Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 4

Another big fire in Russia. In the city of Angarsk

The more the merrier.

There was an article in the Daily Telegraph (generally considered as being highly reputable) talking about the possibility of a r*SSian capitulation. When hings like that are being published, it can only be a very good sign.

The Kremlin on today described as "anti-Russian hysteria" the decision of Poland's Parliament to recognize Russia as a country sponsoring terrorism, a decision taken in the midst of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

Kremlin is right. Poles have problems with using correct terms and staying away from metaphors.
Blowing up a pub is terrorism. Sending an army to Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, or Ukraine is not terrorism. Those are called "police actions" or simply "wars" but not "terrorism".

johnny reb

Russia used the metaphor for the Ukraine invasion as a "Special Operations."

Novichok
15 Dec 2022  #1595

Russia did. But that is not a license for Poland to be reckless with the language. Bottom line: Country A invading Country B is not "terrorism" or the word lost its meaning.

But it's easy to figure out the Polish way of thinking which is simply this: any action that negatively affects civilians is terrorism and a war crime. That, I guess, includes abortions.

Nor is it a license for Russia to be evasive by sugar coating shlt.

But Russia has been funding terrorists - the Luhansk and Donetsk Dad's Army for a start (though laughter rather than terror is the normal response to seeing these flabby drunks)

And Russia has also been funding terrorism in the 3rd world (though I now hear Russian mercenaries are returning to Omsk and telling their neighbors about the awesome quality of life and material wealth of Burkina Faso)

And finally Nazi Murderer Putin managed to find a few ex KGB sober enough to get on a plane to London and commit murders. I wouldn't mind if it was just a row between Russian thieves, but unfortunately innocent civilians were killed

PolAmKrakow

@Novichok
Actually the Russian soldiers committing rapes and killing civilians are by definition terrorists. Though I would agree that invading is not a terrorist act, the killings of civilians, torture and rapes certainly are.

@cms neuf
Excellent points on Luhansk and Donetsk. Having been to Donetsk as recently as two years ago, I can say with certainty, the "army" there was not a professional army. They were mercenaries a.k.a terrorists.

They learned this trick from us.

Actually the Russian soldiers committing rapes and killing civilians are by definition terrorists.

The ultimate irony and Polish hypocrisy...Poland never had any problems with the US and the Brits incinerating civilians in D, H, and N.

Polish government in London didn't tell the Red Army to stay in the USSR unless they promise not to rape women in Berlin.

They didn't object to the bombing of power stations and other such objects in Germany because such acts might be seen as "terrorism".

Only now, the Polish government discovered the horrors of wars from the High Moral Ground and the church of Selective Holy Indignation.

I guess the KDS is slow to die.

@Novichok

Do you really think such stupid comparisons will convince anyone here, least of all in a Polish forum?

Germany invaded Poland, started with terror bombing in Wielum an elsewhere and refused to surrender until Berlin was conquered. There was no alternative to conquest, and it was done for an objective moral cause (stop the murder and enslavement by Nazis). Leaving morale issues aside, it was not feasible for bombing crews to aim specifically for military targets, especially not in cities and in the face of fierce air defence.

Your concern for German civilians is touching, but -leaving aside all prior German crimes - one should not forget that the Nazis were still conducting the Holocaust and other crimes while Dresden and other cities burnt. KZ Bergen-Belsen was only liberated by the Allies months afterwards.

Russia is currently fighting a colonial war with at least genocidal undertones, and is deliberately targeting civilian infrastructure, hoping to inflict as much suffering to the Ukrainians as possible. Russia's war aims are evil and the way it conducts such a war is evil, hence any civilized people will condemn it. If the Allies had stopped their bombing campaign and the Soviets had done the same, the killing within the German areas of controle would have continued. If Putin gave the order to stop the war and withdraw, the killing in Ukraine would cease once all Russian soldiers left.

1. UK has admitted the Royal Marines are/were deployed in the Ukraine
2. Odessa power is out, will not be back for at least 2 months, residents are advised to get out
3. US has effectively allowed the Ukraine to use its weapons and surveillance systems to attack Russian territory, ostensibly this means Crimea

You could kill every single Russian infantryman and they'd still be as large a threat as they are now because they have the best nuclear delivery system.

Same could be said for any other nuclear country bar the delivery bit and most if not all of the west is under the umbrella.

So there's that and then there's the debts that The Ukraine owes or will owe and they'll never be paid, either because the country won't exist independently anymore or because Zelensky won't pay, then they'll Saddam him.

Barring a few countries anything west of russia is the west, Poland especially so even more than the euro countries as they're not just willing but begging to be a US prostitute vassal state.

Though then again non nuclear countries can only get by by tongue bathing the nuts of nuclear ones.

The main arguments against russia in this have been how have they not been as despicable as the americans.

Poland begging to become a vassal state is hilarious, US foreign policy to a T though.

smoothiex12.blogspot.com/2022/12/that-sends-shockwaves.html

blog post quotes a Russian-language TASS article:

basically Putin is considering creating a pre-emptive 'decapitation strike' doctrine and capability in the same sense that the US has been bragging about for decades. given the gap between US and Russian missile tech, specifically in the fields of hypersonics, nuclear-powered cruise missiles, ABMs and undersea strategic weapons, this is likely making certain people very nervous.

historically Russia and the USSR have relied on a 'last strike' policy for nuclear deterrence, specifically the PERIMETER or DEAD HAND complex which automatically takes control of the nuclear arsenal should nuclear attacks on key political and military centres be detected

begging to be a US prostitute vassal state.

by tongue bathing the nuts of nuclear ones.

