Don't worry they will be removed as a condition of joining the EU. Right now there is a brutal invasion, more pressing matters, such as destroying russian troops.

Warsaw will react quite well, especially that we don't need European funds and should have refused receiving them long time ago.

Really!

Is there some movement or political party demanding to reject the support from Brussels?

Germany and France are the biggest supplier from said "handouts".....and as long as it is so there is no way that they will not play a leading role, whereas Poland is still the biggest receiver, no matter how many tanks they will send....it's what it is! *shrugs*

Remember though, that the EU is not Europe and Europe is not the EU.

Since most of Europe IS in the EU....well....who knows, the UK might soon vote for re-entry, then the UK will belong to Europe again, heh:)

Brexit poll: Two-thirds of Britons now support future referendum on rejoining the EU

Brexit

Don't worry your pretty little head about polls reported by Lebedev about Brexit.

There will doubtless be an evolving relationship between the UK and various EU member states (there are particularly good relations with Poland) however the boat had sailed, and the continent will emerge from this war a different place.

@Bratwurst Boy
That is one crazy poll result so soon after leaving the EU.

Lots of interesting news coming out. The Dutch will now send a PATRIOT system to Ukraine, Finland will also send one along with the one from the US. Three patriot systems is a lot for Ukraine. As Russia runs low on smart weapons, these batteries will definitely make it more difficult for Russia to take out more infrastructure in the coming weeks.

Bulgaria, has been a secret player delivering ammo, and diesel through shell companies to Ukraine avoiding the pro Russia elites who were in charge of things. Slippery cold war tactics playing against the Orcs.

Israel has been assisting in shipping ammo to Ukraine out of secret US storage facilities located in Israel. Technically not supplying weapons that would pi$$ off little Vlad, but definitely not blocking military aid to Ukraine. Those crazy Jews walking a tightrope.

In Serbia, there are now rumors that NATO will be returning to biatch slap all the Orc supporters hiding within its borders, and working as Russian trolls out of their mommies basements. Meanwhile Serbian women are said to be looking forward to the return of Polish and American men for obvious reasons. lol

In Ukraine, more Orcs were liquidated and turned into dog food overnight. With a cold streak coming Ukraine simply wanted to ensure that those Russian boys were not going to be needing any Ukraine heat which should be going to citizens. Another job well done. Happy gulag biatches!

Don't worry your pretty little head about polls reported by Lebedev about Brexit

Lebedev? What's he gotta do with it?

As of January 2023, 54 percent of people in Great Britain thought that it was wrong to leave the European Union,.....

statista.com/statistics/987347/brexit-opinion-poll/

Tory voters losing faith in Brexit benefits, poll finds

telegraph.co.uk/politics/2023/01/08/conservative-voters-think-cost-brexit-outweighs-benefits-first/

There are several polls and surveys by now all over the place, none of them russian, and they all show the same picture....

and the continent will emerge from this war a different place.

True....not to mention that the UK would need again an unanimous yes-vote to be allowed back in....that would be doubtful to get now, I guess.

But nice that you think me pretty! :)

Cut down on your quotes please

Right now there is a brutal invasion, more pressing matters, such as destroying russian troops.

Exactly. We will deal with banderopithecs later; there is a more dangerous thing to deal with at the moment.

Is there some movement or political party demanding to reject the support from Brussels?

I've heard similar declarations from some politicians of Konfederacja and Solidarna Polska (a part of PiS coalition - ZP), but more importantly I hear it from an increasing number of people; and if more and more people have such approach then it will eventually be expressed more in politics. The funds, among other things that I mentioned, are driving local governments deeper and deeper into debt, as they have to provide 50% of money for investments on their own, and they get the money by taking out loans (and very often squander it). Again, there is no such thing as free money - there are always strings attached, and it creates a whole culture of depending on handouts rather than on hard work, discipline and thrift (not to mention that it creates favourable conditions for corruption).

Poland is still the biggest receiver, no matter how many tanks they will send

I don't see any connection here. European money for Poland was stopped (which eventually will turn out to be a good thing) and the tanks were/are/will be sent anyway. Poland should be very careful about accepting any funds, if they are given under condition of resigning our national sovereignty - too many people died for it. PiS have shot themselves in the foot by agreeing to the EU's conditions, and they won't see the money anyway, because the EU is interested in the government change in Poland and not in any silly "rule of law" nonsense (those who were very vocal in attacking Poland in recent years were recently found running around with bags of Qatari money - that's their "rule of law" :D).

