Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 5

Tacitus
19 Feb 2023  #811

@Paulina

nothing too complex

Indeed. Ukrainian soldiers are noted by their trainers to be highly motivated and with a lot of experience already. If you have shot down plenty of rockets with a S 300, learning how to use a patriot system is going to be considerably easier than if you start from scratch.

@Novichok

I ask you again, what would have happened to Russia if they did not invade in 2022?

Pls nonsensical antisemitc conspiracy theories.

there other people on this forum who know the history of this part of Europe

You have a chance to enlighten us about history books contents from your version of reality. Tell us, how Russian Donbass and Novorossia became ukrainian regions in your universe...

And what was about city of Sevastopol, that was never handed to Ukraine at all, but was "captured" in 1991, and disputes was still ongoing till 2014.

@Velund, this is the question Tacitus asked Bobko:

When was the last time Ukraine invaded Russia?

Bobko's answer was this:

Strictly speaking, the 1920s. Otherwise, 1991.

Tacitus and me are saying to this - bullsh1t.

So, please, Velund, do enlighten us about how Ukraine invaded RuSSia in 1920s and in 1991 according to history books contents from your version of reality :)

Velund
19 Feb 2023  #815

how Ukraine invaded

In 1991 - easily. Administration appointed by freshly proclaimed independent Ukraine come to a city that was entity of Union (i.e. at same level of USSR hierarchy as Ukraine itself) and almost forcefully displaced old one. Protests followed immediately, but that time nobody figured out that howitzer is best and only efficient responce to brain ukrainism disease.

In 1920's - much more complicated story, but effect is the same - Russian regions became suddenly secessed and included to other (failed) state.

Meaning that NATO is about to get fully sucked into this European war

I rather think she means the courts AFTER the war, kinda Nürnberg style....

Paulina

@Velund, I'm asking again - how Ukraine invaded RuSSia in 1920s and 1991. By "invaded" any normal human being means "military invasion". I'll give you a hint - in order to invade a country militarily you need to invade it with an army, not with "administration" ;D

almost forcefully

;D

Velund
19 Feb 2023  #818

with an army, not with "administration"

Ukrainian army not yet existed that time, so nationalistic administration was most powerful "army" ukraine had at the moment. Later, "trains of friendship" from Galicia followed, with paramilitary "forces" of nationalists.

;D

It meant that operation of USSR appointed administrative units was blocked, and offices occupied by "riders" (somewhere night time, somewhere with blocking first with crowd).

Paulina
19 Feb 2023  #819

@Velund, I'm not interested in your Putinist "metaphors" :))) I'm interested in facts. Administration isn't an army and Ukraine didn't invade RuSSia.

Ukrainian army not yet existed that time

There you go :)

facing the reality and instead you're looking for an escape

its the russian way, run screaming from reality (which is that russia is a failing 5th rate craphole that no other country wants to be like)

nothing has made me as russophobic as reading what russians write justifying the war (before and during) it's all an unappetizing glob of self-pity and delusions of adequacy and utter indifference to values like human life or human dignity)

it's a pathological basket case and will be as long as russians are in charge of it

Paulina

It is you who have problems.

No, Velund, you guys have problems. Really serious problems with yourselves (and you're not "solving" them - on the contrary - you're repeating your old mistakes over and over again). And the tragic part about it is that you don't even realise it...

its the russian way, run screaming from reality

Yup.

nothing has made me as russophobic as reading what russians write

Me too.

much more complicated story,

I wrote a paper on the Peace of Brest-Litovsk, so I would consider myself capable of understanding the basic story. Go on and tell us how Ukraine invaded Russia back in 1920.

That should be entertaining given that you have shown a lot of creativity regarding 1991.

Bobko

Go on and tell us how Ukraine invaded Russia back in 1920

I thank my colleague Velund for his help in re: to 1991, which imho was the less straightforward of the two.

1920s is easy, and understanding the shifts from the German puppet state put in place by Brest-Litovsk, to the Ukrainian People's Republic, to the Ukrainian SSR is indeed helpful. So here's why Ukraine can be considered to have invaded.

