My comment about natural resources in Ukraine was in response to PF morons claiming that Ukraine was winning. Winning my ass...With 20% of the land, 90% of natural resources in Russian hands, and millions gone - that ain't winning. If it is, define losing.


There are no Russian soldiers in Ukraine. There are in CDL defending Russia - just as the US Border Protection guys in Texas and California protect the US.

No US allies are threatening Poland's independence or sovereignty. On the contrary it supports it! If U.S.A decides to ruin their society without endangering Poland... Why should I try to stop them? Freedom? Rings a bell?

Russia on the other hand is invading Ukraine and has invaded several other countries before and does not leave her neighbours alone to grow, improve or change their way of life if they can stop it.

So until Russia does not invade neighbours because of said darkness, I will very much mind my own business, that of my family and that of my country. Cause, with regard to Russias darkness, they are all aligned! Try convincing some Mexicans for a change

The Polish Geographic Commission "renamed" Kaliningrad to Krulewiec

As the commission notes, it took into account the fact that the city, which now bears the name of Kaliningrad, is known by the "traditional Polish" name of Królewiec.

They also stated that the current name is "artificial, unrelated to either the city or the region".

Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev has already reacted to Warsaw's trick: "Then instead of Krakow - Krakau, Gdansk - Danzig and not Poland - the Kingdom of Poland as part of Russia".

Not Krulewiec, but Królewiec, because that's what it was always called.

It should not be named after Kalinin - one of the organizers of Katyn.

Of course as a man he was a total pussy - still sat on party committees even when Stalin's secret police were torturing his wife in the gulag. Typical subservient Muscovite sap. He should count himself lucky to get a tram stop named after him, let alone a proud city like Krolowiec.

Which is absolutely correct and, first and foremost, Kalinin was a bolshevik sickf*ck responsible for communist atrocities including Katyń (there was his signature on the decision of executing Polish prisoners). I have no idea why Poland ever agreed to call this city K*liningrad - Cun*tograd or Pizdograd might maybe considered more appropriate names, so I think Królewiec is a very nice, neutral name. Why are Russians complaining? That's all they do recently - complain, complain and complain.


Sure, why not. As long as it's not Himmlersberg or Rudolfhessberg (because those would be equivalents of Kaliningrad).

Little interest in this matter. Probably continue to live as usual. At least even Meduza did not find anything about oppression of such people (and surely they looked very carefully for any sort of crap to throw to the blades).

Nah....but....Königsberg! That has such a nice historical touch....there are not many Kings left in Europe...I envy the Brits their (german) monarchy abit I must say....

Actually, it is more like Z-P->0 because there was some problems to people who refused to change passport. Mother of my friend from Ukraine (who work in Lithuania now and surely will not go back) was forced to formally sell their home near the border to relative, because citizens of other countries cannot own property in a special regime territories along the borderline. He was given 1 year to either get Russian passport, either sell property in a controlled border area to Russian citizen. She decided to sell... And suddenly, border is moved and she again can own their home with ukrainian passport. ;)

Now, that's just rude.


OK, I can live with that. In return, as a gesture of goodwill, we will expect double German/Polish street names in ancient Slavic cities of Chociebuż (Cottbus), Budziszyn (Bautzen) and Skwierzyna (Schwerin). Berlin can keep its current name - it's Polish anyway. ;)

Also, as a bonus, we demand the flag of Thüringen (without the coat of arms) to become the official flag of entire Germany.