Little boy Vlad is an actor, a poser, nothing more than a modern day Hitler who has staged and posed his entire fvcking career. And you are just a parrot of Kremlin propaganda. Oh look there goes little Vlad now shirtless riding on a unicorn with a rainbow cape on his way to play hockey with athletes that fear him enough to let him score goals even when the old fvck can barely stand up on skates. Pitiful country, and embarrassing people. Happy gulag!

Leningrad siege

Nothing remotely to do with the filthy russian aggression against Ukraine....

One way you can tell that russians are losing is they start dragging up things from the past and lying about them.... an entire culture based on deception and theft and self-pity... completely inferior.

AFter russia loses Ukraine a wall is needed to keep them from contaminating other countries...

It would be fvcking poetic for the west to build a wall around Russia to keep them out when they built the first wall to keep people in. I am all in favor of this and would not only donate my own money but would fundraise for it. Brick them in to keep them out. Enjoy your country and only your country.

Brick them in to keep them out. Enjoy your country and only your country.

But that's cruel, PolAm. Very cruel. Even their elites (especially their elites) don't want to live there - they buy villas abroad, send their children to study and live in the West, and whoever gets a reasonable chance to move to the "rotten" West does so. And now you want to condemn them to live their entire lives in the paradise that they created? You are a very cruel man indeed, PolAm. Russia is, in a way, an anti-civilisation - built not on respect for life and human freedom but on contempt for those values. And yet... and yet... there is something more that I don't understand about Russia, and I don't know if I ever will. Maybe that's the source of my huge Russophilia - the intrigue, the mystery behind it all? Oh, well... I better stop those free musings or I will be banned again for 14 c*ntillion seconds for being off-topic again (like I was this morning). *rolls eyes*

De Gaulle's grandson: Two-thirds of the world supports Russia

In an alliance with Europe, Russia would gain considerable power, says Pierre de Gaulle

PDG

Two-thirds of the world's population supports Russia despite Western claims that it is isolated, said Pierre de Gaulle, the grandson of former French President Charles de Gaulle. "They say that Russia is isolated, but two-thirds of the world's population supports Russia. We see changes in many economic and political interests, as well as the political influence of a number of countries from the East, and Russia is at the center of that process, at least considering its geographical position." , said Pierre de Gaulle for the radio station "Sid Radio".

He also admitted that he was shocked by cases of discrimination against Russian athletes and cultural figures in the West, based only on their nationality. "In an alliance with Europe, Russia would gain considerable power, and the entire continent - from the Atlantic to the Urals - would become completely autonomous," the French economist believes. Earlier, Pierre de Gaulle said in an interview with Sputnik that maintaining good relations with Russia is a historical necessity for France and Europe.

It's normal that they support Russia. Obviously they wouldn't NATO terrorists.

"Sid Radio".

Do you mean Sid Radio, a station belonging to a bizarre religious sect or do you mean another one.

Two-thirds of the world's population

I doubt that half the world's population have ever seen a map. He's talking about the bribed governments of third world countries (where most people have never seen snow and probably think r*SSia is somewhere near Manchester United). What matters is the strong suppoirt for Ukraine from the world's major developed democracies.

Pierre De Gaulle is a notorious political extremist. He is not elected to any public office and speaks only for himself. he is a well-known crank. Nobody cares what he says, least of all in the places that actually matter like Ukraine, Poland the UK and the US.

Thank you very much. Don`t count Poland into it. :):):)
Instead of gaining power, Russia has to lose it and become a normal European country. It will, sooner or later, with the population of 50 million and size of Muscovy.

Pierre de Gaulle said in an interview

Instead of quoting freaks, you`d better turn to classics: oldies but goldies:

Former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger
"Before this war, I was opposed to membership of Ukraine in NATO, because I feared that it would start exactly the process that we are seeing now," "The idea of a neutral Ukraine under these conditions is no longer meaningful. I believe Ukrainian membership in NATO would be a[n] appropriate outcome."