1) Because Russia cannot invade itself
2) In the second half of the Ukrainian-Soviet War (if defined as lasting between 1917-1921), Ukraine was a part of the Soviet Union, by popular choice. That is, Ukraine joined as a Soviet Republic voluntarily.

3) Yet the war continued, aided by the Ukrainian government-in-exile (located first in Poland, then in France, and finally in Nazi Germany).
4) This is why I thought I shouldn't take earlier periods, and in attempt to be fair said only 1920s. A rabid Russian nationalist would have said 1917.

Novichok
20 Feb 2023  #824

1) Because Russia cannot invade itself

Perfect. That's why the Russian army is at home while in Crimea, Donbas, and Luhansk and the invaders are z-holes.
The probability of the three ever being given away to Russia's enemies is a perfect fu*cking zero. Just as the US giving Gitmo back to Cuba or Poland giving back its Western part to Germany. All that goes under "tough sh*it".

Thanks for making this point, Bobko.

20 Feb 2023  #825

Hey, Putin haters, do you recall posting what coward he was hiding in a bunker? Of course, you do, so eat sh*it with this one...Quoting:

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and his associates spent almost two months in a bunker after the outbreak of the conflict with Russia, instead of the planned two weeks, and underwent significant hardships, The Times has reported.

Yes, I know. Putin in a bunker - coward. Z in a bunker - brave.

20 Feb 2023  #826

Quoting dailymail:

'Our tanks will be parked on Red Square and that will be justice': Kyiv security chief vows to expel all Russian troops from Ukraine soil and brands Vladimir Putin 'Hitler's twin'

He forgot to say when so I will do it for him: A week after Russia apologizes, blows up the bridge, and returns Crimea to Ukraine.

Or when the US makes Gitmo Cuban again.

Zelensky has his bunker in a war zone and visited combat zones regularly

Putin's bunker is hidden in a mountain and he is terrified even of his sitting close to his colleagues - he will never visit the war zone to cheer up his frozen drunk troops

And your whataboutery now goes back to things that happened in the 1898 Spanish American war ? Mind you I think Russia is still using ships and rifles from the Russo Japanese war

@cms neuf

" Mind you I think Russia is still using ships and rifles from the Russo Japanese war"

Well that could only be true if not too many Russian soldiers were unarmed or without bullets. The logistcs are in a terrible state as far as I know. Sure plenty of them could only dream of having a rifle

In other real news, in the real war, not on the troll farm with Velund, Bobko and the other brainless Putinazis, the EU is about to enter into joint ammunition purchasing and production agreements. The block of countries will do this together to speed up production and acquisition, which will speed distribution to Ukraine as well. My best guess is this is the first step in what will likely lead to an EU Military force in the next five years or so. The entirety of Europe united in one military along with each nations own reserves to ensure the Orcs do not even think of doing something like this again.

Imagine the future with every country in Europe on Russia's border armed and ready. Imagine the isolation of that POS country. Indoor toilets will become legendary and mythical things. Imagine the meme's they will create from other classic US movies because they can not create any films of their own. Willy Wonka will be a and Charliie will be a metaphor of what the Russian people and Kremlin really are. Happy gulag you dumb mother fvckers!

Denis Zakharov is a very rare bird.... an intellectually honest Russian with no delusions of grandeur or self-pity (often despairing of his sheep-like unimpressive countrymen).

Here he outlines what would happen if russia is allowed to keep any Ukrainian lands (short story - lots of dead Ukrainians, corruption, rearming and a resumption of military hostilities in about a year).

@Bobko

I knew you'd be creative, but that was a good one. "Russia can not invade itself". Next time people talk about Germany invading Poland, one should tell them that Germany can not invade itself according to your logic.

In the real world, Russia had recognized the Independence of Ukraine like it did with Finland and the Baltic states that were part of the Russian Empire. Which it ended up respecting the same way. (None at all)

In short. You failed to produce a single example in which Ukraine was the agressor towards Russia. And Novichok has failed to explain what would have happened to Russia if it did not invade in 2022.

Great leadership from Biden and Zelensky

Serious question for Russian Nazi trolls - do people in Russia, in their few sober moments, ever ask why Putin never visits Ukraine ?

Tacitus
20 Feb 2023  #834

Or what Putin considers to be Russia?