I've noticed this disturbing pattern in comments made by RuSSian men already in my previous discussions with them outside of PF - some kind of sexual obsession/perversion lol and mental primitivism.

1. UK has admitted the Royal Marines are/were deployed in the Ukraine

DEAD HAND

Most r*SSian nukes are in such poor condition that they can't even be approached, let alone maintained or fired.

You won't frighten people, you know. Even Putler knows that using nukes against a NATO state is the last thing his wretched country would ever do. Even using them against a non-NATO state would result in r*SSia being permanently demilitarised. The hard way...

Russian territory, ostensibly this means Crimea

Crimea is not 'r*SSian territory'.

You have the best missile delivery system ?

ROFL.

Probably a couple of drunks in some field who lost the operating manual and forgot to charge their cellphones

Your missiles are rusty junk - nobody is scared of that scrap metal

Russian soldiers committing rapes and killing civilians are by definition terrorists.

RuSSia behaves exactly like terrorists and mafia - one person was injured when a letter bomb exploded in a Ukrainian embassy in Madrid in November:

nytimes.com/2022/11/30/world/europe/madrid-ukraine-embassy-explosion.amp.html

cnn.com/2022/12/02/europe/ukraine-embassies-suspicious-mail-intl/index.html

"There have been 17 cases of embassies receiving either letter bombs, false bomb letters, or letters containing animals parts, like the eyes of cows and pigs"

Ukraine owes or will owe and they'll never be paid

The reparations that r*SSia pays will fund reconstruction very nicely.

irony of Poland condemning what Poland benefitted from

And according to your asinine logic I'd have to condemn a surgeon who cuts into people to save them because I condemn a murderer who stabs people to kill them. Or a police officer who shoots a culprit to save others.

Those acts against Nazi Germany were results of the Nazis invading other countries and refusing to surrender and stop murdering people. There were no better options available that would have stopped them in their atrocities.

anything taller than a foot in Iraq

The Russians have been deliberately targeting civilians since the war started. The last few months saw them hit civilian infrastructure 99% of the time. Unless you find a source stating that the Americans have sustained a similar terror campaign over many months in Iraq, we will have to consider this as one of your many, many stupid attempts of deflection.

Russia's bombing of Ukraine is a result of the West arming Ukraine while pretending to comply with the Minsk Agreements. That's what your very own Frau Merkel said.

Russia didn't like it and decided to be proactive just like the US was proactive in Iraq. You know...those scary WMDs. I like being proactive.

Just a day prior to the Economist interview, former German Chancellor Angela Merkel admitted that the 2014 Minsk ceasefire was actually a way to "give Ukraine time" to prepare for war.

Poles killed in Ukraine to get 'American' burial - media

The controversial decision by municipal authorities in Olsztyn to create an "American-style" cemetery is due to the large number of military burials for the 1,200 Poles who have died fighting in Ukraine, according to the news outlet Niezalezny Dziennik Polityczny.

NDP called the design a "disgraceful end to mercenaries who died in Ukraine," and suggested the number of planned plots means many more are expected to perish.

Specific casualty numbers from the conflict have been hard to come by. In June, officials in Kiev admitted to losing 1,000 or more men per day in the heavy fighting.

And that Z-P is still zero. Aren't you, PF posters, glad to be out of harm's way?

Now the comments:

So this cemetery is already larger than the most revered one at Monte Cassino and there is no song about it yet? Is it because those soldiers in Italy were fighting against nazis and these ones here with them?

poles only get stupider over time as they devolve

Poles fighting to support a NAZI regime. I never thought I would see the day. And look what it gets them. A miserable little piece of ground with a cheap headstone. In the meantime, the "nationalist" politicians who sent them there are leading very comfortable lives safely in the rear. How stupid can you get? Apparently, very stupid.

I rest my case.

Where are these news stories from? Zero coverage by the press here on Poles dying in Ukraine, and zero on social media from Poles. As for comments, any idiot saying the "politicians" in Poland sent them, needs to put down the bottle of bimber and sober up.

Poles fighting to support a NAZI regime

That's putting it too strongly imo. Sure, there are elements in Ukraine, even in the government administration who worship Bandera and SS-Galizien sickf*cks, but to call the entire Zelenski's government a "nazi regime" is taking it a bit too far. You shouldn't be spreading Russian propaganda, Rich.

a similar terror campaign over many months in Iraq

Quite. They simply didn't. The coalition containing Poland and the main two English-speaking states didn't flatten Iraq at all, nor did they destroy civilian infrastructure or abduct people.

A strange story in the media today about Jaroslaw Szymczyk who the press describe as Poland's chief of police accidentally detonating a heavy weapon in his office. Sounds like something from the Keystone Cops.

I found this... but it's nothing related to Poles in Ukraine. It's aobut cheaper burials.....

the Polish source given, "Niezależny Dziennik Polityczna", is a russian shill channel on telegram
