We worry about Donbass population, regardless of self-identification (Russians, Malorossians (Ukrainians), Jews, Serbians - there is a lot of nationalities living there historically, not just freshly arrived galician/canadian scum).

Out of my understanding Russian secret services forced Russian military to perform artillery strikes on Donbas region to begin this whole mess. Most Russian military knows about this plot most likely (which is why it's so resignated about all this) and has men reporting it and deserting.
