Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 4

Ukraine with regular legtimiate elections and a functioning opposition and a free press _is_ an existential threat

I see someone is continuing to read Galeev's vomit.

As a Russian, and a person that has some level of insight into how Russian policymakers think - let me tell you:

Whether or not Ukraine is a functioning democracy with independent institutions is probably number 85 on our list of priorities.

Somehow we manage to be neighbors with democratic Japan, Finland, South Korea, Mongolia, etc without having an existential crisis of identity centered on our genetic feeling of inferiority.

Ukraine is massively poorer than Russia. Ukraine has a less developed press (yes, less sophisticated than in authoritarian Russia, with a smaller plurality of opinions). Ukraine has a non existent cultural scene (they listen mostly to Russian music and watch Russian movies, even if they hate to admit it). Ukraine does not contribute to scientific research. Every single Ukrainian president has been some type of crook.

There is literally nothing we feel threatened by in Ukraine, and nothing that we envy. This war - 1000% - is only about the collective West getting their grimy hands off of our property.

Again - no threat from democracy. No threat from liberalized markets. No threat from "freedom" in general. Only a threat from NATO.

As a Russian

Galeev is russian.

Ukraine is massively poorer than Russia

then why steal so many washing machines?

nothing we feel threatened by in Ukraine

are russians insane? because invading countries that are no threat is insane..... no wonder everybody looks down on inferior russia

Japan, Korea, Mongolia, Finland

All attacked by Russia - though of course the Japanese and Finns easily defeated your drunk army

Ukraine is richer than Russia if we talk about average people. Whatever wealth Russians have is owned by a handful of thieves and murderers

then why steal so many washing machines?

Considering that the pictures you were sharing in the Spring were not of washing machines but of targeting pods which are installed on helicopters and fighters - I don't know. I think Velund pointed it out to you then, by asking you: "Maf, where have you seen washing machines with two windows for loading laundry?".

However, I don't want to argue about washing machines or sinks. Maybe some were looted/marauded by our troops. Soldiers enriching themselves from what little they can find, is as old as the world. If you want, I will share a few dozen photos of US soldiers in Iraq posing with gold Rolexes and other jewelry items they took from the houses they raided. I can even link you to articles covering instances where American soldiers acted like true mafiosos, setting up entire trading networks for illicit goods looted in Iraq.

And you cannot expect capitulation of Russia to NATO

Remember how in march '22 we were discussing handling tanks and aircraft to Ukraine, and our residents Ruskies were all "hoho, you better not do that because it'll make Russia angry!!"? Well, we're in 2023, Ukraine not only got tanks and planes, but it seems it'll soon start oeprating top-level stuff including long-range rocket artillery systems that still seemed no-no by late autumn. And Zakharova and their ilk don't even bother throwing temper tantrums at those news anymore.

Also, it's almost funny watching how German elites are still trying to wriggle from helping Ukraine, even against their public opinion. I doubt they are in Russian pocket to this degree, it seems the establishment just cannot conceptualize any new stategy in which Russia isn't a long-term strategic partner. I mean, damn, France was in the same bed in early 2022, and now Marcon is openly mocking Germans with his proposals to send likes of Leclerc tank to Ukraine.

Correction. You are a Russian pu$$y hiding in the United States behind the comfort given to you by the United States military and the constitution. You are a Russian coward acting as a troll here and nothing more. How do you living in the United States feel threatened by Ukraine? How do Russians feel threatened by Ukraine who are actually Russian and not some POS hiding in America? The grimy west you live in? Your property? Massively poorer? Learn how to speak English or at least write correctly before spouting off.

Ukraine is so poor that Russians cannot afford to vacation in Kiev or Liviv before the war. Ukraine has so much of nothing that they are still more developed than nearly every Russian city outside of Moscow, St. Petersburg and Sochi, and Sochi is a fvcking dumpster fire.

If Ukraine is "your property" like your woman, you better get used to the west banging her while you watch all you cucked Russian biatches!

