Poland`s aid to Ukraine if Russia invades - part 5

KIEV'S OFFICIAL ADMITS "HORRIBLE LOSSES"

He is lying and I trust PF war experts. Especially maf.
We all know that Ukraine is winning and has no losses. Only Russia has losses, is out of ammo and on its last legs.
Also, Putin is ready to sign surrender papers.
The big winner: Poland with 4 million Ukrainians as a replacement for the Poles who left looking for work in Western "democracies".

The latest numbers are Ukraine losing 125,000 men according to leaked information from the US. Probably very accurate. Russian losses over 200,000. Russia has never quit a war before loosing at least 500,000 men. We have a year or so to go by that metric. Unless of course Ukraine is very successful this summer. Happy gulag biatches!

Because the Russians in Ukraine deserved the same protection as any other minority.

It's Ukrainian sovereign land, recognized by the global community. Ukrainian elections were legit and fair. Every candidate that fulfilled the criteria could participate and there was no tinkering with the voting and calculating the results. The process was conducted under control of international organizations, among them OSCE.

...or the French in Canada be part of Canada...

Or if the Ruskies in USA want to be part of America? If Russian is not happy living in the foreign country he can move to Russia.

This is what it is going to take to wake up the Russian citizens.
Hit them at home and see how they like it.
A drone with an explosive device has attacked the airport of Russian Belgorod, located 30 km from the border with Ukraine
Good job Ukraine, now how about targeting Russian civilians like Russia has done.
Spread some of that fear back at em'.

Dont look now but another "warehouse" just exploded outside of Moscow. Crazy how things just seem to self detonate some days in Russia. While this just doesnt happen in other countries. Must be something in the water.

It's Ukrainian sovereign land, recognized by the global community.

...and now is a pile of junk. That's what "the global community" got for ignoring reality.

It was this global community that used the label "separatists", not "freedom fighters", and they knew what "separatists" typically want. Here is a clue, Mr. Community,...they wanted to separate.

Now the question is from what...So here is another clue...From Ukraine. Like Kosovo from Serbia.

That was the time to find out if it is true and take a poll. Since Ukraine is a lovely and very democratic country, Kiev would not only not object to a poll but would actively support it to show the world how happy Ukrainian Russians are. Mr. Soros would gladly pay for it.

So, why didn't the global community conduct a poll before Feb 24, 2022? It would be a great propaganda tool in exposing the sham referendum later on.

Few things are more tedious than debating children.

Just for a point of reference and clarity. Russia has not captured 18% of Ukraine since February 2022. Included in that 18% is the entirity of Crimea which was taken in 2014. So the land gains by Russia really are quite small since this round of invasion tactics. The relative costs are extremely high.

Just for a point of reference and clarity. Russia

Russia has captured X% of Ukraine's natural resources and deprived Ukraine of Y% of GNP. Now the question is what are X and Y?

My X and Y are 90 each. What are yours?

While we are into numbers, a question for PF Russia haters...

Would the YES votes be higher than 51% if the Crimean referendum was conducted in 2013 to your dream rules?

YES = We want to separate from Ukraine and join the Russian Federation.

Irrelevant....

In other news you support violent thugs... and stealing from other people. You are a dishonest thief and you should move to Chicago if you can't make it to russia.

they wanted to separate.

I am amused that you like a naive child gazing behind the veil of politics for the first time. You seem to be forgetting Russia started the war in 2014, ripping Crimea and parts of Donbas from Ukraine.

I approved deportation to Russia of those who would not agree to live under Ukrainian rule. Which is a legitimate rule over these territories, recognized by the majority of the world.

If Russians have no problem living in Ukraine (as they did before 2014) I see no reason to cause any problems to them.

So what would an UN-sponsored, EU-supervised, NATO-policed, pope-blessed Crimean referendum result be in 2013?

Korvinus

pope-blessed Crimean referendum result be in 2013?

If they wanted to be part of Russia they could have moved to fu*cking Russia. I'm sure Kremlin would grant them citizenship.