The USA is preparing one of the largest packages of military aid to Ukraine - CNN

twitter.com/NOELreports/status/1615773919113265156

Translated into a comprehensible language - Ukrainians will have to keep duying until the last one... before that the war will not stop...

Just look at that circus full of imbeciles, from the stale Nancy Pelosi, Kamala Harris, to this little actor who got the opportunity of a lifetime to read a written text in Congress.

It won't be worth anything to them, neither the bayraktar, nor the M777, or the Himars, now tanks... they can only send them rockets to escape to the moon, after such a conscious destruction of a nation, they will have no other choice.

Ukrainians will have to keep duying until the last one

Just a question....would you had told the Soviets the same back then? Imagine how many deaths could have been avoided if they had just capitulated....no starving Leningrad, end of Stalins mass murder....the non-communist white Russians taking the lead....no future conflicts with the West....

No West as we know it. No Jews. No gypsies. No majority of Slavs. No most of African population... Neat German Vorwerks in the Midwest of North America and all over Eastern Europe with ongoing works to create happy mestizo slaves, specially bred by mixing Irish and ni&&ers to produce hardy and strong individuals with short-sighted minds, easily distinguishable from higher race.. Moscow will soon just be a tourist destination. It will be like a side show attraction where they will talk about former Russian things. "Oh yes, this is where the Russian president used to live", "that is where they publicly hung Putin before dragging his body through the street", "Russia isn't allowed to have a president any more, there is now a governing body made up of NATO members", "on that bridge is where they shot Medvedev", and "in that cafe' is where the organizers of the coup first met and decided to demilitarize Russia". You know, things along those lines.

By then Russia, well what remains of Russia, will be shipping out all of their blue eyed blonde haired women as their chief exports to Polish strip clubs and Ukraine brothels. You know, just so Ukraine soldiers can get a little payback for all the Russian rapists that were in Ukraine. At the same time, under agreement with NATO, all the former Russian territories, now known as new nations are contributing to the rebuild of Ukraine with $50 per barrel oil sales around the world. The United States has fifty thousand construction workers in Ukraine, rebuilding the country and getting paid by all that oil being sold.

Meanwhile, Russian men, former soldiers have been shipped out to Syria as slave labor to build more mud huts and shovel camel $hit. This is fitting since they already smell like camel $hit. Why Syria? Well their military likes to force gay sex acts on their soldiers as well, and the two groups of soldiers are said to be enjoying each others company. Tank soldiers have now been repurposed into tent setters for wealthy Syrians.

In the real war, not in anyone's imagination. Stryker systems are on their way to Ukraine which will really heat things up in the Russian trenches. By heat I mean instead of liquidating them so quickly shorter range direct ground to ground missile systems will toast them nicely. Oh, and now the US is pressuring Germany to allow the other EU countries to ship those nice Leopard tanks. Look for that to happen before the end of the week. Happy gulag biatches!

Duda has nothing to lose. He can't get re-elected and this could be his legacy. He has actually done a pretty good job through all of this and is standing alone on other issues, no longer JK's whipping boy. Still it would set a bad precedent to just ignore contracts. It is going to be interesting to see what happens over the next few days. Germany will be under a lot of pressure and failing to act now will really damage their standing in the EU moving forward.

That's all speculation and doesn't answer my question!

I think he did answer your question, BB. There can be no capitulation to an enemy that denies you the right to existence and wants to destroy you as a country and a nation (and that's exactly Russia's attitude towards Ukraine). That's also why Poland - after observing the behaviour of Russian forces in Ukraine - has very recently changed her defensive doctrine...

wiadomosci.onet.pl/kraj/polska-zmienia-doktryne-obronna-general-roman-polko-komentuje/0c30hwv

... in the old doctrine Wojsko Polskie was supposed to let Russians deep into Poland and defend the Vistula River line, awaiting NATO reinforcements to arrive. After Bucha and other atrocities, the doctrine was changed - we would be facing terrorists and murderers and such opponent cannot be voluntarily let in even one meter into our territory. That's why there will be no Vistula Line tactical withdrawal, and that's why the army will be increased to 300,000 soldiers and sh*tloads of tanks and artillery purchased.

Ukraine bought us time and Ukraine showed us what kind of enemy we will be facing.