Do Russians really look at pictures of Putin sitting in his bunker, wearing a bullet-proof vest while meeting a few people of his staff and think: This bravery is what I am looking for in my leader?

PolAmKrakow
20 Feb 2023  #835

The US message to Putin could not be more clear now. Something along the lines of go fvck yourself. Biden with all his faults handled this perfectly. He speaks before Putin does on the 24th. Shows he is not afraid and the US will continue to back Ukraine. There is absolutely nothing Russia can do to win at this point. All the Orcs can do is kill and scorch the earth. How many thousands more Russian boys have to die to accomplish this is the only other question.

Putin is just another Russian pu$$y. I wonder what regular Russians will be talking about today? Something along the lines of Joe Biden was in Ukraine? He wasn't afraid to go there when were are supposed to be winning? Maybe we really are fvcked? Maybe its time to get rid of little Vlad?

How many thousands more Russian boys have to die

Not something that bothers russians.... human life (especially non-elite human life) simply isn't an important value to them.

I logged off twitter for a bit to check out pro-russian twitter feeds (blocked on most of them since they don't handle other points of view well) and so far radio silence though apparently some russian media and russians on telegram are handling it in a very composed manner by calling for Kyiv to be nuked....

Best part... he's upstaged putain's big speech tomorrow (wonder if it will be delayed for unexplained reasons).

A few years ago just after the election Biden appeared at some international thing and every country was trying desperately to meet with him. A Ukrainian I know pointed out "That's what putain wants, he wants to be the guy that everybody wants to meet because he's so important"

How's that workin' out for ya, Uncle Vova?

Scary isn't it ? ( biden: "Good morning South Car-o-lina" ) :-/

In other real news, in the real war, not on the troll farm

My best guess is, Imagine the future, Imagine the isolation, Imagine the meme's

That is other real news, imagining and guessing and not trolling ?
The last time you imagined was when you claimed Russia was running out of rockets and ammo.
bidens stop in Ukraine is merely a photo op to take attention off the laptop from hell that is going to convict him of treason.

He used balloons for his red herring a few weeks ago.

Yep, exactly why the Orcs are using missiles designed for air to sea, and sea to sea to air for hitting targets on land. This isn't the Trump stomping grounds, remember he lost to said idiot Biden. Wouldn't that make him the bigger idiot?

What's not imaginary if the next half billion dollars announced for Ukraine. What's also not imaginary is all those A10 Warthogs in the desert being kept on maintenance even though technically being retired a few months ago. Those same A10's that are designed to attack ground positions. Those same A10's that are on NATO standard systems, those same systems Ukraine pilots are training on.

exactly why the Orcs are using missiles designed for air to sea, and sea to sea to air for hitting targets on land.

Seems they have an endless supply of them as they are charring the landscape in Ukraine at will.

What's not imaginary if the next half billion dollars announced for Ukraine.

I know as the Conservatives of America weep as they watch their tax money go down the drain which could have been used to shut down our border that now even the Russians are walking across into our country illegally and the war mongering Liberals like you welcome with open arms.

all those A10 Warthogs

Oh you and your Warhogs that you keep banging on about.
By the time they ever get there, if they ever do, Russia will have traded China oil for some laser that will melt your Warhogs in flight.

Imagine that.

PolAmKrakow

@johnny reb
Only problem with your thinking is that it is not accurate. This isn't tax money, its imaginary money turned into national debt that will never be paid hand has zero effect on you, me or anyone else other than the Orcs it will help kill.

Endless supply? I dont think so. And if you are following the news, the missiles being fired count has dropped drastically over the last month. You dont repurpose missiles unless you have no other option. Pretty simple explanation.

Warthogs? It bothers you, I know, when the obvious available planes, and current training of Ukraine forces in UK lines up pretty easily. Very easily when you look at the A10 purpose for ground attacks. And the Biden visit likely included talks on planes.

War mongering liberals? Like me? LMFAO I dont want a war, I want to end it. Simple. Stop bleeding Ukraine out, and give them what they need instead of nickel and diming. And now it looks like the UK will do just that and send missiles with a 500 KM range to Ukraine. And that is exactly what they need. Reaching out to Crimea about to become easier.