The notion that land should change country with the people was the exact idea that kickstarted the brutal wars in former Yugoslavia. Here it had similar effects. Russia recognized and guaranteed Ukraine's borders in Budapest memorandum. If Putin had an ounce of decency he would honor this settlement, while accepting all the 'refugees' from Donbass or Crimea.

@Novichok
Your numbers or my numbers do not matter. The reference I made was to a real report. Keeping reality in perspective and not imagining the best for either side.

I believe GNP of Ukraine is down about 50% last I read, but I could be wrong. Natural resources? I dont think the number is 90%, maybe somewhere around 30%, but those resources are still in contention via a war.

How is the ruble doing? Still wondering what the crash will be like when foreign investors can get their money out of the Russian stock market. Anyone thinking for one second that Russia will not be paying hundreds of billions in reparations is delusional.

The concept of self-determination is clearly foreign to you. In the meantime...

What would an UN-sponsored, EU-supervised, NATO-policed, pope-blessed Crimean referendum result be in 2013?

How about a number instead of essays?

I believe GNP of Ukraine is down about 50% last I read, but I could be wrong.

I hope US military welfare - I meant assistance - is not included in that 50%.

What if regions inside Russia wanna it?

Very good question. Let's come back to it after we cover the question I raised:

What would an UN-sponsored, EU-supervised, NATO-policed, pope-blessed Crimean referendum result be in 2013?

Let's call it a perfect referendum, for short.

Korvinus

What would an UN-sponsored, EU-supervised, NATO-policed, pope-blessed Crimean referendum result be in 2013?

Just after Chechnya's referendum.

Novichok
11 Apr 2023  #2450

That comparison is lame. Russia is "evil" and Ukraine is a Western, world-class democracy worth dying for. So...

What would an UN-sponsored, EU-supervised, NATO-policed, pope-blessed Crimean referendum result be in 2013?

Korvinus

Novichok
11 Apr 2023  #2452

Chechnya is not a Western, world-class democracy. It's a tyranny where people are shot for voting the wrong way.

Ukraine, on the other hand, is a Western, world-class democracy worth dying for.

So, why they didn't have any polls or a referendum to blunt evil Russia's propaganda about self-determination Russians crave there?

Could it be because the outcome was as known and would match the one in 2014? Just trying to be helpful...

Speaking of getting shot...How many people in Crimea were shot or gulaged for voting NO? Must be in thousands...Those evil Russians...In Amrica, the vote is always 49-51, even if the question is if 2+2 is equal 4.

Korvinus
11 Apr 2023  #2453

Chechnya is not a Western, world-class democracy.

Imagine being a Chechen from Chechnya,a country destroyed by Russians, much of its population decimated just 20 years ago, forced to fight Ukrainians so that Russians can massacre them too.

Could it be that young russian men are not actually worried about the big bad NATO and actually have more to fear from their own government?

Imagine being a Chechen from Chechnya,a country destroyed by Russians,

You seem upset and surprised. Didn't I just say that Russia is evil?

Now imagine Ukraine, a Western world-class democracy with a long tradition of peaceful coexistence with Poles, laying in ruins because one moron got an email from another moron 5000 miles away with "don't you dare" in it.

My response would be FU, a-hole, and invite Putin to find out firsthand what the fu*ck he wants before we all go stupid and watch men die for sh*it.

That's me, Mr. Diplomacy...

He doesn't want Ukraine to exist. He's made that very clear. Nothing to do with NATO (an excuse thrown out for gullible westerners who hate their own governments and are eager for a big daddy pimp to save them)

What cultural insiders (who know the language, cultural and political context of russia, unlike you) say, over and over again, is that putain thinks Ukraine is a fake country that is really russian and if the people don't want to be russian they should be killed, whether that's 1, 10, 100,000 or 10,000,000 or all of them.

You will wait a long time, my friend.

At the same time I'm sure 1200 missiles used in Surovikin's terror campaign did not deplete Russia's stockpiles one bit :-D

Sure, Ukraine needs more air defence. And they will get it.

Meanwhile Canada decided to send weapons and ammo to Ukraine.

Perhaps, perhaps not.

In any case, the importance of Ukraine in the greater scheme of things would seem to be somewhat overestimated. The fall of Russia, on the other hand, will bring consequences still difficult to predict.
