineers, military technologists are unlikely to be beards.

women being abused for not having their hair covered.

Pretty well impossible. I've worked with Iranians (who like me travelled from their own country to the workplace for a month at a time) including women who certainly didn't cover their hair or abstain from booze. All were entirely normal people, not even particularly conservative by western standards. Iran isn't Saudi Arabia and the people might surprise you.

more Orc's were liquidated yesterday

Plenty, though today they're pounding Kherson with shells. Hopefully Ukraine have enough to send back to them seven times over.

The landfill in Kherson became the dumping ground and crematory of Orc bodies. The Orc's would dump bodies of their comrades in a landfill, burn them, and then cover them with trash. This is the entirety of Russia and the collective mentality. It is precisely why the country needs to be beaten into submission, broken up, and left to pay for Ukraine to be rebuilt. Anyone supporting this human trash of a populous is no better.

The landfill in Kherson became the dumping ground and crematory of Orc bodies.

What were they suppose to do when they are losing 300 plus men a day ?
Embalm them, put them in caskets, load them in box cars of a train and take them back to Russia so the Russian people could watch them unload thousands after thousands of caskets in Red Square ?

Putin already has a target on his back.

Crazy to think they would respect the fallen who did not need to fall. The country needs to disappear. That said, at least now the seagulls and wild dogs have their own take out spot.

In other positive Russian economic news, Orc nation had to sell bonds today to raise money for the war. Long term debt was blasted out to other evil axis nations as the Orc leadership raise spending on the military by 40%. Indeed the war is going so well for Russia, no end is in sight, and they need to produce more weapons and barrow money to do it. Bravo! Happy gulag you dumb fvkcs!

Crazy to think they would respect the fallen

So you think Russia should be given some land for a cemetery in Ukraine to bury their dead properly.
Like say the U.S. Meuse-Argonne Cemetery in France ?

cms neuf
21 Nov 2022  #833

Yes - there are German and Soviet war cemeteries in Poland and they are respected. The Germans look after theirs very well

But Russia has never declared war - they say it is a special operation.

johnny reb
21 Nov 2022  #834

Very good point cms
Maybe they could have a "Special Operations Cemetery" instead

jon357
21 Nov 2022  #835

Yes - there are German and Soviet war cemeteries in Poland and they are respected.

In the orcs' case, it's about people being declared MIA rather than KIA to avoid paying compo to the families and to keep the stats low.

The next time some moron or russian shill (redundant I know) talks about a "coup" in Ukraine in 2014, they should read this from one of the earliest participants in the protests against the democratically elected but completely out of touch and ever more brutal Yanukovych

twitter.com/TheStanislawski/status/1594735328866230273

....and they are still searching for missing soldiers (a brother of my grandpa)....even as I doubt they would find still bones after all these years.

Melnyk was not a very good ambassador, he was recall for a reason.

Zelenskiy fired Melnik for glorifying Bandera which was a last straw even for the Western politicians who called him Putin's useful idiot. Then Zelenskiy promptly made him deputy foreign ministry.

Paulina
21 Nov 2022  #839

@Korvinus, I don't like it either, but according to this article Melnyk did apologise and expressed regret for his words (he was probably pressured by Kyiv, but still):

Some very good news; Britain has been sending Brimstone 2 missiles to Ukraine. No official announcement recently however they have been photographed arriving at Rzeszow and the national media are reporting it. One of the most lethal weapons of their type around and they will pound the orcs to dust.

telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2022/11/21/inside-britains-advanced-missiles-ukraine-neutralise-russia/

Then Zelenskiy promptly made him deputy foreign ministry.

If countries were as picky about people's politics during wartime as you're pretending to be here, then the good guys would lose more often than they do. I would include the Armia Krajowa in that as well as the British Army and most others. Remember, Sikorski was a total shıt however he was still a war hero and played a part in your freedom and mine. Douglas Bader too; a war hero and a flying ace but as a person, you wouldn't want to live next door to him.
