Yup. If the Uke goal is to drive out every Russian military fixture within Ukraine, it will need to hit targets in Russia to disrupt supply and supply routes. This will probably escalate the war to yet unseen dangerous levels and forms of engagement.

Once the US sends Patriot missiles to Ukraine, Russia will have to respond in some way. What do they have left to respond with? More bodies? Or a tactical nuke? The Patriot system will render nearly everything Russia has remaining pretty close to neutral. When the ground freezes in the next week or two and allows heavy materials to be moved again, Russia is in deep $hit. Ukraine can begin rolling again and its going to get very nasty for those boys sitting in trenches when tanks start rolling over them. Happy gulag biatches!

Excellent post. Russia has been overestimated for the last thirty years. The massive theft of state assets began the day the USSR was broken up. Now, I agree, Russia will eventually be broken up, not by the West doing though. Russia will break apart by their own doing. Sure sanctions will continue to decimate their economy, and that will be the catalyst for the breakup. Groups will eventually get tired of paying to rebuild Ukraine and they will break off when getting security guarantee's. It will happen, maybe not in all of our lifetimes, but it will happpen.
