I guess that has alot to do with the "white" anti-communist movement fighting the "red" Bolsheviks. Actually a commendable fight, knowing what Stalin and the Soviets and communism generally did to land and people. Unlucky because of that they were naturally allied with Nazi-Germany....these roots seem to be still strong.

Interesting reports that the Orcs are now taking up defensive positions outside of Bakhmut in some of the smaller towns and villages. Looks likt ehty blew their wad and now cant complete the job. Meanwhile Ukraine is taking parts of the city back block by block. Soon air support and more ground support. I think we will see another rolling over of the Orcs like last year in Kharkiv. Happy gulag biatches!

NATO has of today a new member....Finland! Sweden next....now that didn't work so well for Putin, a classical own goal!

Finland just added 1340 kilometers to NATO's border with Russia.
This has to have caused Putin to have some major gas.

Agression is not through membership in any association. Thats right out of little Vlads speech book. Finland is not an issue and neither is NATO. Russia is the issue. Once again, Ukraine was denied membership and still denied membership. 11all the paranoid thinking in the world isnt going to turn NATO into an invading force in Russia.

russia.... without russia's invasion of Ukraine Finland would not think that joining NATO is necessary or even a good idea.

Finland and Sweden were proud neutrals/non-aligned for decades, through the whole Cold War....that all changed last year with Putin's decision to violate Ukraine's border....so, the conclusion is easy!

Then why did the U.S.A. (NATO) have a meltdown when Russia was going to put nukes in Cuba ?

...probably a better comparison would be if the US would put nukes in Finland now...then Moscow having a meltdown would be more understandable!

Finland is not a nuke nation. Never has been never will be. Cuba, and Russia sending a missile there was a direct attempt to provoke the US. Cuba at the time was also a hostile country toward the US, when Finland is not, and Ukraine was not. Putin $hit the bed with this invasion in ever possible way. He is really just a stupid thug. All thugs end up dead or in jail, just a matter of time.

Poland doesn't even border Russia....but Cuba was directly in sighting distance of Florida and a vassall of Moscow!!!

Imagine Ukraine becoming NATO member and the US putting nukes directly near the border to Russia (or Kaliningrad)...now THAT would be an even better comparison!
