Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 5

Paulina
18 Feb 2023  #781

You are ducking my question

No, I am not. Are you blind? I answered it in comment #769.

As does PolAm

No, PolAm doesn't support RuSSian invasion of Ukraine lol 🤦

Nothing worse than hypocritical Polish busybodies

Bobko and Velund are the hypocrites, because THEY are supporting this invasion, not us :)))

Bobko

Yes I'm Irish

Respect. You're the Swiss of the Atlantic, hahaha!

It really is breathtaking to see people here defend the dictator of South Vietnam, who was so unpopular even the State Dept and CIA weren't sure about what to do with him. Paulina doesn't bring up that South Korea was under a string of dictators either, and that North Korea exceeded them by all economic indicators into the 1980s. Nations are denied agency if it doesn't agree with Paulina's view of how things should be. What was claimed about Syria - no comment!

have a soft spot for Slavic culture.

killing civilians en masse because you think they're inferior is not "slavic culture"

Especially shameful for an Irish person to side with the colonizer who tried to destroy their victims' language and culture.... is that because the English succeeded in the case of Ireland?

Paulina

Paulina doesn't bring up that South Korea was under a string of dictators either,

I don't bring them up, because I have zero knowledge about the history of South Korea besides the fact that commies didn't win there thanks to the US and now South Korea is a rich, developed democracy and North Korea is a big concentration camp. Ask the South Koreans what they think about the US - they seem to be very grateful for the American support. And they praise Poland for their support for Ukraine and standing up to RuSSia.

Nations are denied agency if it doesn't agree with Paulina's view of how things should be.

Bullsh1t.

What was claimed about Syria - no comment!

No comment? Why not? RuSSia has a thing for supporting dictatorships and authoritarian rulers :)))

Back to the topic of the thread everyone, please

Unless you are British, you have probably never heard of Andrew Neil.
But he is one of the foremost and most respected political commentators and interviewers in the UK.
In this piece in today's Daily Mail he slates Britain's state of defence.Quite rightly so!
But the reason I am posting this is because of what he says about Poland.
And, as usual, he is bang on!

Quoting from the linked article:

The Russian invasion of Ukraine has pumped new lead into Nato's pencil. It is more united, determined, relevant, and well-resourced than ever.

The author is too stupid to recognize how circular his "logic" is. Let me explain.

NATO crawls up to Russia's front door. Russia reacts. NATO then claims it is necessary to have NATO to resist Russia. Fu*cking brilliant if his audience is K-graders.

K-graders, my apologies...

The author is too stupid

Sorry Rich, but the author is Andrew Neil a globally respected political commentator, journalist and TV and radio interviewer who has been in the job for many years and for a long time travelled to report from trouble zones all over the world.

You cannot hold a candle to him.
BTW, he is right of centre.

This war is about NATO alright. Which is why Russia invaded Ukraine - despite Ukraine's membership being firmly ruled out - which caused Finland and Sweden to abandon their neutrality, leaving Russia in a much worse strategic position.

@Miloslaw

It is interesting and kinda reassuring to know that waste and mismanagement is not restricted to the German MoD.

Novichok

despite Ukraine's membership being firmly ruled out

A country does not need to be a member of NATO to be de facto in NATO and hostile to Russia. Thus, Russia must make sure that Ukraine or any part of it is not NATO or NATO-ish.

That is why Russia has no choice but to make the whole of Ukraine Russia-friendly, not just D and L.
But, considering that Ukraine is winning and Russia is out of ammo and on the run, this ain't gonna be easy...

Bobko
19 Feb 2023  #790

which caused Finland and Sweden to abandon their neutrality

Russia will pretend to be outraged about this, but in reality we are not bothered about it at all. Finland and Sweden are two responsible countries, that pose no realistic threat to Russia, other than as proxies of the United States. We feel bad for their budgets, which will suffer from underinvestment in education and healthcare as they pivot to the military, and regret the symmetrical responses this will necessitate.

Ukraine is another deal altogether. It is like Poland. It is a country, which is hell bent on the physical destruction of Russia, and is willing to sacrifice its people and infrastructure if it means it may further the disintegration of Russia. Finland and Sweden are not so psychotic.

Tacitus
19 Feb 2023  #791

which is hell bent on the physical destruction of Russia

When was the last time Ukraine invaded Russia?

Russia has no choice

What would have happened to Russia in your opinion if they did not invade Ukraine?

Bobko
19 Feb 2023  #792

When was the last time Ukraine invaded Russia?

Strictly speaking, the 1920s. Otherwise, 1991.

RUSSIAN WOMAN IN GERMANY FINDS A SICK STORE DISPLAY

Why is she in Germany then? Probably a parasite.....

PolAmKrakow
19 Feb 2023  #794

@Crnogorac3
It would have been a better and more accurate display if Biden had Putin bent over. Piece of modern art. Wait until Putin's lifeless body is being dragged through the streets, kicked and spit on. Now that will be some cinematic beauty. Maybe they will rip him apart and send pieces to each country of NATO as souvenirs?