Bad news for putain and crow and montenegro.... Serbia rejects russian claims on Ukrainian territory (Crimea and Donbas are Ukrainian) and promises aid to displaced people.

putain has managed to lose his biggest ally west of the old CCCP

Great accomplishment for the sick old man

no one likes a loser and russia is a loser (and russians are losers stewing in their inferior loserdom)

putain has managed to lose his biggest ally west of the old CCCP

With all due respect to our Serb brothers, Serbia has not been "our biggest ally" west of the Iron Curtain. This should probably go to Venezuela, Cuba, or Algeria.

This is not to say that Serbs are not closer to us than those other countries in soul. We are so very grateful for those Serbian volunteers, which Vucic is so unhappy about. Real friends become known in distress. The Serbs have shown they retain independence of action, and remember the importance of a little thing called loyalty. Despite the official statements emerging from Belgrade - every Russian feels supported by Serbia. Vucic has to do what he has to do, to keep hopes of EU membership alive and to avoid even the hint of sanctions being applied to his country.

For our Ukrainian friends, one can only express pity, because Serbs are famous fighters. Maybe better than Russians themselves.

Serbs are famous fighters with a record of away defeats that rivals even the Russian alcoholics.

Lost in Croatia, Bosnia and Kosovo.

So your big allies are all failed states - two Latin American dictatorships and an Islamic basket case

They're getting good kit and training before being deployed. We'll see how well they do.

Took a snapshot from a video where a Serbian volunteer is being interviewed:

I meant "in Europe" but point taken.... and it should be noticed that all three of those countries are notorious crapholes that people flee from....

We are so very grateful for those Serbian volunteers, which Vucic is so unhappy about.

I wonder if Novi despises those who volunteer to fight for russia as much as he despises those who fight for Ukraine....

They are getting good kit ? LOL, funniest thing I heard all day !

A Hello Kitty sleeping bag, some Uzbek "Nyke" rip off sneakers, a rifle that was used in the defeat at Tannenburg and a medical kit made up of some pit of date Tampax.

I actually feel sorry for those Serb fools

Arms deliveries to Ukraine only exacerbate the conflict and may lead to an even greater confrontation

Those are only words. While true acts of support are still minute. The Chinese won`t engage in full scale aid to Russia coz they fear Western sanctions. Ha!

China turns its back on Russia!

We'll see about that.
Putin has ordered 21 mobile crematoriums from China in anticipation of even more losses in Ukraine.
It's believed they will be used on the frontline to hide the true scale of deaths among the mobilized troops.
Russia has already lost an estimated 110,000 soldiers since the invasion started last February, but there are rumors Moscow is preparing for the death toll to more than double to 220,000 by May.

Don't look now, but Iran has now said they do not recognize the annexation of Donetsk and Luhansk. They also just said they do not recognize the annexed territory of Crimea as Russian, and only recognize those areas as Ukraine. Poor little Vlad can't even get the terrorist nations to support him when he is buying drones from them. LMFAO

Someone mentioned Serbia again? You mean the Serbia that wants to join the EU? Or the fake Serbia some Russian shill's hide in? Are they different or the same? Is it the same Serbia that NATO took care of in short order?

In more news from the gilded country of Russia, planes, both military and civilian are now having to be taken out of the air and taken out of service. It looks like western sanctions are not allowing the Orcs to repair planes required for combat or planes shipping Russian women to Syria for their "working vacations". ;-) Planes could just start falling from the sky these days. No wonder little Vlad got so angry last week with procurement documents not being signed by his underlings. That same minister is said to now be wearing a parachute when entering buildings with balconies. Happy gulag biatches!

Interesting.....does someone know WHY Germany doesn't allow other armies to sell their Leopards? Here is why:

---------------
....For every single tank that KMW wants to sell, the company needs a permit from the federal government. Depending on the buyer, this is sometimes granted after more, sometimes after less discussion. Exports within NATO countries are rarely a problem.

The procedure is regulated in the War Weapons Control Act and, to put it simply, the idea behind it is as follows:The federal government wants to prevent heavy weapons from being supplied to states that could use them against Germany in case of doubt (or in other armed conflicts).

The recipient countries must therefore undertake to keep the military equipment. Should they exceptionally want to pass it on, as Poland is now planning to do with the Ukraine, Berlin's permission is also required.....

So....imagine that....Ukraine loses....falls back to Russia....then the russian army suddenly can use these Leopards, right? Is it that what Scholz fears?

GefreiterKania

Ukraine loses...

They will, if they don't receive more weapons.

the russian army suddenly can use these Leopards, right? Is it that what Scholz fears?

I doubt it. Soon there will be around 1500 K2s and Abrams in Poland, not to mention tons of artillery and other high-tech weapons. Good luck to Russians if they try to break through all that in трофейные леопарды he he :) This threat is imaginary, BB, whilst the threat of Ukrainian defeat is very much real. A no brainer.

PolAmKrakow

@Bratwurst Boy
IMO Germany just wants the US to keep doing the heavy lifting, as does most of Europe, except for Poland. The whole position of not sending tanks or allowing them to be sent unless the US sends Abrams tanks is complete bull$hit. The Abrams is powered by a Jet Engine for Fvck sakes. This is not your normal "Tank" and requires a whole lot more training and maintenance than traditional tanks.

But Scholz wants to keep the US pumping out these huge aid packages while Germany rebuilds its military. How much are they spending on rebuilding the military in Germany now? IF the reason is that Ukraine could lose and tanks would be turned on Germany then Germany doesn't trust the NATO alliance. Nothing of what Germany has done or is doing makes sense. Maybe send another 5000 helmets?

Bratwurst Boy

This threat is imaginary, BB, whilst the threat of Ukrainian defeat is very much real.

....it is!

Na ja.....maybe today will be made a decision.....our new "MOD" Boris Pistorius already sounds different than his predecessor and even the Chancellor:

No need for German, U.S. tanks to be sent to Ukraine simultaneously

reuters.com/world/europe/no-need-german-us-tanks-be-sent-ukraine-simultaneously-defence-minister-2023-01-19/

Till now Scholz demands USian Abrams tanks for Ukraine first to agree to Leopards....

Yes, that was said numbnut....we are all glad that she is gone....

You could hurt someone's feelings talking that way. lol Scholz is an embarrassment for Germany. Too soft, too much historical guilt, and not enough strong leadership. No better than Macron who is clearly compromised by Putin in some way.

Bratwurst Boy
20 Jan 2023  #2486

Too soft

....I wouldn't call it "soft".....he is a stubborn SOB! Once convinced of an opinion or decision he absolutely HATES it to make corrections....it's hair-pulling, really!

(Remember he became Chancellor as Germany and Russia were still friends and Nord Stream was about to be opened...and nobody cared about our military...there was peace and the future looked bright etc.....)

Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Pawel Jablonski has warned that they are ready to take "unconventional measures" if Germany resists handing over Leopard tanks to Ukraine, "even if someone is offended."

("Today these people, of course, will not say openly that they support Russia. There are many people who are very ashamed of it, but in reality they act in such a way in order not to harm Russia too much," Jablonski has elucidated.)

So what's the latest with the leopards? I've seen a coupe of different headlines/tweets and they all say different things....

This is what I mean by a lack of clear leadership from Germany, someone says yes and someone else says no and someone else says maybe if the star align...

Pick a position and stick with it rather than this waffling bvllsh|t, Deutschland!

Bratwurst Boy
20 Jan 2023  #2489

Pick a position and stick with it

Well....Scholz is sticking to his position ("Nein...no Leopards for Ukraine")....THAT is not the problem!

Maybe Poland should really go ahead....if something happens Scholz can always blame the Poles for it....win-win situation, heh:)

jon357
20 Jan 2023  #2490

lack of clear leadership from Germany

Nobody needs (or especially wants) them to lead anything. All people want is for them to stop obstructing others.

In the light of Poland's recent comments about doing it anyway, they may well find that other countries just go ahead providing one of them (probably Poland) takes the leads and goes first.