Wont it be amusing when NATO planes magically appear in Ukraine skies in the summer? Why else would Ukraine pilots already be training on NATO planes in the UK?

Some people were wondering why putain promoted general muradov who oversaw russia's catastrophic defeat at Vuhledar and who sent troops directly into a minefield...

Kamil Galeev (beloved by all russians who value truth and hated by all who live in a murky cloud of wounded narcissism and self-pity) is on the case

short story: he wants generals to stay on his side.... soldiers lives are nothing to him but loyalty in the military means something to him....

Tacitus
19 Feb 2023  #796

@Bobko

You do realize people can easily fact check you on this?

The 1920s was an invasion by Russia with Ukraine as a victim (and soon after that it became victim of the genocide known as Holodomor).

In 1991 the Ukrainians were finally able to throw away the yoke of the SU using the right of self-determination that Lenin himself had acknowledged. Which was confirmed by Moscow and even gave the Russians a chance to finally bury the SU and gain freedom themselves.

Bottom line, Ukraine has never threatened Russia. In fact it has at numerous times achieved a better form of governance. If the Russians had followed this example, their lifes would be much better nowadays. Instead they followed leaders who feared the symbol Ukraine could become and did everything to destroy it.

China thinking about sending weapons but I suspect one thing holding them back is they are worried their inferiority will quickly become apparant.

I am sure the Chinese military is just as useless and corrupt as the Russians, though they might at least be sober

Tacitus

@cms neuf

Indeed. Another thing I've read is that any intervention that may have negative effects for the Chinese economy is deeply unpopular amongst the Chinese people.

Poland made a better Russian style tank and gave it to Ukraine
Some old interesting news.

The Russians are not keeping Nazis out of Ukraine - in fact the opposite, the people there were happy enough until Russian Nazis arrived and decided to take the promising democracy and free market back to a 1942 timewarp.

The probability of Russia giving Crimea back to Zeestan is 158 times lower that the US giving Manhattan back to the tribe that lived there before they were asked to go somewhere else.

Or Poland returning Szczecin and Wroclaw to Germany.

The probability of Russia giving Crimea back to Zeestan

Ukraine might give up Crimea in exchange for its full demilitarisation.

Remember, the sanction clock is ticking relentlessly. Russia doesn`t have so much time.

MUNICH (AP) - The United States has determined that Russia has committed crimes against humanity in Ukraine, Vice President Kamala Harris said Saturday, insisting that "justice must be served" to the perpetrators.

I have determined that Russia was taunted and provoked into action by the globalist cabal that has been drooling after Ukraine's resources and its strategic location to come in handy in the final assault on Russia by military intimidation or Soros-style conquest by perverting Russian society. Not surprisingly, Russia said nyet.

But surpisingly, this will cost Russia a collapse. Ha!

Vice President Kamala Harris said Saturday, insisting that "justice must be served" to the perpetrators.

Meaning that NATO is about to get fully sucked into this European war with NATO boots on the ground in Ukraine.

PolAmKrakow
19 Feb 2023  #807

@johnny reb
Meaning A10 warthogs will go to Ukraine, no NATO troops. Hence Ukraine training on NATO standard planes in UK right now. Goes with more Republicans now voicing that everything should be sent to Ukraine now.

Russia is on the ropes. More so than even 1991 with the collapse of the USSR. Time to put the country down like the rabid dog it is.

war with NATO boots on the ground in Ukraine.

It will come along with the deliveries of stuff too complex for the untrained z-holes to operate.

Then the "advisors" will morph into US Marines and "advising" into a shooting war between said Marines and the Red Army. Stupid does not describe it adequately and it sure looks like some a-holes in DC didn't think things through.

Or maybe they actually did...It's been so long since the last war and the trillions we don't have dumped into it. How long has it been? Three months? Way too long for the spending addicts.

mafketis

untrained z-holes

you are sooooo bad at trolling...... z-hole would be a russian since Z became the symbol of the russo-nazi war against peaceful Ukraine....

the cool russian shills don't even say/write Zelenskyy because Z is so associated with the modern russian nazi state.

your association of z with Ukraine is confusing because at first the reader thinks you're dunking on russia...

do better!

Paulina

Strictly speaking, the 1920s. Otherwise, 1991.

Are you high on something? You do realise that besides Americans there other people on this forum who know the history of this part of Europe, right?

It will come along with the deliveries of stuff too complex for the untrained z-holes to operate.

There isn't anything "too complex" for Ukrainian soldiers - if Americans can operate something, then the rest of humanity can do it too lol

Then the "advisors" will morph into US Marines and "advising" into a shooting war between said Marines and the Red Army.

I see you're stuck in the Cold War era - there's no Red Army anymore lol
And Ukrainians are being trained in NATO countries - Poland, Germany, the UK, so there's no need for US advisors to go to Ukraine.
